    Sunday 16.08.2020 Haugesund - Stromsgodset:

Haugesund are using natural grass at Haugesund Stadion. Stromsgodset are using artificial turf at their home stadium.

    Max amount of spectators: 200

    Game start: 18:00 CET

Haugesund (4-3-6) played 0-1 away against Mjondalen last round, but won their last home game 3-1 against Stabak.
The white and blues are 3-1-3 at home, with goal score 8-10.
Benjamin Kallman (Att 10/0) has been released from his loan contract.
Joakim Vage Nilsen (Def/Mid 9/0) and Kevin Krygard (Mid 12/0) are expected out.
Bruno Leite (Mid/Att 8/0) and Ibrahima Wadji (Att 3/0) are expected to be back here.

    ----------------------------------------------------------------------

Stromsgodset (4-3-6) were all smiles in the opening games, as the team managed to win the tight and even games they tended to lose in the 2019 season. Now 4 of their last 5 games are lost, and they have 4 straight defeats on the road.
The Drammen side are 1-1-4 on the road, with goal score 7-14.
Jonathan Parr (Def 4/0), Duplexe Tchamba (Def 0/0), Prosper Mendy (Def 0/0) and Herman Stengel (Def/Mid 6/1) are out.
Key center back Niklas Gunnarsson (Def 13/0) is suspended.

    Haugesund - Stromsgodset ended 2-2 in 2019.

Battle between two mid-table sides that may end up in the relegation zone, and both teams will most likely focus on claiming most of their points at home.
Haugesund lost 0-1 away agianst Mjondalen last round, but they have two straight victories at home, and one by one their key players are coming back from injuries. Leite and Wadji are expected back here, Stolas is close to full match fitness after long term injury, and Velde scored 3 goals last home game.
Stromsgodset somehow lost at home against Sandefjord (3-4) last round after a overtime goal against, but they fought well against Bodo Glimt in their last away game.

    - Haugesunds home games often includes penalty goals, 4 penalty goals in 7 Eliteserie games at Haugesund Stadion so far.
    - 2 penalty goals were scored in Stromsgodsets last game against Sandefjord, and its been scored 3 penalty goals in Stromsgodsets 6 away games so far.
    - At least one penalty goal was scored in both meetings between these sides in Eliteserien 2019.

I believe Haugesund will go for another victory here, but Stromsgodset have scored 8 goals in their 3 latest games, and can surely create trouble again.

    Pick:

Haugesund to score a penalty goal - Yes, 5/10 stakes, odds [email protected]
Penalty given - Yes, 3/10 stakes, odds [email protected] Hill.
Stromsgodset to score a penalty goal - Yes, 2/10 stakes, odds [email protected]

    Good luck!

      Results Sunday:

      Haugesund - Stromsgodset 2-3 (Penalty home/away) Lost.
Rosenborg - Aalesund 3-2 (2nd half: Rosenborg -1 EH) Lost.

Stromsgodset with a early lead away against Haugesund, and the game didnt really open up until the final 10 minutes, when 4 goals were scored, and Stromsgodsets attacker Salvesen had to play center back due to injuries. We could have got our pen as there was a clear hands situation in the Stromsgodset box, but the ref didnt make the call, as the hand wasnt active enough..

In Rosenborg - Stromsgodset most of the action happend before the break this time, 3-1 after first half including penalty goal. Rosenborg tried to close the game from halfway into 2nd half, and allowed Aalesund back into the game, but managed to win 3-2 in the end.

      Very disppointing Sunday.

Mightye, Ranheim to score over 1.5 ? They are playing fantastic upfront, scoring for fun. Have many options who can score. Sogndal have talented team but seems they are much better upfront than in defense (despite keeping clean sheet against Lillestrom). Think they can have big problems against Ranheim

        Comment

absolutely mij0sim, Ranheim can score against any side at the moment, Sogndal at their best is very solid defensivly, but youll never know how they will perform these days.

Info: Bottom side HamKam have signed former Start, Aalesund, Valerenga coach Kjetil Rekdal this weekend, and he will have his first game as HamKam coach against Grorud tonight.

            from POD...
            my two cents

            Ham-Kam - Grorud
            Pick:1
            Odds: [email protected]

I base my bet on my humble observation that small teams tend to get complacent after a big win. And here we have Grorud newly promoted from Div 2 and they just beat Tromso who had 8 wins from 8 games before meeting their "Nemesis".

Ham-Kam on the other side, are an OBOS-team who finished in the middle of the table in the previous 2 seasons (9th and 10th). They started awful, which resulted in them hitting rock bottom on the table. As a consequence, they changed the manager, and we might count on the new broom effect as well (Rekdal worked with Eliteserien teams before). Ham-Kam were winning 2-0 until the 87th minute of the game against Asane (currently 5th) last round, but in the end they had to settle with one point.

