The Albanians told me that this coach of them is good and they were right. Albania on the road was poor, but now they play organised. Even not having a single chance in Romania until the final of the game, they played very good tactically.
I have to remind you that Albania is way better home than away. Home even against Luxembourg they will have fanatic supporters because it is a perfect opportunity for them to make 4 points at the start of this open group and to start to dream about a qualification.
If you score a fast goal against Luxembourg, they are easy to be killed and Albania until the draw with Romania had 5 won friendlies in row! At least a 2-0 we will see here...
Pick: Albania Over 1.5 Goals @ 1.44 10/10 Bet365

man,how you love to play with fire
Dont say it might not be a winning bet,but to back Albania to score 2 goals here at such lousy price looks like a bad idea.As i saw this Luxembourg against Bosnia(watched only replays) they took some naive goals,at least last 2 of them, losing the ball in Bosnia half after which bosnians trigger fast counters which led to that fk of Pjanic and the third goal in same manner. They were really naive, trying to attack Bosnia ,probably their coach likes to play offensive footy, dont know really but it's more likely they will park the bus here, since it is an away game. And i say it is a bad idea mostly cause of Albania which is not an offensive force.Yes,they improved a lot,i like their organization of the game, short team with aggressive pressing and fighting abilities ,but if you saw their latest results you would be worry:1-0 Uzbekistan,1-0 Andorra,1-0 Northern Ireland,1-0 Montenegro. This clearly proves that they have scoring issues. If Luxembourg will play defensively you might be in trouble...

Is true that latest result's of Albania doesn't convince anyone to back Albania playing OVERS ,but someone who wached those games would say that Albania in each match missed a lot of chances ,example with Uzbekistan there was something like 20-25 shots on goal ,with Northern Ireland the same , with Andorra too ,missed chances one on one with the keeper. In another day we could have seen different score.
Tonight Albania is very foucused vs Luxembourg ,simple because in the past we underestimated small teams and had difficulties beating them. While now i belive the mentality of the players under coach KUZHE has changed ,they take each game very seriously and you can see that in friendlies were they won 4 out of 5. Today KUZHE will play an attacking formation with Bogdani - Salihi up front , then with Muzaka , Skela and Duro just behind them ,DM will be Bulku , while defence will be the same as vs Romania ,Dallku ,Cana , Curri , Vangjeli.
My pick would be OVER 2.5 @1.80 ,is time all those missed chances to turn them into goals. Also if anyone can find Skela to score anytime would be a good bet , simply because if he scores tonight he will equal the all time goalscorer Alban Bushi ,and i belive he will score.

doesnt matter the results were 1-0, against this team they will score at least 2. they might score from 2-3 up to 4-5!
Bosnia didnt force in Luxembourg and Luxembourg was playing home.
Albania is very tough team home, they have fanatic supporters, 4 points for them can be a good start for them and to dream! i have no doubt they will easily complete this over 1.5 goals (home team to score 1.5) maybe even from half time.
still, thanks for the warn Sirac, but i already put big money on this and i am very confident...

@ Poltergeist, you are right in general, but today don't count too much on fanatic supporters... Tickets are not as cheap as in the past for such games and Albanians are a bit demanding, there is never a full stadium in such games as Luxe, Lichtenstein or Andorra... In a stadium of around 15.000 stands, tonight there will be no more than 8000, in my opinion (although I hope for more).

now after what wrote FK. Tirana, your bet looks better.I didnt saw them in those games, only judged them according to their results and from what i saw in the game against Romania. But if they created plenty of chances against those teams then yes it's a good bet,but my main discomfort was related to odds,as if you think they can score 2 why dont you back them with -1,5 AH at a much better price, since Luxembourg rarely scores and Albania has solid defense, very hard to create against them so more than likely visitors wont score today.

you can try the -1.5 too, i didnt want to risk when i am involved with much money.
even 8000 Albanians will be enough in the stadium, they know to create atmosphere and to motivate the home players!

i like to back Albania X2 or DNB against bigger opponent but against such opponent i don't really like , this is a very strange team able to make a very good and impressive result against big teams like the 0-0 against Sweden and Portugal , 1-1 against Denmark but sometimes can fail or can have a very short win against weak opponent like some month ago only 1-0 vs Andorra or Uzbekistan , anyway Luxembourg is a bad team lost 0-3 at home against Bosnia some days ago and i can't see them to make something good in Tirana , they'll even miss Joël Kitenge the luxembourg striker who was able time to time to score goals with them

1-0 ft
Once again balkan mentality will never change. vs weaker opponents we like to think we are Barca or something ,plenty of possession but no end product ,not to mention that luxembourg played with 10 min for the last 20 min or so ,even though they parked the bus from the start. Overall a win is a win , but many lost bet's because of lack of concentration. Could have been easy 4-0.
