early news regarding Lyon squad:
Lyon will be without midfielder Jean Makoun for Saturday's trip to Rennes. Aly Cissokho is also doubtful with an ankle problem while Sidney Govou has gastro-enteritis.

Marseille v Lens
Marseille have impressed me in recent weeks. They won the Cup last weekend beating champions Bordeaux 3:1. Confidence must be high as they also have realistic chances of catching Bordeaux and can fully focus on the league now...
I strongly fancy Marseille to win this...Lens don't have an impressive away record and I really don't see them as a side that should trouble the home team too much...
Haven't been able to find too much news and team info regarding the match, perhaps it's a bit early...I would like to hear the opionions of others as well.

Bordeaux v Nancy
In normal circumstances I would back the HW here, but I am a little hesitant due to the important CL match that Bordeaux have coming up in just a few days...Blanc is likely to make some changes, and the players will surely have the return leg in their mind...
Having said that, Bordeaux have no margin for error...a host of teams have now almost caught up with them, and there are many more difficult games to come for them...

i heard live commentary with Alou Diarra, he said that his team will play for a win with all power, because they do not want three lost in a row and want to get a motivation win before game with Lyon at CL. But i still this game gives me doubt..

Hi Niklass you really made my day... I just checked your website.. you are awesome guy.. good luck with the project..
And about the upcoming games i really like Rennes vs Lyon - the visitors will be too much focus on the upcoming champions league, Puel could rest some of the players and not at last Rennes are in good form. Lyon was not very convincing over Grenoble (the first goal was in 48th minute). The H2h shows the home win is a 50/50 call and with these odds, it is worth to take that risk.

Montpellier-AS Monaco
Important game for Montpellier who aim for the title being up in front together with Bordeaux .Montpellier lost big last match against a very strong Lille side and maybe also for this match they will seek revenge not only for that loud defeat but also for the first leg game when Monaco won .
Also , tomorrow their coach will celebrate his birthday.
As for Monaco, all team available, but i think in their head is more present the cup match.
ETIENNE- Le Mans
a six pointer, a match i read about 2 weeks ago, when the Saints supporters were invited to buy tickets for this game , a match which is prepared for a long time...as Le Mans is their direct opponent ..Also for L
e Mans their best scorer and No.1 man is out...
Bordeaux and Lille should also prevail

Nobody talking anything about Lille who is facing Valenciennes in bad form, while Lille could start a fight for a championship since they are few points behind.
This is as well derby and coasch from Lille say he would love to win this match ebcause its so important to a fans...
I need injuries, cant find them anywhere... anyone have any info? I know young talented guy from Lille is ready.

Be careful with Bordeaux (CL in mind, small odd) and Lille (derby, 2.1 on road is often dangerous).
I will go with Nice (in good form and could pass Sochaux), St-E (Le Mans is so bad and without Le Tallec) and Auxerre (return game after the QF cup lost after penalty kicks the last week, need 3 pts about the championship race, all the stadium will root for the club, PSG will play for nothing in this competition and probably without 2-3 key players before the SF cup against Quevilly).

RENNES-LYON
PICK: HW DNB
1.8
9/10
REN is in good form and always excellent playing at home with 9-2-3, and just 10 goals conceded. LYO is excellent team but in bed time they travel to REN with BORD on their minds and CL reverse fixture in 4 days.

had ren-lion 1-2 (H/A)
This was their third time that they done that.
to bad for combo
Lyon 1:2 corect
Bordo 2:1 corect score.
but much more bad for bordo- title is more then sliping away for them

olala, bordo lost today.. surprise for me and whole ticket is gone.. But i am looking for tomorrow bets. Marseille should get three points tomorrow, but what about Auxerre? If the win they take the lead ´for a while´. Anyone watch the game when this two played in the cup on 23.3? Any team news?

copy from another forum:
Both teams met in the quarter finals of the french cup ten days ago and that game finished with Paris qualifying on penalties ( 0-0 after extra-time). That particular game was played without any fans after the death of a PSG hooligan a few days before the game. This game tomorrow will be played in front of a crowd but only Auxerre fans can buy a ticket. No one living outside the Auxerre area can buy a ticket and will have to show proof of where they live.

Marseille vs Lens
Marseille still with chances to the title. They have two matches to be played against Sochaux and tomorrow's game against Lens is very important for the final places in the league. Lens is coming after a 5-1 lose against Nancy.
Any reason for not picking Marseille tomorrow?

Regarding Marseille, if there aren't any key missings for them, I will back them with high stakes...they have been impressive recently and I expect them to win today...just want to have the confirmed squad of available players first...

Niang and Cheyrou doubtful and will probably be missing...Niang is the top scorer, Cheyrou also quite important...
Not the best news if you are planning to back the home side...
Also, Lens have already defeated Marseille TWICE this season, but I think that fact will only make the home side more determined to win IMO...what is more worrying, from Marseilles point of view is the absence of the two player mentioned above...
French experts, what do you say?

Niang and Cheyrou are out for sure.
OM squad: Mandanda, Andrade; Bonnart, Taiwo, Heinze, Hilton, Diawara, Mbow; Mbia, Cissé, Kabore, Lucho, Abriel, Valbuena, Ben Arfa; Koné, Morientes, Brandao
Lens still without Boukari i Kovacevic.

With Bordeaux & Lille loose draw between Monptellier & Monaco,Marseille got good opportunity to comeback in top3 tonight .like was say Niang & Cheyrou are injured and think we could assisit to a close match here.Lens just come back from Nancy with 5 goal conceded and don't think will play an open football tonight with the risk to conced 5 again.ut problem in this match is motivation for Lens team .Actually 16th of Ligue1 at 12 point of relegation zone don't have pressure of result on this match.Their objectiv for this year stay the french cup.Think Marseille will win but scenario of this match is un predictable for me .Over is clearly not sure Marseille could win by 1 or by 2+ depend if Lens close the game or no .
X ht/OM ft is my bet here Gl all
probable team for today mtch :

Marseille - Lens
Pick: >2.5, Odds: 1.95, Stake: 10, Bookmaker: Betfair
Pick: >3.5, Odds: 3.65, Stake: 6, Bookmaker: Bwin
Pick : Lens first team to score, Odds: 5.50, Stake: 4, Bookmaker: Bwin
Lens is almost saved. Their aim now is to qualify for the French Cup final. Boulogne, the first non-relegation is 12 points behind with a worse goal difference. Besides, apart from the quarter-final won against St Etienne, the northerners have not won since Feb. 20. Kovacevic was injured and as I often say, that player is indispensable to the performance of the team. When the team is missing a hard time winning games. Boukhari was also injured. Monnet-Paquet is expected to return.
Marseille 3 games behind Lyon and Bordeaux, with only 5 points behind. No doubt that today they want the 3 points of victory. I expect a game very prolific goals. Niang and Cheyrou are missing. Marseille always scored at least one goal in their last 14 games. And conceded at least one in 13 out of 14. Tonight at the "Velodrome" i expect an offensive festival. Marseille plays the title, Lens shaping up in the head semifinal against Monaco on April 13.
Odds are insane for the fisrt team to score. Remember Le Mans, i have said the same thing... Lens have nothing to lose and will play counter-attacks. This is my BEST pick for today. Be careful with a straight home win. I strongly recommended to bet in LIVE. I distrust a lot of Lens.
