Monday 03.08.2020 Sandnes Ulf - Ranheim:

Both teams are using artificial turf at their home stadiums.

    Max amount of spectators: 200

    Game start: 18:00 CET

Sandnes Ulf (3-2-1) impressed a lot, and were on a 5 game game non-losing streak (3-2-0) in front of the away game against Strommen on Friday. 0-4 loss against one of the bottom sides was a big blow though, and the lightblue and whites will be eager to egt back on the winning track at home.
Sandnes Ulf are 2-1-0 at home, with goal score 7-5.

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------

Promotion candidates Ranheim (5-0-1) were 0-1 down against Kongsvinger at home after first half, but once again showed their class as they scored 3 goals to claim the victory in 2nd half.
Ranheim are 3-0-0 on the road, with goal socre 10-5.

Sandnes Ulf - Ranheim ended 2-0 in 2017.

Interesting battle between two teams who fights for promotion/playoff spots this season.
Sandnes Ulf have impressed so far this season, and they seem to adapted well to their new home stadium with artificial turf.
0-4 loss against Strommen in their last game though, and Ranheim will surely create trouble for their defense tonight.

    - Ranheim have won all 3 away games so far
    - Ranheims top scorer Ivar Sollie Ronning (Att 6/5) has scored 4 goals in 3 away games.
    - Ranheim have scored 3 goals or more in 5 of 6 OBOS-Liga games this season.

I like the chance for goals here, Kent Havard Eriksen and Sandnes Ulf can always score at home, they also have Magnus Grodem that have been solid on set-pieces.
Ranheim claimed another key victory against Kongsvinger (3-2), even though key players Sollie Ronning and Tonne were rested after 55 mins on Friday.
I like the chances for Sollie Ronning to score in his 4th straight away game, use Unibet as youll get money back if hes not in the starting XI.

    Pick:

Ivar Sollie Ronning (Ranheim) to score - Yes, 9/10 stakes, odds [email protected] Good luck!

I am not feeling good for Ranheim today. They have won three away matches and conceded 3 goals against a defensively weak HamKam makes me sweat. Sandnes Ulf performs decent at home and their away loss at Strommen cannot be related to this match. I think Sandnes Ulf Will stay undefeated or maybe I am wrong if Ranheim are so much powerful this season. The three teams they played away, Stjordals leaking goals, Asane not good at home but plays well away (strange considering their past) and Hamkam the pathetic needing some defenders. This match is going to be the first real test of Ranheim's mettle this season and I feel they would struggle. Anyway I see the 1.8 odds too low for Ranheim victory . Maybe I am wrong, mightye might know better. Dear mijosim, please don't blame me if my post made you not to bet on Ranheim, this is just my inner feeling about this game.

i think youre right vinodkv, normally a very open game, and hopefully goals and chances for both sides. Both teams played on Friday + Monday/Tuesday last week, and the tough schedule could do bigger difference than in Eliteserien, due to thinner squads. Sandnes Ulf lost 0-4 away against Strommen on Friday, and hard to tell if fatigue got to them, or just a bad day.

Monday 03.08.2020 Stjordals Blink - Jerv:

Stjordals Blink are using artificial turf at MUS Stadion Sandskogan. Jerv are using natural grass at their home stadium.

          Max amount of spectators: 200

          Game start: 18:00 CET

Newly promoted Stjordals Blink (3-0-3) gave promotion favorites Tromso a scare by taking the lead 2-1 away at HT last round, but ended up losing 2-4 in the end.
Stjordals Blink are 2-0-1 at home, with goal score 9-6.
Sander Erik Kartum (Mid 6/1) is suspended.

          --------------------------------------------------------------

Jerv (2-3-1) claimed a 2-2 draw at home against promotion candidates Lillestrom last round, and the Grimstad side are undefeated in 5 straight games now (2-3-0).
Jerv are 1-1-1 on the road, with goal score 6-4.

          No recent mutual games.

Newly promoted Stjordals Blink have done really well since their promotion to OBOS-Ligaen, and players like Stokke (Att 6/3) and Lillebo (Att 6/4) have adapted to this level in no time. Lillebo scored twice, but played the entire away game against Tromso on Friday, and regular midfielder Kartum (Mid 6/1) is suspended.
Jerv played even against Lillestrom at home last round (2-2), and they are on a 5 game non-losing streak (2-3-0).
Jervs top scorer Diego Campos (Att 5/4) has scored 4 goals in 5 games, and will have a benefit here, as he was rested last round due to suspension.
Jerv have scored 2 goals or more in 5 straight games, and believe we will see a couple of goals from the yellow and blues tonight as well.

          Pick:

Diego Campos (Jerv) to score - Yes, 7/10 stakes, odds [email protected]
Diego Campos (Jerv) to score 2 goals or more - Yes, 3/10 stakes, odds [email protected]

          Good luck!

Always good to hear second opinion
Well, in my book (which doesnt mean i im right), Sandnes are not that strong in defense. They did concede in most matches.
Yes its tough when teams play every 3 days to guess how will play. I will still think about this match. But i think Ranheim should have good chance here.

              Mijosim,

Just look at Ranheim, they also conceded more number of goals than Sandnes Ulf did. As you said, Ranheim are huge favorites to win this game considering their superior squad and Eliteserien pedegree, but for me Odds of 1.8 away from home are not convincing, especially when playing an opponent like Sandnes Ulf whom gave Sogndal a run for their money But as it stands Ranheim are huge favorites to win according to bookies, i am bit skeptic to take them today. Maybe I am wrong too. Cheers mate

I am considering Ranheim to score over 1.5. Odds went down a bit tough. Main reason is i dont trust their defense. Also Sandnes have Havard Eriksen and Sanel Kapidzic upfron. With Grodem scoring for fun i im not sure they will win. Maybe 2 2 or 3 3 result ?

