Nikon is Exiting the Rifle Scope Business

One of our intrepid readers, who is involved in the retail arms trade, told us about a notification he received from one of his distributors. They made it clear that Nikon would go out of the optical sights business and that as soon as the current inventory disappeared, it would disappear.

TAG spoke to the Nikon advertising Agency, which confirmed the news. We were told that this is a Nikon business decision based on their position in the highly competitive optics market.

However, Nikon is not going out of the outdoor optics business. The good news is that they will continue to produce their superior sights, rangefinders, and binoculars.

At the same time, there are a number of good deals on Nikon optical sights as sellers reduce their inventory. Take them while you still can.

Nikon scopes are really good, but I'm not that sad that they are leaving the business. I have found new company that makes really good scopes and I bought mine from them.