Ham-Kam usually collect their points at home, but this season they only managed 1 point from 4 games. It has to change and I think it is a good spot to do that with a new experienced trainer against Grorud today.

Tuesday 18.08.2020 KFUM Oslo - Kongsvinger:

Both teams are using artificial turf at their home stadiums

              Max amount of spectators: 200

              Game start: 19:00 CET

KFUM Oslo (3-3-3) lost 1-3 away against Sandnes Ulf last round, and they have now lost twice in a row since first choice goalkeeper Simon Thomas (Kee 7/0) got injured in 1st half against Lillestrom.
KFUM Oslo are 3-1-1 at home, with goal score 9-5.
Simon Thomas (Kee 7/0), Stian Sortevik (Mid 5/0) and Daniel Fredheim Holm (Mid/Att 3/0) have been out lately.

              -----------------------------------------------------------------

Kongsvinger (2-2-5) won 2-1 at home against Strommen last round, and the red and whites are undefeated in their last 3 games.
Kongsvinger are 1-1-5 on the road, with goal score 8-13.
First choice goalkeeper Saku-Pekka Sahlgren (Kee 3/0) may be out for the rest of the season.
Christian Roer (Def 7/1) is suspended.

KFUM Oslo - Kongsvinger ended 0-1 in 2019. (KFUM Oslo - Kongsvinger ended 2-0 at neutral pitch during the playoffs in 2019)

OBOS-Liga battle between two sides who normally play close even games against each other. Kongsvinger have won 3 of 5 (3-1-1) games against KFUM Oslo (home/away) since 2016 though, and KFUM Oslos only win against Kongsvinger came at neutral pitch (Intility Arena, Valerengas home stadium) in the playoffs last season.
Both teams have played their latest games with their first choice goalkeepers out. Its not clear if Simon Thomas will be back for the hosts, but their reserve goalkeeper Pedersen have allowed 5 goals against in 1,5 game now, and Kongsvingers chances to get something from this game increases if Thomas is out.
Also Kongsvinger are using a backup goalkeeper, but Smedplass has made 8 appearances, and looks much more comfortable in his role now.

              - Kongsvinger have scored 2 goals or more in 3 of 5 away games in OBOS-Ligaen 2020.
              - KFUM Oslo have only allowed 2 goals or more against at home in 1 of 5 home games so far, but the hosts have allowed 2 goals or more against in their 3 latest league games (home/away).

              Picks:

              - Kongsvinger to score Over 1.5 goals, 7/10 stakes, odds [email protected] Hill.
              - Kongsvinger to score Over 2.5 goals, 3/10 stakes, odds [email protected]

              Good luck!

Saturday 22.08.2020 Bodo Glimt - Start:

Both teams are using artificial turf at their home stadiums

                Max amount of spectators: 200

                Game start: 18:00 CET

Top side Bodo Glimt (12-2-0) have started to look more like a "normal" Eliteserie side lately, that have good and bad days, but they are still claiming points, and they are undefeated 14 games into the season! 2-1 victory away against tricky home side Sandefjord last round.
The hosts are 6-0-0 at home, with goal socre 21-6.
Top scorer in Eliteserien, Kasper Junker (Att 12/11), is most likely out.

                -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Newly promoted Start (2-6-7) claimed their 2nd win of the season in overtime at home against Valerenga last round (2-1), and the Kristiansand side can claim the points needed to survive in Eliteserien at Sor Arena this season.
Start are 0-2-5 on the road though, with goal score 7-16.

Bodo Glimt - Start ended 1-2 in 2018.

Bodo Glimt have slowed a bit down compared to earlier in the season, but the top side are still winning games and have a 7 point lead, with one game less played than Molde at 2nd, as we reach halfway into the season.
Start have shaped up after a tough start, and finally started winning games, but both games are won at home.
Bodo Glimt will miss the top scorer in Eliteserien, Kasper Junker (Att 12/11) up front here, and that will be a clear minus. Victor Boniface (Att 14/3) has the talent to score as well on a good day, but he has only got 2 games from start this season.
My pick will be for Bodo Glimts star talent Jens Petter Hauge (Att 13/8) to score. 8 goals in 13 Eliteserie games talks for itself, he has scored in 5 of his 7 latest Eliteserie games, and in 4 of 5 games at home at Aspmyra.
Unibet offer as low as 1.66 for the in-form attacker to score, Expekt offer close under 2.00, William Hill offer 2.00, while Betsafe/Nordicbet offer 2.10 as I write this.
Start have improved lately, but Zinckernagel/Hauge among many other will prove very hard to stop in front of goal again.