                  Results Monday:

                  Grorud - Ullensaker/Kisa 3-1 (Garnas and/or Sundli to score) - Loss
Raufoss - Strommen 1-1 (Tega George to score) - Loss
Sandnes Ulf - Ranheim 2-1 (Ivar Sollie Ronning to score) Loss
Stjordals Blink - Jerv 2-2 (Diego Campos to score x1, x2) Loss.

Tega George (odds 12 to score) had a huge chance one on one against Raufoss goalkeeper in 1st half, but blew it.
Diego Campos did a decent penalty shot against Stjordals Blink, but even better saved by the home side goalkeeper. He scored on a good header close to the end, but it was disallowed due to offside before.
Many set-pieces situations for Ull Kisa, but the serves were not up to the standards we know they can, and that Garnas/Sundli and the rest needed to score.
Sollie Ronning didnt get to many chances, and was substituted early in 2nd half.

Very close on Tega George, and Campos deserved one, and could have got 2 if penalty scored and no offside in the play he scored on, but like yesterday, close doesnt help much.
To add some extra salt to the wound, Stjordals Blinks Mats Lillebo scored twice again, and he has scored 2 times in 2 games in row when I havent made goalscorer bets on him..time for a break!

I took BTTS and over 2.5 in the end in Sandnes Ranheim. A bit lucky but i i dont mind

Mightye unlucky with goalscorer bets. Really at least one of them should have scored.
What do you think about Lillestrom generally ? Their squad is by far the best in league IMO but reeults are horific. Maybe its time to shine tomorrow? I am not that impressed with Sogndal. Strong start but not good last few matches.

                      good call mij0sim!

Well, Lillestrom..they were unlucky away against Jerv last round, not to score more goals, and Thomas Lehne Olsen can break out as a top scorer this season (and he was the big favorite to be so, before the season started), but right now the fact is that he has scored 0 goals in 6 games, and its not been a lack of chances. Typical jinx, that may result in 2 goals for him tomorrow. Lillestrom are 0-2-2 in their latest games, and two defeats against newly promoted sides, that were two levels apart last season. 0-1 against newly promoted Stjordals Blink in their last home game.

It sure looked like all Sogndals talents were about to have their big breakout season at once in their opening games. Now its hard to pinpoint where Sogndal really stands.

If Lillestrom are to bounce back this season, this is their shot. No bets for me.

                        Thanks mate.

With team and coach they have, Lillestrom really should be no1 team this season. Dont know about Geir Bakke position but its itt pleasant i am sure. Have some gut feeling they can win this one with larger margin (still facts says opossite). I am not impressed with Sogndal i must say. To many young players. They are talented no doubt but like many young players have ups and downs. So this kind of season is normal if you ask me. Playoff position should be theirs. Than everything is possible.

Odds going down on Songdal and interesting thing is that they have 4.7 goals per game on the road so Lillestrom over 1,5 despite they score just two goals in two games but Songdal is perfect candidate for goals here ....

Well i am not impressed with Lillestrom at all. Ok Sogndal keeper had 2or 3 great saves but most of the match home team played without any idea how to score goal(s).

                                Wednesday 05.08.2020 Molde - Start:

Both teams are using artificial turf at their home stadiums.

                                Max amount of spectators: 200

                                Game start: 19:00 CET

The reigning champions Molde (9-1-2) decided to rest a lot of their regulars, and used the talented width of their squad away against newly promoted Sandefjord last round. That ended with a 1-2 loss, and now the blue and whties are 6 points behind top side Bodo Glimt as were close to halfway into the season.
Molde are 5-0-0 at home, with goal score 16-3.
Key defender Martin Bjornbak (Def 11/0) got injured against Sandefjord, and will most likely be rested here.
Stian Gregersen (Def 3/1) and Kristoffer Haraldseid (Def 0/0) are also out.
Fredrik Sjolstad (Def/Mid 6/0) is suspended.
Key playmaker Magnus Wolff Eikrem (Mid/Att 11/2) and Mathis Bolly (Mid/Att 0/0) are doubtful.

                                -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Newly promoted Start (1-6-5) could celebrate their first victory of the season, as they defeated another relegation candidate Mjondalen 3-0 at home last round.
The Kristiansand side are 0-2-3 on the road, with goal score 5-8.
                                Henrik Gjesdal (Def) is out.
Afeez Aremu (Mid 4/0) and top scorer Mathias Bringaker (Att 11/4) are doubtful.

                                Molde - Start ended 3-1 in 2018.

The reigning champions have lost 2 of their 3 latest games, and all alarms are off at Aker Stadion at the moment. Molde have two straight home games to make up for this now, and since they have most of their defense line out, Molde will have to trust their offense to outscore their opponents. That shouldnt be a problem at home, 16 goals in 5 games, and all 5 home games are won so far.
Molde have two of the best attackers to choose from up front in Leke James and Ohi Omaijuanfo, and the entire midfield/attack are possible goalscorers.
Start finally got awarded with 3 points, as they defeated Mjondalen 3-0 at home last round. The yellow and blacks have been very unlucky in a couple of games prior to that, and that victory may give the hard working youngsters a boost. Winning away against Molde may be too too soon though.
Ill go for a high line for Molde goals today.

                                Pick:

Team goals: Molde Over 3.5 goals - Yes, 9/10 stakes, odds [email protected] Good luck!
