    Norway Eliteserien, OBOS-Ligaen , 2.Div 25-27 Sept

    Sunday 26.09.2021 Bodo/Glimt - Valerenga:

Both teams are using artificial turf at their home stadiums.

    Game start 20:00 CET

The reigning champions Bodo/Glimt (11-5-3) are back at the top of the league after a impressive comeback from being 0-1 behind, to win 3-1 away against Viking (that were 6-2-1 at home before that game) last round.
New signing Amahl Pellegrino (Att) scored his 5th goal in 4 games, and the yellow and blacks also have another interesting signing coming up in Branns former key player Gilbert Koomson (Mid/Att), and Bodo/Glimt have ambitions to have the width in their squad to handle league + europe.
Bodo/Glimt are 6-3-1 at home, with goal score 26-10.
Key midfielder Patrick Berg (Mid 19/3) is suspended.

Valerenga (6-9-4) lost 0-3 at home against Fagermos former side Odd in the Cup tonight, and it didnt look good. The Oslo side didnt play bad against Molde (1-1) in the weekend, but they had a another big defeat away against Sandefjord (0-3) 10 days ago, and its quite obvious Valerenga sold their main creative force when Aron Donnum (Mid/Att 10/6) left earlier this summer.
The guests are 3-3-3 on the road, with goal score 13-15.
Amor Layouni (Att 18/3) - yellow cards, and Osame Sahraoui (Att 17/1) - sent off in the Cup, are both out with suspensions.

    Bodo/Glimt - Valerenga ended 2-0 in 2020. Valerenga - Bodo/Glimt ended 1-1 earlier this season.

The reigning champions impressed with a solid comeback away against one of the strongest home sides in Eliteserien, Viking, from being 0-1 behind, to score 3 goals in 2 half to turn the game around, 3 days after winning the first group stage game of Europa Conference League.
The hosts are 8-2-0 in their latest games (league, cup and europe), and most of their squad was rested in the cup game against Alta in midweek. (Patrick Berg played the whole game, but he will be out with suspension here)
Valerenga had full focus on the Cup, as they will end up as a mid-table side "no matter what" this season, but a 0-3 loss at home against coach Fagermos former side Odd were far from players, staff, club and supporters ambitions.
For this already tough away game against last years champions, Valerenga will have to play without wingers Layouni and Sahraoui due to suspensions.
Odds are already dropping, and rightly so. Valerenga are a tough team to break down at their best, but in their current form, theres value in backing high flying Bodo/Glimt on Sunday.

Pick: Bodo/Glimt (-1.5 AH), 9/10 stakes, odds [email protected] Good luck!

    Sunday 26.09.2021 Brann - Kristiansund:

Brann are playing on natural grass at Brann Stadion. Kristiansund are using artificial turf at their home stadium.

    Game start 18:00 CET

Brann (3-5-11) played 1-1 draw away against Tromso last round, and won 5-0 away against 4th Division side Harstad with many players rested tonight.
For a team thats really fighting against relegation, we can see glimpse of hope now, 4 points in their last 2 games, and new interesting signing Vajebah Sakor (Mid) scored in his debut against Harstad, and will most likely get his home debut here on Sunday.
Brann are 2-3-4 in Bergen, with goal score 12-16.
Fredrik Pallesen Knudsen (Def 5/0) is suspended.

Kristiansund (11-2-6) turned 1-2 into 3-2 in the final minutes at home against Haugesund, 3 straight victories in the league, and they have the chance to really "do a Leicester", and shock the nation this season. 1-3 loss away against OBOS-Liga side KFUM Oslo in the Cup tonight, and Kristiansunds consistancy is whats troubling their title chances also in the league. Their top level, especially at home, are among the best in the league.
Kristiansund are 3-1-5 on the road, with goal score 7-14.

Brann - Kristiansund ended 1-1 in 2020. Kristiansund - Brann ended 3-2 earlier this season.

Battle between a Brann side in desperate need of points to avoid relegation, and the surprising title candidates Kristiansund, who of coarse will go for 3 points again to stay in the title race.
This could be a special match, a turnaround in many senses if Brann pulls out a victory, or another step against something special this season for Kristiansund. Goals for both sides are in the cards, and this will be a game the players will need to work 90+ to get their victory.
Out of all the misery thats been happening with Brann lately, a new possible star is emerging. 20 year old Aune Selland Heggebo (Att 11/5) is a player to notice for his natural instinct for goals. He has scored in 4 of his 5 latest Eliteserie games, and he has scored in 3 straight home games at Brann Stadion. 2 goals as a substitute in the Cup tonight.
With new signing Vajebah Sakor also showing signs of being ready to play already, Brann can make the upset in this key game.
Unibet are best in class for goalscorer bets, as they will void the bet if the player isnt in the starting XI.

