    Norway Eliteserien, OBOS-Ligaen, 2.Division Playoff 20-21 November

    Saturday 20.11.2021 Stromsgodset - Mjondalen:

Both teams are using artificial turf at their home stadiums.

Norway Eliteserien - Game start 18:00 CET

Stromsgodset (9-7-10) played 1-1 draw away against Tromso last round, and with a 13 point gap to Brann and Stabak on the relegation/playoff spots with 4 games left to play, the Drammen side are safe from relegation this year.
The darkblue and whites are 8-3-2 at Marienlyst, with goal score 32-10.

    -------------------------------------------------------------

Bottom side Mjondalen (3-10-13) lost 0-1 at home against Viking last round, and Captain Gauseth missed a penalty midway through the 2nd half. Instead Viking got a penalty 3 minutes in overtime, and scored.
Mjondalen are 1-5-7 on the road, with goal score 12-27.

Stromsgodset - Mjondalen ended 2-1 in 2020. (Mjondalen - Stromsgodset ended 1-1 earlier this season.

Saturday 20.11.2021. This can be a day Stromsgodsets supporters will not forget for long.
Mjondalen have been the underdogs in most of these Alv Classicos, entering the games with the most desire, and most to "revenge" against the big brothers in Drammen.
After many years of annoying Godset home and away in the local derbies, I believe the momentum has changed, and its time for a real comeback.
Stromsgodset are safe from relegation now, and can enter this game with only one motivation, to send Mjondalen down to OBOS-Ligaen..
Mjondalen have disappointed in their gameplay lately, and only some top solo performances by Lars Olden Larsen have kept them alive in the battle against relegation of late.
Stromsgodset are 6-1-2 at Marienlyst in their latest games (league+cup), and they have scored 3 goals or more in 5 of their last 8 games at home (league+cup).
Mjondalen have allowed 3 goals or more against them in 4 of their last 6 games (league+cup).

Pick: Stromsgodset to win and Stromsgodset to score Over 2.5 goals, 9/10 stakes, odds [email protected] Good luck!

    Saturday 20.11.2021 Hodd - Arendal:

Both teams are using artificial turf at their home stadiums.

Norway 2.Division Promotion Playoff Game 1 of 2 - Game start 16:00 CET

Hodd (18-6-2) won 3-1 at home against Barum last round, and the blue and whites moves into this promotion playoff with 6 straight victories, even though their playoff spot were secured for most of the time.
The hosts have yet to lose at home, 9-4-0, with goal score 34-6.

    ----------------------------------------------------------------------

Arendal (13-9-4) performed a miracle comeback, as they won 5 of their 6 latest games, and Egersund lost 4 of their 5 latest games, and Arendal defeated them 5-2 at home in the 2.Division Group 2 finale.
The guests are 5-4-4 on the road, with goal score 22-24.
Top scorer Andreas Hellum (Att 24/17) got injured in the away game against Odd Reserves 2 weeks ago, and he had to watch his side defeat Egersund in the battle for the playoff spot one week ago (Hellum has scored 8 goals in his 4 latest games).

    Hodd - Arendal ended 0-3 in 2019.

Promotion playoff battle between two 2.Division sides that both are undefeated at home.
Hodd claimed this playoff spot much earlier than Arendal, and have had the advantage of resting players if neccessary, to be fully ready for these battles.
On the other hand, Arendal have been pushed to perform at their very best the latest weeks, and the 5-2 win in the must win game against Egersund must have been a major morale boost in front of these two games.
Hodd have kept it low scoring at home against the better sides this season, 0-0 Kongsvinger, 1-1 Asker, 1-2 Molde (in the Cup), but they have scored 3 goals or more in 5 games in a row now.
Arendal had a 8 game non-winning streak on the road (0-4-4) ended when they scored 3 minutes in overtime away against Odd Reserves (3-2) two weeks ago, and they will most likely travel to Ulsteinvik with the ambition to keep it close, and not to lose by more than one goal.
We all remember what they did in their last home game, and everything is possible at Norac Stadion in one week.
For this game, I will go for Hodd victory, and Under 4.5 goals at 2.45.

Pick: Hodd win + Under 4.5 goals, 9/10 stakes, odds [email protected] Good luck!

Hi, it is interesting in OBOS Ligaen... do you think Grorud will win in Strommen? They look they are in form and last round is at home against Ham Kam, so to avoid relegation play out, they should go for 3 points on Saturday.. I am thinking about to take DNB away win...

I agree with you that Grorud could be a good pick tomorrow. Only theory can rescue Strommen, and Grorud can reach their main goal this season, and stay clear of relegation with a win.
PS! Groruds top scorer Oscar Aga (Att 26/22) has scored 4 goals in his 3 latest games. If the bookies open up goalscorer bets, bets on Aga to score one and two+ goals can be good choices as well.

          Saturday 20.11.2021 Strommen - Grorud:

Both teams are using artificial turf at their home stadiums.

PS! This game will be played on neutral pitch - Jessheim Stadion (Ullensaker KIsas home stadium).

          Norway OBOS-Ligaen - Game start 15:00 CET

Bottom side Strommen (3-12-13) pretty much sealed their relegation with their 2-4 loss away against Raufoss last round, unless they win their two remaining games, and Stjordals Blink lose both games (and Ullensaker Kisa doesnt claim two points or more). 1-0-4 in their last games.
Strommen are 3-7-4 at home, with goal score 13-16.
Laurent Mendy (Mid/Att 8/0) got sent off away against Raufoss, and will be suspended here.

