    MACEDONIA - UKRAINE

Macedonia coach Dragan Kanatlarovski has named a 17-man squad for the friendly international against Ukraine in Skopje on 31 March: Milosevski, Nikolovski, Igor Mitreski, Stavrevski, Stojanovski, Bozinovski, Cumbev, Vasoski, Aleksandar Mitrevski, Šumulikoski, Krstev, Sakiri, Jancevski, Pandev, Cadikovski, Dimitrovski, Toleski.

    Probable 11 for Macedonia are:

    3. G. Sedloski (Dinamo Zagreb)
    4. A. Vasoski (Vardar Skopje)
    5. G. Stavrevski (Diyarbakirspor)
    6. A. Mitrevski (Grasshoppers)
    7. V. Sumulikoski (Synot)
    8. A. Sakiri (WBA)
    9. G. Pandev (Ancona)
    10. M. Krstev (Groningen)
    11. G. Toleski (Napredak)

Ukraine coach Oleh Blokhin has named a 22-man squad for the friendly international against Macedonia in Skopje on 31 March:

    1. Goalkepers:
    Shovkovski and Reva (Dnipro)
    2. Defenders:
Shershun (CSKA Moscow), Parfyonov (Spartak Moscow), Symonenko (Chornomorets), Checher (Metalurh), Rusol, Matiukhin and Yezerskyy (Dnipro)
    3. Midfielders:
Gusev and Husin (Dynamo Kyiv), Tymoschuk and Pukanych (Shakhtar), Mizin (Karpaty), Kalinichenko (Spartak Moscow), Rotan, Rykun and Nazarenko (Dnipro)
    4. Attackers:
Rebrov (Fenerbah├že), Shevchenko (Milan), Kossyrin (Chornomorets).
I hope someone from Ukraine will give us the posible 11 because there are to many domestic league players.

Last game played 11.10.2003 Ukraine - Macedonia 0:0.

    Last 5 games for Macedonia:
    18.02.2004 Friendly Macedonia - Bosnia-Herzegovina 1 - 0
    11.10.2003 International Friendly Ukraine - Macedonia 0 - 0
    10.09.2003 Euro Qualifiers Slovakia - Macedonia 1 - 1
    06.09.2003 Euro Qualifiers Macedonia - England 1 - 2
    20.08.2003 International Friendly Macedonia - Albania 3 - 1

    Last 5 games for Ukraine:
    18.02.2004 Friendly Libya - Ukraine 1 - 1
    11.10.2003 International Friendly Ukraine - Macedonia 0 - 0
    10.09.2003 Euro Qualifiers Spain - Ukraine 2 - 1
    06.09.2003 Euro Qualifiers Ukraine - Northern Ireland 0 - 0
    20.08.2003 International Friendly Ukraine - Romania 0 - 2

My prediction is that Macedonia will keep clean sheet at the half and probably will be draw or home win. There is nice odd at WillHill H/D for 15.00 and this is what probably will be the outcome of this game (Macedonia has not lost first half in last 5 matches at home).

Macedonia will play withouth their best forward Pandev from Ancona who is injured and Ukraine will be without Jaschuk from Anderlecht but they have Shevchenko and Rebrov in front so they wont miss him much. Under goals looks good!

Sorry "Administrator" I have checked www.gazzetta.it and Pandev is not on the injured list so he will play, and in Macedonia squad he is more like attacking midfielder than clasic striker. Kanatlarovski will play with formation 4-5-1 with Pandev and Sakiri as atacking midfielders.

As you can see I didn't include Jaschuk in Ukraine squad so there are 21 insted of 22 players.

by the way : Yashuk has a belgian citizenship too and decided not to play for Ukraine.(except that Ukraine law doesn't recognize double citizenship so he broke the ukrainian law and can't play for Ukraine)

              i can't agree with you.
The team which has Shevchenko always has a chance to win.
I'm pretty sure that Ukraine won't loose.
The Ukrainian defence is not such poor .
The basis of the team is Dnipro players.
Dnipro is a team which has a very good defence and is in-form team now.
they conceded only 1 goal from Marseille (which beat Liver 3:2 aggr) and won against out of form Dynamo Kyiv and against Shahtar.
When you add some other good players like Timoshuk and Shevchenko (and others) you can get a good team.
It it were not a frienldy game , i 'm sure Ukraine wouldn't loose, but this is finally a frienldy game where the result is not very important(may be not importnat at all).
              i think
              Macedonia : 25%
              Draw: 50%
              Ukraine: 25%

Macedonian players are also in good form except Sakiri who don't play for WBA very often, but the others are all in the first 11 for their teams.

This team is the same as the one that played England and if you saw the match you would know that Macedonian performance was brilliant (1-0 at half time and 1-2 final). Macedonia was unlucky that lost this game.

As I sad before (Macedonia - Bosnia), Macedonians are playing very well at home, and lately away also. They play a remarkable first half with totally offensive football, and if they win the first one they will surely win or in the worst situation it will be draw (only 1 time they lost after leading the first half).

Ukraine is highly motivated to win first match with new coach. They will play with practically their best squad for win only. In first match in Kiev difference in class between ukrainian and macedonian team was too high.
Ukrainian team like away matches more than home , because they can play on countre-attacks. I bet full stake on Ukraine (0) .Odds are about 1.6.

Pandev is definitly out for tomorrow.
I think that Ukraine has the advantage in this match because they know
what to expect this time and they will not underrestimate us like in the match in Ukraine. BUT, my advice to every punter is to leave this match alone bettingwise, because Macedonia's squad is VERY unpredictable and they "work" mainly on adrenaline basis. If they have the support of a full stadium everything can happen and I must also say that the whether conditions are favorable and the ticket prices are very low

0% for away win? It's nonsense! Even with Brazilian national team Ukraine
has better chances than 0%! Coach of Ukraine Oleg Blochin said that after
a draw with Libya he is satisfied only with a win. This is his first match and
of course he'll try to win this one. I won't bet on this game a lot of money,
a small stake just for fun, but I rate it 20% 40% 40%

Yes there are players in MACEDONIA that can stop Shevcenko, personally I think that Dinamo Zagreb's G.Sedlovski as most experienced player will be the keeper. The stadium tickets are already sold out so it will be full and that will be boost for the home players (if you saw the match Macedonia - England you'll know what I'm saying).

Probable draw but as I sad before H/D is very possible.
