    Bulgaria-Sweden

Hi All! I have a very low expektations about a posible Bulgaria win at these match!Reasons:
    1.Missing players in Bulgaria squod.
2.Aproximately 40 years Bulgarian International have not win over Sweden.
3.At the day of the match will be rain which is on the hand of Sweden-they are strongest phisically side.
    4.very important-Hristo Stoichkov:"We will satysfied with a draw!".
5.I can imagine my self who will stop Zlatan/corners/ and Fredy?
I think the situation is 20-50-30%! GL

Betsquad  With Stoichkov as a coach and this squad problems we could only make guesses!

All bulgarian punters would tell you that bulgarian victory here is almost impossible. These are the football traditions. It was clear the same moment after the draw. And more clear now without both Petrovs and Bojinov. Even Berbatov will play after an injury.

But despite all I think we won't lose! It would be too hard for the swedish team than that match in Burgas seven years ago (0:1). This match will be in the capital Sofia on the crowded National stadium (where we beat Germany some years ago and where we have never been defeated)! The whole nation is waiting for this match for weeks and we just can not lose even if the swedish were brazilians or frenchmen. I see 0:0 or 1:1 here. Or maybe it's time for a victory at last...

sweden is not almighty and croatia proved that by beating them on they home turf ... even though bulgaria has a long list of injured players i would bet a draw in here ... they have strong defense and if they hold on untill the HT they might have nice chances

draw on half time also a nice bet

I am keeping my eyes on these site and my opinion is-they rarely make mistakes about wheather conditions at Bulgaria.

For the non-Russian-speaking minority I'd like to point out that
"**1076;**1086;**1078;**1076;**1100; **1086;**1073;**1083;**1072;**1095;**1085;**1086;" means "rain and cloudy".

it's time to stop that terrible series of losses from Sweden.I hope referee won't support Sweden as the previous game in Portugal. So, IMO I'll bet on 1:1, because Bulgaria has a weak defence, but we'll score at our national stadium.Teams will try not to lose.

The probable starting line-up is :
Dimitar Ivankov(levski sofia), Radostin Kishishev(charlton),Ivailo Petkov(kuban krasnodar), Ilian Stoyanov(JEFF united), Elin Topuzakov(levski sofia), Blagoy Georgiev(slavia sofia), Daniel Borimirov(levski sofia), Chavdar Yankov(slavia sofia), Hristo Yanev (CSKA sofia), Vladimir Manchev (levante), Dimitar Berbatov (bayer leverkusen)
                      4-4-1-1 or 3-2-3-1-1

This group is so difficult and this game is the main derby of this round. Both teams are so great....and any result is possible in this match...But...
Bulgaria is facing major injury and suspended problems...Stoichkov has to make changes to his team because captain and midfielder Stilian Petrov and forward Martin Petrov are suspended for the Sweden match.
Injured striker Valeri Bojinov is also missing along with midfielder Marian Hristov who has had another knee operation. Forward Dimitar Berbatov is another doubt after suffering an injury last week.

All these are key players for Bulgaria and especially in derby such this game with Sweden....Sweden's behaviour in previous qualification rounds showed us that the Scandiavian team is more dangerous when playing away..furhtermore...Juventus striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic (he was injured at the last National team match) was recalled by Sweden coach Lars Lagerback on Tuesday for this month's World Cup qualifier against Bulgaria......I count on Zlatan....

                        So:X2 (risky)

                          Bulgaria-Sweden

2nd hosts 1st in the group, Bulgaria has 7 points (2-1-0), Sweden has 9 points (3-0-1). If Sweden won, could buy high-flying ticket to Berlin, to the final. A big IF, however. The main problem for both side could be Ibrahimovic (Juve), who is suffering with a back injury. Everybody knows his ability, so if could play, problem for Bulgaria, if not, problem for Sweden. His play is doubtful but assistant coach Roland Andersson said: „We are aware of Zlatan’s problems, but don’t think it will affect him,".

It seems that Bulgaria has more problem of its own: key players will be missing, such Stilian and Martin Petrov - both suspended -, while Marian Hristov and Valeri Bojinov are both injured, and the new star-striker Berbatov is doubtful.

The stadium is already sold out. Last time Sweden beat Bulgaria by 5-0 in the Euro 2004Coach Stoitchov seems to trust his former team-mates and friends: Daniel Borimirov (35) defender Georgi Ivanov (Samsunspor) striker, Alexander Alexandrov (Istanbulspor) midfielder, and Ilian Stoianov (J-League with JEF United) also has been recalled. I have doubts that with this old-boys-like team Bulgaria could win this match, even if it has very talented youngsters too. The momentum is at the Swedish side, but keep in mind: with a draw both team could be satisfied. Sweden would strengthen the 1st position and Bulgaria’s next game will be in Budapest next Wednesday.

Bulgaria will play against those Hungarian team next, with which such a legend could not make any progress, than Lothar Matthäus, as boss of Nationalelf. So Bulgaria can count the 3 points against Hungary in advance, I am afraid. The odds: 2,7-3-2,45 at gamebookers. But I will go for X2 doublechance for 1,35 at gamebookers.

this morning its raining in sofia, man

you forget something really important for this match IMO. THE COACH. he motivates the players like no one else; they trust him (he is the only bulgarian that ever won a goldenball). for me motivation is everything in close games. bulgaria will not lose this match

last info on the possible bulgarian line-up according to bg forums:

                            Ivankov (Levski)
                            G. Markov (Levski) - Stoyanov (Jef United, Japan) - Kirilov (Litex) - I. Petkov (Rubin, Russia)

Kishishev (Charlton Atl) - Al. Alexandrov (Rizespor, Turkey) - Chavdar Yankov (Slavia Sofia) - Blagoy Georgiev (Slavia Sofia)

Berbatov (Leverkusen) - Georgi "Gonzo" Ivanov (Samsunspor, Turkey).

                            goodluck!

For me, due to Bulgaria cannot field nearly the best team, this is Sweden to win DNB. Unfortunately I waited too long and missed Betandwins and Interwettens 2.7, but now got still 2.62 Back2Bet and covered for money back at Betfair.