Pick: Aune Selland Heggebo (Brann) to score, 9/10 stakes, odds [email protected] Good luck!

      Saturday 25.09.2021 Lillestrom - Tromso:

Lillestrom are playing on natural grass at Arasen. Tromso are using artificial turf at their home stadium.

      Game start 18:00 CET

Lillestrom (10-4-5) won 3-2 away against Odd last round, and the newly promoted side are still only 4 points from being top of the league. Incredible turnaround by the staff and players that 1 year back were fighting for promotion at not so glamourous stadiums in OBOS-Ligaen.
Lillestrom needed extra time to eliminate the tricky OBOS-Liga side Grorud 3-2 away tonight.
Lillestrom are 5-1-3 at home, with goal score 13-10.

Tromso (3-7-9) played 1-1 draw at home against Brann on Sunday, and they struggle to win these kind of close games.
The Northerners are 0-3-2 in their latest games, and they hope former key striker 32 year old Zdenek Ondrasek (Att 2/1) can help them get some rare victories, especially at home (0-4-5 so far).
Tromso are 3-3-4 on the road, with goal score 12-17.

Lillestrom - Tromso ended 3-0 in 2020. Tromso - Lillestrom ended 1-2 earlier this season.

Battle between two newly promoted teams heading different directions.
Lillestrom looked very sharp in June, July, and even though they suffered some defeats of late, they are still 3-0-2 in their latest games, and the 3-2 victory away against Odd makes them only 4 points from top side Bodo/Glimt.
Tromso played 1-1 at home against Brann, and they have actually yet to win at home this season (0-4-5)
The guests are 1-5-6 since mid June, and 0-3-2 in their latest 5 games, and Tromso will have a big task to avoid relegation.
With Ondrasek back up front, the guests may change their pattern of play though, the strong striker is the obvious target man, and will create good chances for others like against Rosenborg.
Lillestrom will only get 3 days to recover from a 120 minute Cup game here, but they will be lifted by enthusiastic supporters at Arasen, sensing a rare title race for the Canaries this season.
Thomas Lehne Olsen (Att 19/17) has scored 4 goals in his 3 last Eliteserie games, and 17 goals in his 17 latest league games. Of coarse he scored as a substitute in todays Cup game, and he scored both goals in Lillestroms 2-1 win away against Tromso in the opposite matchup.
Of coarse the Tromso defense will have their eyes on him, and the other Lillestrom attackers may come to good chance because of this, but hes very detimined to fight for Lillestrom silverware this season, and I dont see his and Lillestroms form stopping just yet.

Pick: Thomas Lehne Olsen (Lillestrom) to score, 7/10 stakes, odds [email protected]
Pick: Thomas Lehne Olsen (Lillestrom) to score 2 goals or more, 3/10 stakes, odds [email protected]

      Good luck!

        Saturday 25.09.2021 Stromsgodset - Sarpsborg 08:

Both teams are using artificial turf at their home stadiums.

        Game start 18:00 CET.

Stromsgodset (7-4-7) lost 1-2 at home against Kristiansund 10 days ago, but struck back with a impressive 5-1 victory at home against Stabak in the Cup tonight.
New signing Jordan Attah Kadiri (Att 1/0) scored a hat-trick, and the Drammen side produced chance after chance, and was clearly back in-form.
Stromsgodset are 6-2-1 at Marienlyst, with goal score 20-8 this season.

Sarpsborg 08 (5-5-9) lost 1-3 at home against Rosenborg last round, and the blue and whites have suffered 2 straight defeats in the league now. 5-0 victory against 2.Division side Oygarden in the Cup tonight.
The guests are 2-1-6 on the road, with goal score 8-18.

Stromsgodset - Sarpsborg ended 0-0 in 2020. Sarpsborg 08 - Stromsgodset ended 1-0 one month ago.

Either high scoring bonanza, or tight and defensive 0-0, 1-0 games between these sides, no in between.
With the teams latest performances in mind, both teams best chances should be the more open approach, as Sarpsborg 08s striker Fardal Opseth scored a hat trick in the Cup, and Ibrahima Kone has scored 6 goals in his 3 latest Eliteserie games.
Stromsgodset have found back to their roots, claiming Marienlyst as their fort (6-2-1) this season, and the 5-1 victory against Stabak showed promising play by new signings, as well as a home team finally playing with high self-confidence at home after some tough years.
I believe the home fans will have reason to celebrate their 7th home win of the season (of 10).

        - Stromsgodset have won 6 of 9 home games in Eliteserien, 4 of 9 are won by 2 goals or more.
        - Stromsgodset won 5-1 at home against Stabak in the Cup Wednesday.
        - Sarpsborg 08 have lost 6 of 9 away games in Eliteserien, 5 of 9 are lost by 2 goals or more.
        - Sarpsborg 08 have lost 5 straight away games in Eliteserien. (4 of them by 2 goals or more)

Pick: Stromsgodset (-1.5 AH), 9/10 stakes, odds [email protected] Good luck!

