You know, I'm not new one in betting, and my record rather good.. But!
first of all i want to say that I've started thinking about this theme after reading thoughts on one of russian betting sites www.stavochka.com.

Just take a look on Top 10 bets at WillHill:

All of this bets are allmost sure for most of bettingadvice users and , even, tipsters.. But don't you think, that bookies are earning money mostly, not loosing...

Just try for example every match day to bet on ten "Bankers" from top ten, and to bet singles against them (1X, X2, or even 1 or 2), and see, what is more profitable? :roll:

It's obvious that not all of these 10 will win, just because they are the most popular ones.. the art of betting imo is that you need to pick the winners. Ah, that sounds easy! Problem is that you never know which favorite is going to let you down.. I don't think always picking the favorites is profitable, especially with the odds provided in this top 10.

Amazingly enough, 9 out of 10 won. Only Porto drew. 8O

yes, but that was just a single night. The battle may have been won but the war with the bookies is far from over :lol:

Betting on such heavy favourites can be hazardous at the best of times!! I think tonight there will be some surprises....

Most of the times, betting on the top 10 bets with flat bet will result in losing money rather than winning. Yesterday was just lucky.
