    Denmark Preseason 2020

Esbjerg - Kolding will play today on neutral venue in Tj?reborg few miles from Esbjerg on artificial turf. Esbjerg have not been in good form in the season but maybe a restart will give them some much needed new energy, they still have some quality and their relative new coach will have more time now to get to know his team better. Important missings for this first testgame: Regular right back Daniel Anyembe, Key defender Rodolph Austin, Key mid Jacob Lungi S?rensen and regular attacker Mohammed Dauda are all out for today. Whole squad will get time on the pitch and few young talents will be played aswell.

Kolding have been a very positive accuintance in the Nordicbet liga but still fired their coach. A young, very talented new coach have arrived but came in December when the first part of the season had ended, so no counting games yet for him. Unfortunately I don't have teamnews for Kolding so will have to go with the assumption that they're at full strength. There will be some players "out of position" according to the coach and like with Esbjerg I expect many players to be played.

I thought about over 2.5 but I think 1.5 is too low so instead will give a try on Esbjerg win @ 2.1 Bet365 as I believe those are good odds. It's a risky pick though, Kolding are a very good team and both teams current strength is difficult to access so naturally only small stakes. GL

I can also mention that Esbjerg will have their former winger Adnane Tighadouini with in todays game. It should be a boost as he's a skillful player. His current playing form is an unknown but I read that he's fitter than when he arrived last time in Esbjerg so my hope is he can be useful here.

Well, Esbjerg didn't live up to my expectations, went up 2-0 quite early but from on things went wrong. lost 4-3, defensively they certainly have some work to do. Sorry guys.

S?nderjyskE - Horsens will play tomorrow early afternoon in Haderslev where S?nderjyskE resides but on other pitch an artificial one. S?nderjyskE had big expectations when signing with Glen Riddersholm that made FCM champions some years ago and was brought in to change the playing style to a more offensive possession oriented style of play. It hasn't worked and as a result of being in relegation danger Glen Riddersholm have proclamed that the evolution of the style of play has stopped for the time being and results are put first. They have signed old then captain central defender Pierre Kanstrup who has been playing in Turkey before going to V?lerenga where his contract had ended. It looks like a good signing as now captain Marc Pedersen and fellow central defender Patrick Banggaard are both injured. Few players have left most notable mid/offensive player Marco Rojas whereas it's known that attacker Mart Lieder will leave the club for OB when his contract expires in the summer. In this testgame Glen Riddersholm will field almost 2 different teams for each half and 2 different formations., Goalie Sebastian Mielitz will get the whole game as the only one.

Horsens have done okay so far this season, although for some time it didn't look good but the last 4 homegames ended with 4 wins and that made the difference into making it a success so far. They're 3 points ahead of tomorrows opponent and they beat them 2-1 at home in the last game of the year. Last 2 meetings in Haderslev have ended 0-0. Horsens have signed young defenderMagnus Riisgaard Jensen from 1st Division side Skive where he was a key piece. Attacker Oliver Drost and mid Jonas Gemmer are back at the club but only Gemmer are on contract with Horsens. For this game coach Bo Henriksen has stated that all players will play a part. I've not read anything about any injuries so I assume Horsens can field their best players.

I'll be going on S?nderjyskE DNB @ 1.72 Bet365 in this one as I believe it's a good price on what I consider to be quite clearly the better side. S?nderjyskE certainly have more quality than their results so far would indicate imo. They need to show it though. Horsens doesn't really have any classy attackers and therefore it's a bit difficult to see them winning this game imo. Offensive players Louka Prip especially and Hallur Hansson with their tecnique, Rune Frantsen with his speed and Simon Ayo Okosun with his aerial/physical presence they can all pose a danger but I don't see it being enough here. I see this as a probable lowscoring game and it if I was bolder I'd say theres some value in under 2.5 @ 2.5. However it being a test game I think I'll stick to the home win, and again it's only worth some small stakes. GL

Lyngby are going to Germany tomorrow to play against Hansa Rostock from 3. Bundesliga in their first testgame. The germans have already played 3 testgames as they have faced Grasshopper (1-1), Z?rich (2-1) and Eskisirspor (3-0) on their training camp in Belek, Turkey.

Lyngby have done very well as a promoter in the Superliga, especially at home they have been solid and they were undefeated in the last 5 games of the year. They have a lot of talent but their 2 best offensive guys, topscorer Frederik Gytkj?r and Rezan Corlu have scored just 5 and 4 goals respectively. That's not a lot but Gytkj?r is excused as he's been out for some time, he will still need time to get back to full fitness and I don't know if he will even play a part against Hansa. Also Rezan Corlu are on a season long loan from Br?ndby to Lyngby but have stated that he wish to leave for Br?ndby already in this transfer window. It's at the moment unsure if that is going to happen. Emil Nielsen is another profile in offense, he has 1 goal so far. He was scoreless for a long time but eventually scored his first goal and that was a relief for him and will have given him a boost.

