The only injury for Wolves is Jonny Castro, other than him they have plenty of options left and the team is almost stacked with players like Jimenez, Traore, Neto, Podence, Moutinho etc. The seeling of Jota didn't affect the team as much and that is great to see. Wolves are still one of the best teams after the elite in England. Crystal Palace cannot count on Ferguson, Hennessey and Conor Wickham. James Tomkins and James McCarthy are both on their way back from injuries but still not at one hundred percent. Jordan Ayew and Butland had COVID infections up until few weeks back so overall the situation in the club does not look good. Wolves with home advantage, basically no injuries and a rising form, should win this home clash against Palace. Wolves also must feel some type of way after not being able to penetrate through Newcastle's defense, the motivation to win is at its peak. Home win and 1:0 or 2:0 is my prediction.

Jong Ajax has 5 wins in their last 6 games and everytime they won they scored at least 3 goals, they won 3-0 with Excelsior at home and 3-0 at Go Ahead Eagles, but last 4 games they have conceded a total of 9 goals, losing first with 4-0 away at Breda, followed by two 3-2 wins at home against Jong Az game in which they won despite playing more than a half in 10 men and than they also won 3-2 with Jong Utrecht at home while last round they played away at Maastricht scoring 5 goals and winning the game with 5-1 in the end, so they have their scoring boots on. Jong Almere is undefeated with 6-3-0 record and 19 goals scored by them but also 8 goals conceded, they drew on the road 2-2 at Dordrecht which is really not that strong or won 6-4 away at Excelsior, while I still remember them losing here with 8-0 two seasons ago as I made some money betting on over in that one, or last season they lost here 3-2 but still 5 goals scored, and since Ajax played two games with 5 goals and one with 6 in their last 3 mostly on the scoring end but not that great in defense though, and Almere is scoring goals and high in the league standings shall take good odds for over 3.5 goals.

Laaksonen Henri - Daniel Taro

In the first quarterfinal of the day in Hamburg, Laaksonen will face japanese player Taro Daniel. They've met once before but that was almost 6 years ago when Daniel won it 6-2, 6-4 (hardcourt). Their rankings are close and coincidentally funny for me with Laaksonen at #133 and Taro at #122. One of the key reason I think the swiss player will have an easier game this time is because of the conditions. Daniel Taro is not a fan of indoors hard as his almost 50-50 win-loss percentage shows. He's had pretty hard matches in the first two round where he wasn't given the first chance to win but managed to slip a 6-4 with Rinderknech and 6-3 with Marterer in the deciders. Most of the times this year Laaksonen is pretty dominant indoors when he wins indoors and I believe Daniel is an even more approachable player than his first two opponents here in Hamburg (Torpegaard and Kamke) and despite the h2h I'll go for -2.5 handicap.
