    Denmark preseason 19

Tough winter break from my beloved Danish football!! Thankfully now the test games involving Danish clubsides begin again..

Tomorrow Theres an interesting one as Brøndby welcome BSF on Brøndby stadium. Brøndby have only resumed training on Tuesday 8th and it's their first testgame. Some of their players - Besar Halimi, Dominik Kaiser, Mikael Uhre, Josip Radosevic and a bunch of youngsters have played an indoor tournament though where Brøndby ended up runners up. Some players are definitely absent for tomorrow: Midfielder Simon Tibbling is injured and defender Joel Kabongo and striker Nikolai Laursen are with the Danish U21 team. 3 more youngster are also away on international duty but out of them only Morten Frendrup are in the first team squad so not important. Other missings are possible so need to check the squad announced tomorrow..

Brøndby have lost only a few players so far in this transfer window. Key right back and former captain Johan Larsson and offensive player Uffe Bech have left. Also left back Bjørn Kopplin are gone.

Offensive player Swedish Simon Hedlund from Union Berlin are brought into the squad and I expect him to get his unofficial debut for his new club in tomorrows game.

I must admit I don't know much about BSF. They are promoted to the Denmark series (4th level) before this season and are doing okay but not among the best in their group. The last game they played (Last 2 was at home, both on artificial grass) on 11/11 and will not play a league game before on 24/3. It's a long break for these amateurs compared to Brøndby who ended the year on 16/12 and will resume the league games on 10/2. I don't know exactly how much influence something like this have but I expect the Brøndby players to be in much better shape than their opponents.

Brøndby are @ 1.05 Bet365 for the win only so need to wait for asian lines. Brøndby should be able to win by at least 3-4 goals if they play serious imo.

Still no Brøndby squad announced yet. Theres -3.5 @ 1.9 Bet365 on offer but for me that's no value so no bet. In 4 days Brøndby plays at home to Roskilde maybe that can yield a bet we'll see..

Mukhtar, Kaiser, Wilczek on the bench.
        Better skip it?

Didn't see your comment before now but I would've still said no bet. BSF must have have been pretty bad as Brøndby won 8-0 in the end..

            Yeah
Weirdly, there were two red cards for BSF. You barely see them in Scandinavian leagues' games, never mind the friendlies.

Anyways, do you think Brondby can get back to winning ways?
It was some nice footie they played in a past few seasons, I was surprised to see them fallen behind in the championship race.
Were they badly affected by departure of Pukki, Norgaard, Ronnow etc.?

Brøndby improved during the later part of last year, it will always take some time when key players have left and with new players coming in. I doubt they will ever come back to the best level they had under Zorniger, but maybe the break have done them well and they will improve further in the spring season. It's a very good team still so I'll hope so..

Theres a couple interesting games for Tuesday: AaB - Thisted and AGF - OB

AaB have many missings, it's still a good squad with most of their key profiles available but the best young talents are not there as they are away on international duty. AaB lost their first test game against Hobro by 1-2 on saturday so they will be motivated here to do better. Thisted are not a bad team away from home and are not some pushovers but if AaB play seriously they should win obviously.

AaB are only 1.25 Bet365 for the win so wait for asian lines again.

OB have named a strong squad for the meeting with AGF that will take place in Aarhus on artificial grass. Defenders Marco Lund and Alexander Ludvig are the only players missing so every other key profile is there. Defensively it can mean some problems but I believe they are still solid enough overall to avoid defeat. OB have not added players to their squad yet but have also not lost any player of significance.

AGF have bought a new goalie on loan from Liverpool, defender Frederik Tingager (Played latest in Germany but came from OB), right back Alexander Munksgaard from FCK and finally striker Patrick Mortensen from Sarpsborg.

AGF only notable loss so far is defender and former captain Pierre Kanstrup.

New signings look like reinforcements but Alexander Munksgaard will not play tomorrow same as key player versatile Jens Stage. There might be other missings but AGF have not named their squad for tomorrow yet.

                  OB X2 @ 1.66 Bet365 for me here with small-medium stakes.

Tomorrow will be played Horsens - Fredericia, on Horsens usual home stadium.