                Pick:

Jens Petter Hauge (Bodo Glimt) to score - 9/10 stakes, odds [email protected] Good luck!

                  Hey, Mightye,

                  Big thanks for the picks!

It looks like today is a good spot to lay Molde against Odd. Odd are on a good run while Molde are in the middle of the CL qualies, plus they lost their last two games in the championship. This should take its toll on them.
I am thinking to take X2. H2H supports it, as Molde won only once in the last 5 clashes.
                  Any thoughts?

                  Thanks!

Hard to predict this one. I can confirm that key playmaker Eikrem will start, Leke James will be todays striker up front.

                      Saturday 22.08.2020 Valerenga - Sandefjord:

Valerenga are using artificial turf at Intility Arena. Sandefjord are using natural grass at their home stadium.

                      Max amount of spectators: 200

                      Game start: 18:00 CET

Valerenga (6-5-3) lost 1-2 away against Start after a overtime goal against, and the Oslo side have all their 3 defeats away from home this far.
Valerenga are 3-3-0 at home, with goal score 11-7.

                      -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Newly promoted Sandefjord (5-1-8) lost at home against top side Bodo Glimt (1-2) last round, but the blue and whites have impressed overall in Eliteserien 2020.
Their away games have often involved many goals, 2-0-5, with goal score 9-16.
Marc Vales (Def 11/1) is suspended.

                      Valerenga - Sandefjord ended 2-2 in 2018.

Meeting between a undefeated home side, and a newly promoted side that often play with high risk on the road.
Valerengas many talents are struggling to dominate their games at home, but they have increased the amount chances at home, as a result of in-form creative players like Donnum and Sahraoui in the final third.
Sandefjord have succeeded in making big surprises at home lately, and they have claimed 3 points twice on the road as well. Their away tactics can look very ambitious, and 5 of 7 away games are lost. 4-3 win away against Stromsgodset in their last away game though, and penalty goal scored for both sides in that game.

                      - Valerenga have scored 2 goals or more in 5 of 6 home games so far.
                      - Sandefjord have allowed 2 goals against in 6 of 7 away games so far.
                      - Its been scored 4 penalty goals in Sandefjords 7 away games so far.

                      Pick:

                      - Valerenga to score a penalty goal - Yes, 6/10 stakes, odds [email protected]
                      - Sandefjord to score a penalty goal - Yes, 4/10 stakes, odds [email protected]

                      Good luck!

                        Saturday 22.08.2020 Stromsgodset - Viking:

Both teams are using artificial turf at their home stadiums

                        Max amount of spectators: 200

                        Game start: 18:00 CET

Stromsgodset (5-3-6) impressed as they claimed 3 points away against Haugesund last round (3-2). 5 goals or more in their 3 latest games, and the Drammen side are fighting to the very end in all their games.
Stromsgodset are 3-2-2 at home, with goal score 12-13.
Ari Leifsson (Def 7/0), Ipalibo Jack (Mid 13/0) and Kristoffer Tokstad (Mid/Att 13/1) did all get injured against Haugesund, and are doubtful here.

                        -----------------------------------------------------------------------------

Viking (3-4-7) turned the game from being 0-2 under, to being 3-2 in front at home against Stabak last round, but the Stavanger side had to settle with a 3-3 draw in the end. The Stavanger side have allowed 2 goals or more against in their last 4 games, and its very likely we will see goals for and against also tonight.
Viking are 1-2-4 on the road, with goal score 6-16.

                        Stromsgodset - Viking ended 0-0 in 2019.

The highly unlikely result of 0-0 actually happend between these sides last year, both sides are capable of scoring many goals in open games, and this can be close and a thrill to watch if this opens up.
Stromsgodset have fought well, and got paid off by a teamwork 3 pointer away against Haugesund last round (3-2). Viking did also do a great team effort to turn the game from being 0-2 under against Stabak, to make it 3-3 in the end.
Vikings striker Veton Berisha (Att 14/7) has been on fire lately, 5 goals in his 3 last games, and he has scored penalty goals in his two latest games.

                        - Its been scored 4 penalty goals in Stromsgodsets 7 home games so far.
                        - Its been scored 3 penalty goals in Vikings 2 latest games.

Hopefully open game with lots of chances for both sides, then we may be in for a treat at Marienlyst tonight.

                        Pick:

                        - Stromsgodset to score a penalty goal - Yes, 5/10 stakes, odds [email protected]
                        - Viking to score a penalty goal - Yes, 5/10 stakes, odds [email protected]

                        Good luck!