I don't know Hansa at all but I'm tempted to for their win @ 2.3 Bet365. Despite only being a 3. Bundesliga team I could see them as the best team here and playing already their 4th game, could give them the edge.

If there's anybody who knows something about Hansa, please give your insight it would be a big help!

Lyngby have btw signed 3 new players so far: Central defender Pascal Gregor, Mid and former player in Lyngby Mathias Hebo Rasmussen and young attacker Magnus Warming.

No one have left them yet.

Lyngby have just about every player ready for Hansa, Frederik Gytkj?r is there and the 3 new signings too. Mid/defender Martin ?rnskov is out still injured, attacker Andre Riel and mid Emilio Simonsen are also not in the squad don't know why. I'm going on Hansa but with very small stakes.

FCM - Esbjerg is played tomorrow on Ikast stadium not far from Herning. FCM are ofc the leaders of the Superliga and therefore have had a very good season even though they lost the last game at home to AGF. They have lost offensive player Emiliano Marcondes who was on loan from Brentford but instead brought in 2 other very good players in offensive players Anders Dreyer and Lasse Vibe. FCM have named the squad for tomorrow and the new signings along with 4 U19 talents are among them. Key defensive mid Frank Onyeka is not there but most of the other important ones are there.

Esbjerg have played 1 game already, which is mentioned already in this thread! Back for this game are key defender Rodolph Austin, key mid Jacob Lungi S?rensen and regular attacker Mohammed Dauda. Key left back Jesper Lauridsen is new missing as Esbjerg have swopped left backs with Randers, so instead of Lauridsen they get their former player Kevin Conboy back from Randers. Conboy isn't named in the squad however.

This could look like a "home" win but @ 1.33 and considering that FCM have not named an absolute full strength squad that is certainly not attractive. I like the look of @ 1.57 Bet365 for over 2.5 however I believe FCM can score a couple here at least and Esbjerg should have enough quality to score too. I fancy it enough to go with small/medium stakes. GL

AGF - AaB Tuesday in Aarhus on artificial pitch. AGF have played 1 game so far, winning on the same pitch 2-1 against Viborg from 1. Division. 2 different teams for each half were played and therefore many youngsters played (In the 2nd half). I don't know if this time will be the exact same approach but I count on a bunch of young reserves with few U19 talents getting som time on the pitch again. Australian reserves Alex Gersbach and Zachary Duncan are abcent as they are away on international duty. AGF have not brought in any players yet this window and no notable ones have left them.

AaB will play their first testgame here and they have named a good squad, ofc some young talents will be tried too and 1 trialplayer. Few missings most notably absolute biggest profile Lucas Andersen is not playing. AaB have seen a couple of talents moved up into the 1st team squad but nothing else.

AGF are a stronger team than AaB but not by a lot. AGF won 3-0 at home earlier in the season but I expect a much tighter result this time. AaB might be especially motivated because of that clear loss and I don't think it's a disadvantage that this is played on an artificial pitch as AaB are the more technical side. AGF are favs obviously and AaB are weakened with the abcense of their offensive key player, but still @ 2.1 I'm certainly not interested. Instead I'll go for the draw @ 3.6 and AaB DNB @ 2.1 Bet365, both with small stakes. GL

OB - Helsingborg is played wednesday on OB's artificial pitch. OB will play their 2nd testgame after beating Middelfart from the 2. Division 3-0 at home. They have signed with young attacker Mikkel Hyllegaard, defender former OB player Kasper Larsen and mid Aron Elis Thrandarson while having sold important defender Ramon Leeuwin. OB have named a strong squad for this game, few missings, most notably key defensive mid Janus Drachmann.

Helsingborg I don't know that much about but they will play their 1st testgame here. They ended 10th last season in the Allsvenskan and were quite poor away from home where they managed just 2 wins.

OB are solid at home and are a strong team in the Danish Superliga. I know some of the players in Helsingborg so I have an idea of their level. I favor OB for this meeting and I think it can be a factor with the Swedish vinterbreak being much longer than the Danish one. For me OB won't lose this and I 'll go for OB DNB @ 1.57 Bet365 with small/medium stakes. GL

FCN - AGF is played friday in Farum on their usual stadium with artificial surface. FCN will play their 1st testgame here after the team have been in Ghana on a training camp and they will play 2 different teams for each half. Thers's a few missing, most notably important defender Kian Hansen but otherwise most of the squad will play. They have sold attacker Godsway Donyoh otherwise no changes to the squad so far.

AGF will play their 3rd game after losing on tuesday at home to AaB by 0-2. Below par performance according to coach David Nielsen so expect them to be motivated to do better against FCN. They will be without offensive key players Mustapha Bundu, Jon Dagur Thorsteinsson and Mustafa Amini which are rather significant losses.

AGF won the 2 mutual meetings, 3-1 at home and 1-0 in Farum so they will feel they have the upper hand against FCN. However I will go for the home side anyway because I see a lot of offensive talent in their side and as I expect them to be motivated too due to those defeats.