I've found no odds as of yet. Horsens will certainly be without key right back Rune Frantsen while winger Jonas Borring and reserve left back Thomas Kortegaard are both likely to be rested. For Horsens a couple strikers left them so right now they only have 2 pure strikers in the squad, so they'll be looking to add 1 or 2 during the transfer period. Offensive player Loaka Andreasen from Hvidovre have been added to their squad.

I don't have much info on Fredericia and I've not come across anything about any injuries. According to their captain Christian Ege Nielsen they don't fear Horsens, they want to win and show people that they haven't forgot to play football!

Horsens are favs in this one ofc but Fredericia have got good quality and I fancy a bet on goals. If odds are at least 1.5-1.6 then an over 2.5 could be tried imo.

Theres been plenty of goals in the Danish testgames so far and I hope to see the trend continuing in Horsens today. Horsens have a decent offense and against second league opposition I think they might score a couple. On the other hand Horsens have the joint worst defense in the Superliga, and with Fredericia being the 2nd most scoring in 1st Division they'll fancy their chances to score aswell.

Over 2.5 @ 1.6 Bet365 for me with medium stakes. GL

                        Brøndby - Roskilde

Brøndby playing their 2nd testgame this time against harder opposition. Brøndby's qualities most know, they have some certain missings; Hany Mukhtar, Simon Tibbling and Nikolai Laursen but they have pretty wide squad.

Opponents Roskilde is a very good side, after bad start to the 2nd league they changed their coach and since results became slowly better and better. Offense is very good and they're capable of hurting Brøndby imo, defensively however they should get into troubles today.

I believe this game should have at least 3 goals in it and Theres potential for more so for me over 3.25 @ 1.95 with small-medium stakes.

Randers - SønderjyskE is 1 of the games played tomorrow. It will be played on artificial grass.

Randers were in very good form before the break and coach Thomas Thomasberg hope they can carry it into the spring season which isn't very far away now. Randers have named a strong squad for this game, key defender Jonas Bager is absent along with offensive player Andreas Bruhn but he's not important.

SønderjyskE played against Esbjerg just a couple days ago and won by 2-1. They're hoping for a new coach effect both short term and longterm as Glen Riddersholm is the new man in charge replacing the very unpopular Claus Nørgaard. They played 2 different teams, 1 for each half, against Esbjerg, But I don't know their approach tomorrow. SønderjyskE have several missings so out for certain are key right back Stefan Gartenmann, key mid Niki Zimling and key winger Alexander Bah. Also important defensive mid Eggert Jonsson didn't play last time and left back Simon Poulsen has retired. Former big talent in FCK winger Danny Amankwaa has been signed.

Despite the key missings on SønderjyskE side, I think they can do well here and I don't see them as such underdogs here. With a new coach players are very motivated. I trust in them, Randers are solid team but not scary so for me X2 @ 2 Bet365 with small-medium stakes. GL

I've not yet found anything definitive but I think probably Eggert Jonsson could be back for SønderjyskE. He's been away with the Icelandic national team and they played the last game on 15th against Estonia. It will be very good if he's available as he can also play in central defense if needed..

Reserve goalie Victor Smedsrud, striker William Tchuameni and Eggert Jonsson are all back. Sønderjyske will again play two different line ups:

                              1st half:
Victor Smedsrud ***8211; Jeppe Simonsen, Marc Pedersen, Eggert Jonsson, Morten Dyrmose ***8211; Søren Frederiksen, Rasmus Vinderslev, Daniel Hafsteinsson ***8211; Christian Jakobsen, Mart Lieder, Danny Amankwaa

                              2nd half:
Sebastian Mielitz ***8211; Ramon Rodrigues, Kees Luijckx, Joao Pereira, Nicholas Marfelt ***8211; Marcel Rømer, Jeppe Jordoson, Victor Mpindi ***8211; Peter Christiansen, William Tchuameni, Johan Absalonsen

Reserves: Mads Hansen, Ture Blaue, Ardit Murati

Upping my stakes to medium. I respect Randers and the Randers coach says the players have come back in good shape and that they're full of confidence. I just see a bit more quality in SønderjyskE and the value on them is good imo. GL is any follow the bet!
