Big local istrian derby. Yes, it is true that Istra have some financial problems at the moment and that they are on the last place currently, but no matter of that they have better squad than their ranking suggest at the moment. Normally they should be somewhere in the middle of the table, at least they have better squad then Cibalia, Rudes or Inter.

On the other side Rijeka is normally favourite in this game, but the must face few bog problems in-front of this game. Firstly, they will be without brazilian striker Heber who had scored 8 goals + 2 assists in last 6 games for Rijeka. Secondly, Rijeka have 5 very important players in danger of suspension if they receive yellow card today, and they have two hard derbies in next two rounds, against Osijek and Dinamo. This players are both CD's Zuparic and Elez, key midfielder and playmaker Misic, key winger Vesovic and probably their best striker Gavranovic. I'm sure that Rijeka coach Kek will ask for very carefull approach today because every possible missing from this players in upcoming derby games will be big problem for Rijeka.

Rijeka seems to be good favourite here, but I would not touch them at offered price...




DINAMO - OSIJEK

Dinamo is favourite in this game, especially as they have full squad available for this game, and Osijek have both regular backs out - LB Barisic and RB Sorsa.

At the moment Dinamo have big advantage on 1st place, they are out from european competitions and they are fully focused on domestic championship.

However, Osijek is not weak at all, and this season they play fantastic against strong opponents who don't play defensive football. Osijek have won against Rijeka and Hajduk this season, they played draw against Dinamo despite they played that game with 9 substitute players, and don't forget their european wins against PSV Eindhoven 2x, Austria Wien in away game, etc ...