I believe there's some value in the odds for FCN, I'll be a bit careful though and take them [email protected] 1.5 Bet365 with small/medium stakes. GL

Fredericia Esbjerg is played early friday on an artificial surface. Fredericia will play their 2nd testgame after playing 2-2 at home with Randers. They're a team with especially a very good offense, they may have scored more goals away from home but on the other hand they concede more goals at home.

Esbjerg are playing their 3rd game after losing to Kolding 3-4 at home and then 1-4 away to league leaders FCM. New signings (Loan deals) defender from Malm? Franz Brorsson and attacker Ante Erceg from Br?ndby are both named in the squad. Other signing for the defense S?ren Reese won't play, also attacker Mohammed Dauda, and right back Daniel Anyembe are out.

Brorsson could prove a very solid signing as Esbjerg definitely need some new blood to their fragile defense. However I don't think that he can shore up the defense enough for Esbjerg to keep a cleansheet. Offensively they should be alright and I believe they can score a couple. Over 2.5 @ 1.6 Bet365 for me here with small/medium stakes. GL

Esbjerg's starting line up for tomorrow: Jeppe H?jbjerg, Jeppe Brinch, Franz Brorsson, Rodolph Austin, Kevin Conboy ***8211; Pyry Soiri, Jacob ***8221;Lungi***8221; S?rensen, Lasha Parunashvili, Mathias Kristensen ***8211; Mads Larsen ***8211; Adrian Petre

Unfortunately for my over pick attacker Yuri Yakovenko is now reported injured after initially being named in the squad while very important mid Joni Kauko doesn't start as he's been ill. As a result I can't recommend the over 2.5 anymore, just hope we'll see some goals anyway, it's possible so fingers crossed.

Disappointed with FCN, losing 4-5, seems like some terrible defensive play..

Short comment on Fremad Amager - HB K?ge played tomorrow. Looks like a tight game with low amount of goals maybe, these 2 played in amager in the last game of the year where it ended 1-1, after HB K?ge earlier had won 3-1 at home. Both clubs have played 1 testgame already both against 2nd DIvision opposition, Fremad played 2-2 away to strong Helsing?r while HB K?ge played Holb?k winning 1-0 at home.

Similar quality teams but I favor slightly Fremad playing at home and I don't think they'll lose, so going for a home win DNB @ 1.8 Bet365 with medium stakes. GL

Hobro - Horsens will play monday in Hobro but on an artificial surface. Hobro have been a solid team in the league, but have only mustered 2 wins and a lot of draws (11)! So a difficult team to beat! Very important defender Anel Ahmedhodzic have left them and key winger Emmanuel Sabbi have signed with OB and will leave them in the summer (As it looks for the moment, it might be sooner as OB are about to sell their topscorer Bashkim Kadrii!) so he's in the squad for the game against Horsens along with the other key pieces in offense Edgar Babayan and P?l Kirkevold. Hobro have named a good squad but without some regulars. Boost for them that very good left back Jacob Tj?rnelund and highly talented offensive player Alexander Baun are back after having been out a long time. Baun will need time to get into gear as he especially have not played for 'ages'.

Horsens ended last year several nice wins at home and are a solid team too but without the same level offensive profiles as Hobro. They have signed a couple defenders and have not lost anyone note worthy as of yet. They're playing their 3rd game after having played out a 1-1 draw away with S?nderjyskE before winning 3-1 at home against Aarhus Fremad from the 2nd Division without most of the 1st squad players. As this game is played on artificial grass I expect - like was the case in the game with S?nderjyskE - that left back Michael Lumb, right back Peter Nymann and mid Ayo SImon Okosun to stay at home.

Hobro and Horsens played out a 0-0 draw in the 2nd last game of the year and typically it's tight between them as 7 of the last 8 mutual games have ended with a draw!

Odds not yet out, but here I favor Horsens and I don't think they'll lose. Will go for X2, if I can get minimum of 1.5 on that with small/medium stakes. GL

FCN - Roskilde FC is played tuesday in Farum. I'll be brief this time (Not much info available unfortunately!) but there should lie a good bet here imo. FCN lost against AGF in their 1st game now comes a very different class opponent in last place from 1 Division, Roskilde. Roskilde have been poor away from home in the league especially with 1 win and 8 defeats. They have lost many players because of poor economy although theres still have some good quality left upfront especially with Bakiz, Dhaflaoui, Etim and new signing Czajkowski. Niclas Halse is there still, is the key player in midfield while another key player Robert Larsen are probably still out in which case a big loss. They have managed to sign a few players but as many more have left there's a thin squad for them to work with.

I believe FCN should win pretty unproblematic provided they'll be putting out a good team AND play seriously, but ofcourse this being merely a testgame; We can't take anything for granted unfortunately. With that said I'll give a try to FCN HT/FT 1/1 @ 1.83 Bet365 with medium stakes. GL
