        20:45 Bray Wanderers -- : -- Derry City FC 6.6 3.9 1.66

Derry should win this. Odds are 1.66 on betfair. Not excactly great value though. But your money should be safe enough if you bet.

        20:45 Bohemian FC -- : -- Longford Town 1.88 3.55 4.7

Only 3 points and 1 team between them in the league. Longford Drew 0-0 with Drogehda in their last game. Bohs beat UCD 1-0 with a peno in the 90th minute. I dont excactly see a goal fest.

A draw @ 3.55 is the best value i can find.

        20:45 Drogheda United -- : -- Shelbourne FC 3.1 3.15 2.66

Tie of the week. Shels are first and 3 points ahead of drogheda who are 3rd. Shels have been on a great run lately, firing the goals in(15 i nthe last 3 or there abouts). Drogheda have a excellent defensive record though. Only conceded 4 goals in 15 matches.

I think will have to much for them though. AW for me. Over/under is hard to call. If i had to choose i would go over. Wouldnt be suprised if it finished 2-1 to shels.

        20:45 Sligo Rovers -- : -- UCD 1.8 3.65 5.4

        Sligo should win this one.

        Saturday 5 Aug 2006
        17:00 Waterford United -- : -- Cork City 9.2 4.2 1.43

Cork game after being knocked out of the champions league. They should put that behind them and win. But the odds really arent great.

              Event: Sligo Rovers - UCD

              Statistics:
              Sligo at home: Win-4 Draw-3 Lost-0 GF-12 GA-5
              UCD away: Win-1 Draw-2 Lost-5 GF-3 GA-13

Reasoning: Sligo is in top form with no loss at home from the start of the season and UCD is the opposite, with the worst away record - only one victory. They are both former second division teams. Historically between the two Sligo always put a fight and lost by a goal margin at home. I think that now they have the opportunity to prove their worth against an old enemy. Sligo have big ambitions this year, they recently signed highly-rated Nigerian striker Choice Aisien, and he should feature in this match.

Selection: Sligo Rovers Home win @ 1.80 (Betfair), stake 7/10

Sorry for my english language. It's poor.

Sligo lost 3-0 a long time ago and most importantly they played away. Their strength is at home at UCD are very weak away. Sligo beat some very strong teams , just look at their recent form

                      Jul 28, 06 Shelbourne 3 - 0 Sligo i
                      Jul 18, 06 Bray 1 - 2 Sligo i
                      Jul 14, 06 Waterford U 1 - 2 Sligo i
                      Jun 30, 06 St. Pats 3 - 1 Sligo i
                      Jun 26, 06 Sligo 3 - 1 Derry i
                      Jun 23, 06 Bohemians 0 - 2 Sligo i
                      Jun 3, 06 Sligo 3 - 1 Longford i
                      May 27, 06 Carrigaline 0 - 4 Sligo i
                      May 13, 06 Sligo 0 - 0 Drogheda i
                      May 9, 06 Sligo P 1 - 1 P Finn Harps i

                      now look UCD

                      Jul 29, 06 UCD 0 - 1 Bohemians i
                      Jul 21, 06 Shelbourne 6 - 0 UCD i
                      Jul 16, 06 UCD 0 - 0 Drogheda i
                      Jul 9, 06 Bray 1 - 1 UCD i
                      Jul 4, 06 UCD 2 - 2 Longford i
                      Jun 30, 06 Cork 1 - 0 UCD i
                      Jun 26, 06 UCD 2 - 1 Waterford U i
                      Jun 23, 06 St. Pats 0 - 0 UCD i
                      Jun 2, 06 UCD 0 - 0 Derry i
                      May 27, 06 Kilkenny 0 - 2 UCD i

Notice the difference? Historically the two teams look like Sligo in not going to win ever. But recent form is what counts.

I love Shelbourne and Derry in this league.they made help me to win money till today and i trust them.I had thought Shel and Derry will fight to have premier league cup in league 10 weeks ago and i see iam not wrong.Drogheda doing great job really but drogheda started to lose points especially away games ok their deffence is wonderful but i see they cant score easy but shel is completely team we know they want the championship since long time and they deserve that is i think Shelbourne will not lose tonight.
Also derry will win bcos their 2 hard arrivals will fight tonight Drogheda-Shelbourne.Definitely one of them will lose points or probably 2 of both teams will lose 2 points with draw. That is Derry will not miss that luck and most important waterford look an amateur team and i think they accepted to play in 1.league for next year.Derry on good mood, form, motivated.

                            Start ignoring those papers.

This is going to happen (source):
"Waterford United will entertain high flyng Cork City in their rearranged eircom league clash at the RSC on Saturday with more than pride at stake.

The Blues are currently without a manager and Derek Browne will continue to prepare the team for the game. He has been forced to plan without Alan Reilly who has picked up an injury this week in training while Paul Hopkins, Darren Young and Thomas Hawkins are still on the treatment table. Robert Brosnan also misses the game because of work commitments. However Browne is hopeful that Alan Reynolds will have recovered from the back injury which kept him out the Derry game last Sunday and Alan Cawley should make his debut.

Damien Richardson must plan without Joe Gamble who is suspended while George O Callaghan remains out of favour after his bust up with the manager. John O Flynn could make a return following injury and Dan Murray and Danny Murphy will also return having missed the Champions League clash with Belgrade.

                            League Form
                            Waterford: LLLLLL
