    Forum via Tapatalk?

With the change of server we lost the possibility of using the forum on mobile devices via tapatalk?

Tapatalk is advantageous because it spends much less mobile data than the website.

Surely that won't be the case? I think we will get tapatalk back

I mean if older version of vbulletin had one I don't see why the newer one would lose tapatalk support?

we probably just need to wait a little bit, not everything is set and done yet as far as I can see

I can't post properly? When I click post reply button there's some kind of error. My reply gets posted but it doesn't accept spaces(enter) and parahraphs between the lines. It gets posted but it's a mess and everything's together This is offtopic but I just wanted to let you know, thanks

Okay so this is the error when I click post reply: {"nodeId":2745848} and then it sends me to this URL adress instantly after that error: "https://forum.bettingadvice.com/create-content/text/".

          Update your browser/java/flash/os

Works fine for me so I believe this is not a vBulletin/forum problem, it's something on your end mate

No offense but if everything is working fine for others and only you have those errors then it's up to you, don't blame the new forum man...

And about Tapatalk, did you even read the main headline guys?

            -------------
            MOVING OF FORUM

Sorry for the forum hassle in the latest days. Been moving the forum, and it has caused a lot of problems both in the forum and on the mainsite, www.bettingadvice.com. Integration will be rectified with the mainsite soon too, so you can see the latest picks made on the mainsite listed here in the forum, etc. As it used to be.
But got some problems with domains, and different tweaks at the moment. It will come, though.
You may see some service interruptions for a few days, while we tweak it all together.

            -------------

Of course Tapatalk will be back, it's one of most popular things for forums worldwide so l'm sure we'll get it back. Just chill and wait, jeez
The Aesir will welcome me. My death comes without apology.
And I welcome the Valkyries to summon me home!

To be honest, struggling to get Tapatalk running right away.
The reason is that the forum is now hosted at Vbulletin, in their Cloud service. Meaning BA does not host Vbulletin on our own server anymore. The reason is cost saving (much cheaper) but also much more convenient when upgrading forum software, etc. I thought....
However, it now seems Tapatalk can only be installed when you are in total control of the software yourself, and it seems it is hard/impossoble to do when the forum runs as a cloud service.
I am in discussions with Vbulletin about this, though.

The mobile options in Vbulletin 5 is quite goo. Rendering quite good on cell phones, so the eventual loss of Tapatalk may not be too bad.
Anyway, I am waiting for support from Vbulletin regarding Tapatalk, but from what I have Googled, I dont have very high hopes.

Mobile view looks just fine to me, rendering is proper and there's no need for extra zooming/desktop mode at all. So I personally don't even care about Tapatalk option.

Can we set alerts on email if one member of forum post something?

Yes, I think there is a thread notification system, so you get alerted if there are responses to a particular thread, etc.
Think it is the User control panel, so you can influence it directly yourself, for your user.

I also think there are some settings I need to do, globally, so need to read up on it first

can somebody set +/- buttons on forum list so they don't load promotions, aid and other non "essential" stuff on loading?
I think that option will give much more clean look even on mobile services as we all know how limited is screens and going up and down without entering something just by mistake

I checked, but i didn't figure it out how to do it. Maybe someone find this option, because i didn't. Or maybe is not available yet.

You cant even compare Tapatalk vs mobile version of this forum. For the guys that are used to Tapatalk, at least. Can administrators post some updates (as soon as there are some) here regarding Tapatalk support?
