I must admit that in this game I backed Spain no matter what. They are double champions, have many players who are the best or one of the best on their positions. Sure, they could be tired, but they are still mighty Spain. Their passing play is the best at the moment, they are way solid in defence than Mexico. Mexico also loves to play attacking football so it will not be one of the World Cup case when teams who played against Spain defending very hard or at least were able to play extremely good pressing (Chile, Paraguay at first half). Mexico is not this case so I expect easier game for Spaniards than those at the World Cup.

The problem is many punters will do blindly the same and backing spain feels like throwing money away taking all factors into account imo ....
first of all lets say mexico are not pushovers as shown in SA having a new breed upfront on top european league standars like chicharito , gio , guardado etc and their trunk is fill by experienced players proven at top level but that alone would not help them beat spain yet our teams has many handicaps ahead of this one ....
our FA agreed to take part in this bicentenary of mex independence match -funnily eough from us the bad guys in history books all through the new continent specially among the less favoured - but yet mexico is the country in america where spain still have very sound conextions and take f.i DF is full of bussines owned by spaniards both migrants from 40/50`s and bussinessmen from late decades anyways ..... some reporst say FA trying to get votes from fellow american FA ahead of WC 18´ elections next month wew will lay in buenos aires ...
our fa signed that at least 3/5 of world cup squad will show in azteca so del bosque was pressured to call most players .. and in the call only iniesta & torres are significant misses so the rest of barsa players are in mexico and they flew from their holiday spot to barcelon/madrid and then straight to mexico capital so this players are just not lacking fitness wich may be said from teh rest of players that have barely one week training , this players simply should not even be there in first place and even if they can play couse many of them are fully profesionals and healthy guys it is very unlikely they will play more than 20 minutes couse in the case of an injury things could get nasty with cule management ....so maybe we should take the likes of xabi , pedrito , puyol, busquets and pique out of the ecuation . then the rest can not be in great fitness as well as only have one week at most of preseason and thsi is the picture regarding our NT .
all of this in teh context of harsh conditions in DF 2.3K meters altitude that played at wee afternoon hours in a sunny - stormy days in this time of year so we could get lucky and have thunderstorms within match - days gets even tougher .
Motivation as well a factor as tricolor will be eager to show against world champs ...
all in all +1/4 @ 2 and any other bet backing mex like (0) and [-1] look quiet valuable

Eh, it was not good decision to backing Spain...
I expected that David Villa will play more minutes, also I expected that Fernando Llorente will make better impact.
But Turkey won so main bet easily covered Spain's loss... it would be so great day if I did not bet on Spain.