          Saturday 25.09.2021 Sandnes Ulf - Stjordals/Blink

Both teams are using artificial turf at their home stadiums.

          Game start 15:00 CET.

Sandnes Ulf (5-5-9) lost 0-1 away against promotion candidates Jerv last round. 7-1 victory away against 2.Division side Moss in the Cup yesterday, and 5-4 at home against Ranheim in their latest home game.
Sandnes Ulf are 3-2-4 at home, with goal score 15-17.

Stjordals/Blink (6-2-11) lost 0-1 away against Ranheim in the Trondheim derby last round, after a own goal in the final minutes of overtime.
The guests are 2-0-8 on the road, with goal score 9-27.
Key defender Robin Utseth Bjornholm-Jatta (Def 18/1) and Joachim Erlend Olufsen (Att 12/0) are suspended.

          Sandnes Ulf - Stjordals/Blink ended 4-1 in 2020. Stjordals/Blink - Sandnes Ulf ended 1-2 earlier this season.

Battle between two teams I believe are heading different directions.
Sandnes Ulf are suddenly producing attack after attack with confidence, and the players self-esteem have got a boost. The 5-4 victory at home against Ranheim was a sign of a team heading in the right direction. The 7-1 victory away against 2.Division side Moss may not look that surprising, but Sandnes Ulf in the time before Berntsen, could absolutely slipped in games like that.
Sure this is the "6 pointer" with a bit more at stake, but if Sandnes Ulf sticks to their offensive part, Id like to see who outscores them at Oster Hus Arena at the moment.
Stjordals/Blink had to suffer a very bitter defeat in the Trondheim derby away against Ranheim. A own goal against in the final minutes of overtime is pretty much the worst that could happen.
Two regulars also got suspended, and will be out for this game, and even though Stjordals/Blink will always be dangerous on counters with players like Stokke and Lillebo up front, I will back Berntsens good going Sandnes Ulf squad to keep their progress here.

          - Sandnes Ulf have scored 10 goals in the 3 home games in OBOS-Ligaen Bjarne Berntsen has been in charge. (and 9 goals allowed against)
          - Stjordals/Blink have lost 8 of 10 away games in OBOS-Ligaen, and 5 of them have been lost by 3 goals or more.

Pick: Sandnes Ulf (-1.5 AH), 5/10 stakes, odds [email protected]
Pick: Sandnes Ulf (-2 EH), 5/10 stakes, odds [email protected]

          Good luck!

            Saturday 25.09.2021 Aalesund - Strommen

Both teams are using artificial turf at their home stadiums.

            Game start 15:00 CET.

Aalesund (11-5-3) outclassed Asane 6-1 away in their latest OBOS-Liga game, and they have 4 straight victories in the league. They had a tough 1-1 away game against Ranheim in the Cup yesterday, and they needed 120 minutes + penalty shootout to secure the win in the end.
Aalesund are 6-3-0 at home, with goal score 24-10

Strommen (2-10-7) held top side HamKam to a 0-0 draw at home last round, and truth to be told, HamKam were lucky not to lose.
Two straight draws for they grey and reds, and they will once again fight for every point in the final end of the season to avoid relegation.
Strommen are 0-5-4 on the road, with goal score 7-12.
Marius Hagen (Mid 6/0) is suspended.

Aalesund - Strommen ended 3-1 in 2019. Strommen - Aalesund ended 0-0 one month ago.

Aalesund vs Strommen at Color Line Stadium. The one question most people will have is "how big will the winning margin for Aalesund be".
Not so fast, and trust me, I know how it is to underestimate this gritty Strommen side.
Strommen held top side HamKam to a 0-0 draw at home last round, and pretty much played like they would do away from home.
"Defense, defense, defense - and make the most of the few counters youll get".
Strommen also held Saturdays opponent Aalesund to a 0-0 draw at home one month ago.
Aalesund have in-form players like Sigurd Haugen that could score a couple even against a ultra defensive Strommen side, but Aalesund had a very tough Cup game away against Ranheim in midweek 1-1 after 90, and after 120, won in the end after penalty shootout.
They are also in the middle of a tight schedule with 2 games a week, and we may see some rotation in a game like this.

            - Aalesund have won 4 of 9 home games by 2 goals or more.
            - Strommen have kept a +1.5 HC in 8 of 9 away games this season (and in 17 of 19 OBOS-Liga games in 2021)
            - Strommen kept Aalesund to a 0-0 draw one month ago in the opposite meeting, and also top side HamKam were held to 0-0 last round.