          ----------------------------------------------------------------

Grorud (9-4-15) claimed 3 very important points at home against Asane last round, and they have won 4 of their 5 latest home games.
The Yellow and Blues are only 3 points from securing their spot in OBOS-Ligaen for the second time in a row, very impressive stuff by the Oslo side.
The guests are 3-3-8 on the road, with goal score 18-30.
Hassan Yousef (Mid 18/0) is suspended.

Strommen - Grorud ended 2-1 in 2020. (Grorud - Strommen ended 1-0 earlier this season)

Relegation battle on neutral pitch - Jessheim Stadion (Ullensaker Kisas home stadium).
Strommen need two wins in their two remaining games (and Stjordals Blink and Ullensaker Kisa not to claim one, and two points), while Grorud need 3 points in their two latest games to survive.
Both teams have had 2 weeks to prepare for this match now, and normally a draw would have been the most likely outcome, as 5 of Strommens last 8 home games have ended draws (often low scoring as well).
If Strommen plays a draw here though, they will relegate, so defense first is not an option this time (even though their coach is not the type to go all in from start).
Grorud are 3 points from reaching their big goal, to stay clear of relegation. Top scorer Oscar Aga (Att 26/22) has scored 4 goals in his 3 latest games, and hes the kind of player that always will be a threat, no matter the team Grorud will face. He may lead his Grorud side to survival in OBOS-Ligaen two seasons in a row, thanks to hard work, and being a natural goalscorer.
Groruds last away win came at this stadium, in their 2-1 win away against Ullensaker Kisa one month ago.
Since Strommen have to go all-in to get a goal in the late minutes (if the score is draw, or Grorud lead), Groruds quick attackers Aga and Kristensen may get great opportunities on counters. Kristensen to score can be a good bet as well, but check the lineups before you do. He has often started on the bench (if so, money back at Unibet).
Unibet once again proves they are the best bookmaker for Norwegian football, as they allow specials in interesting games like these, also at OBOS-Liga level.

          - Oscar Aga has scored in 15 of the 25 games he has been in the starting lineup in OBOS-Ligaen 2021.
          - He has scored 2 goals or more in 6 of the 25 games he has been in the starting lineup in OBOS-Ligaen 2021.
          - Aga is normally Groruds first choice penalty taker, if Grorud will get a chance from the penalty spot.

Pick: Oscar Aga (Grorud) to score, 9/10 stakes, odds [email protected] Good luck!

Interesting game this, always is, with this derby.
Much at stake for away side Mj?ndalen, not so much for the home team, but they will surely like to see their rivals relegated.
I find it hard to bet on this match, but the home side definitively got more quality.

Bound to be a lot of cards, yellow and perhaps red.

              Agree with Mightye

Grorud is perhaps one of the better bets, in terms of motivation. And Aga, scores when he wants. On penalties as well.

                Sunday 21.11.2021 Sarpsborg 08 - Odd:

Both teams are using artificial turf at their home stadiums.

Norway Eliteserien - Game start 17:00 CET

Sarpsborg 08 (10-5-11) looked like a relegation candidate earlier this season, but what a turnaround! 4 straight victories in the league, and they keep creating chance after chance.
The Blue and Whites are 6-4-3 at home, with goal score 20-12.
Horn (Def 0/0), Vetti (Mid 8/0), Molins (Att 2/0), Abdellaoue (Att 0/0) and Compaore (Att 0/0) are out.
Benjamin Karamoko (Def 22/0) is suspended.

                ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Odd (7-8-11) lost 2-4 at home against Kristiansund last round, and the Skien side are 7 points above Mjondalen on the relegation playoff spot, with 4 games remaining.
The White and Blacks are 3-4-6 on the road, with goal score 12-25.
Gilli Rolantsson (Mid/Att 20/1) is doubtful.
Joshua Kitolano (Mid 26/2) is suspended.

                Sarpsborg 08 - Odd ended 2-0 in 2020. (Odd - Sarpsborg 08 ended 1-1 earlier this season)

Battle between two mid-table sides that most likely (Odd still needs some more points to be secure) will stay clear of relegation.
Sarpsborg 08 have won 4 games in a row, they are safe from relegation, and they can focus on building on their good performances of late.
Odd are in a bit of no mans land, Sander Svendsen looks dominant in his attacking role, and they create chance after chance at home, but somehow they end up with draw at best, and they are now on a 6 game non-winning streak (0-3-3).
Sarpsborg 08 have impressed a lot up front lately, and they have multiple possible goalscorers, making them very hard to mark out.
My pick will be that the former Odd player, Jonathan Lindseth (Mid/Att 21/10), will score (and Sarpsborg 08 to keep their winning streak alive).
Lindseth has scored (8 goals) in 5 of his last 6 games, and creates a lot of chances for Kone and Opseth as well for the Blue and Whites.
He has scored 2 goals or more in 2 of his last 4 games, and I will go for some long shot bets here tonight.
Unibet, Betsafe and Bet365 offer the Lindseth x1, x2 + Home Win combos, Bet365 with the best odds atm.

Pick: Jonathan Lindseth (Sarpsborg 08) to score + Sarpsborg 08 to win, 7/10 stakes, odds [email protected]
Pick: Jonathan Lindseth (Sarpsborg 08) to score 2 goals or more + Sarpsborg 08 to win, 3/10 stakes, odds [email protected]
