    simple questions

    Hi all,

I am new to online betting and eager to learn . My english is not good thats why I like to know the meaning of some "betting terms" . I want to know what doubles , combo's and parlays mean? ops:
BTW I have no credit card and I am not planning to have one , is it possible to have some other ways to deposit money to online bookies?
Feel free to give me more tips/advice

    thanks

    thanks
    hey.

Welcome to betting world. You have no idea, how life will change from now on
    Ok.. let's explain to you:
    doubles:
it means that u take 2 bets together as one bet. For example:

England : Poland  Engaland to win 2.05
Iceland:Hungary  Hungary to win 2.20
    --------------------------------------------------------
    together : 4.50

this is double bet, and must win both games to win the bet.

Combo is the same, only difference is, that combo is also bet with 3, 4, 5 or more games together in one package. Have in mind that combo bet's are risky to play, since chances for winning get's smaller with bigger number of bets in combo.

Parlay i'm not familliar with, but i think it is some kind of bet that u suggest to some bookie or other people, than you parlay for the odds . But not sure.

About deposit money to bookie without credit card... yes, it is possible. For example, gamebookers has a few other options to deposit. You have that paysafe methods, netmoney methods... i suggest u to visit each bookie and go to "deposit" page.

    Hope i helped u a bit.
    Good luck

You really explained it easy for me 8)
Is it possible to choose your own games in combo? Or will the bookie give you a list?

you can choose whatever games u want. You can also put in combo for examplke : one soccer game, and one under/over in hockey.. as u wish.

No, x2 means draw or away win, both results mean you win the bet.

Bollo, I don't know if you're putting us on with those silly questions, but if not, I would really like to disscourage you to get into the betting business, as with as much knowledge, you're most likely to get a bankropcy.
This forum really is a frindly place, but I would feel awful helping you, almost like helping my child to learn how to use drugs
Anyway, my advice is - watch for a couple of years, maybe try to play virtual money, and when you become 18 (or at least 15), decide then

Thank you for your advice , I can clearly see your point . I am 18 years at the moment and I am not betting . I want to research online betting carefully thats why I am planning to play with virtual money and learn the betting terms and other things . I am not that stupid to bet first and ask questions later ops:
And as for the questions they were serious ..

What strandns means is that you will need discipline and knowledge in order not to make a constant loss. It's very easy to bet too much when you have an online account. If you weren't able to find a betting guide for dummies on the Internet, why will you have the ability to find the information you need to win later on? The message is to be careful. If you decide to play with real money (you don't need a credit card, bijv. via moneybookers), then keep it simple: only singles, and low stakes on matches you are going to watch. Be sure to read a couple of previews from people, to see if they have the same opinion. Since you are a newby, try to keep a simple overview from all bets you have made. This can be useful later.

I am already reading previews on soccer matches and other stuff .
I am carefull with money , because I know the risk of betting and I was already looking for good singles like Italy vs Moldavie etc.(virtual money offcourse)
I know that you guys want to warn me and I really appreciate that .

AS Koffie said, try to take only singles at the beginning, as combo's are the best way to lose it all fast (but one day will be the way to get rich - ask Lakini  ).
As for taking Italy and similar games, it proved not the best way to go either, because you need 10 wins to compensate for just 1 loss.