Pick: Strommen (+1.5 AH), 9/10 stakes, odds [email protected] Good luck!

That will be my last pick for this round of Eliteserien and OBOS-Ligaen unless something special comes up. 2 Div picks may be added on Saturday. Good luck for those who follow!

                Sunday 26.09.2021 Haugesund - Odd:

Haugesund are playing on natural grass at Haugesund Stadion. Odd are using artificial turf at their home stadium.

                Game start 18:00 CET

Haugesund (8-4-7) have been on a good run of late, but they had to suffer a 3-2 defeat away against Kristiansund, after being 2-1 up midway, to see their lead go away in the final minutes.
The white and blues are 7-1-1 at home, with goal score 18-8.
Former top scorer in Eliteserien, 34 year old Alexander Soderlund (Att 4/0), has got 4 games as a sub now, and may start his first Eliteserie game after his return.

Odd (6-5-8) have struggled result wise in the league lately (0-1-3), but they gave title candidates Lillestrom a good fight in their latest league game even though they lost 2-3, much because of the insane form of Lillestrom top scorer Lehne Olsen.
Solid 3-0 win away against ambitious Valerenga in the Cup on Wednesday, and Milan Jevtovic (Mid/Att 2/0) scored and he looks to me like the exact kind of player needed for the team to take the next step in their attacking half.
The Skien side are 2-3-5 on the road, with goal score 9-22.
Flamur Kastrati (Att 5/0) is doubtful.

Haugesund - Odd ended 4-4 in 2020. (Odd - Haugesund ended 4-2 earlier this season)

If there was any doubt - Haugesund - Odd equals goals. Lots of goals.
8 goals scored between the two sides last season, 6 goals scored in Skien one month ago, and it will not stop there.
Haugesund have played well lately, and could have deserved 3 straight victories now. Wadji is gone, but Sandberg, Velde, Liseth, Stalas - the whole team are stepping up now that hes gone..and then it is the comeback of Alexander Soderlund, the former top scorer in Eliteserien, coming back to his roots in Haugesund. This could very well be the game well see him back from start, and back on the scoresheet.
Odd have also lost their star striker, as Bakenga is gone, and just like Haugesund, Odd have got players stepping up in his absense. Sander Svendsen (Mid/Att 17/5) is, together with Lillestroms Lehne Olsen, the players to watch at the moment.
Svendsen has scored 6 goals in his 4 latest games (league/cup), and Odds attack looks much improved with Svendsen and Jevtovic in their current roles. (PS! Unibet doesnt dare to offer odds on him to score while im writing this)
Sander Svendsen has scored in all his 4 latest games (league/cup), and he scored twice in his two latest games against Lillestrom and Valerenga.
This game may be another high scoring thriller at Haugesund Stadion, and one thing is for sure, both teams are in scoring form.

Pick: Sander Svendsen (Odd) to score, 6/10 stakes, odds [email protected]
Pick: Sander Svendsen (Odd) to score 2 goals or more, 4/10 stakes, odds [email protected]

                Good luck!

Info: WilliamHill offer 2.87 for Svendsen goal, and 15 for him to score 2 goals or more. I like WilliamHills 4.60 for Milan Jevtovic to score as well. If this game gets open, he can carry on the good form again.

                    Saturday Results:

                    Aalesund - Strommen 3-2 (Strommen +1.5 EH)
                    Sandnes Ulf - Stjordals/Blink 2-1 (Sandnes Ulf -2 EH)
Lillestrom - Tromso 1-2 (Lehne Olsen x1, x2) - Lehne Olsen scored one goal.
                    Stromsgodset - Sarpsborg 08 5-0 (Stromsgodset -1.5 AH)

Very good start of the weekend, +32.42 Units tonight, and we can head into Sunday with profit secured before our high risk bets tomorrow.

Odds nr. 29 Sander Svendsen will start. Flamur Kastrati was doubtful, but will lead Odds attack tonight. Soderlund will start on the bench for the hosts.

Branns nr. 20 Aune Selland Heggebo will also start the game against Kristiansund.

Haugesund - Odd 1-3 Sander Svendsen (to score x1, x2) - Svendsen scored one goal.
Brann - Kristiansund 3-1 (Aune Selland Heggebo to score)
                        Bodo/Glimt - Volerenga 1-0 (Bodo/Glimt -1.5 AH)

Sander Svendsen and Odd are on fire lately, and 4 goals in the "always" open battle between these sides.
Selland Heggebo had a great double chance who ended up in the 1-0 own goal for Brann, and played a key part to Branns victory. No goal this time though.
Bodo/Glimt werent at their best today, but won a deserved 1-0 win. The ref wasnt at his best, and VAR should be added to the league.

-4 Units overall today, and we ended on +140 Units in Sept
