NHL Sunday, January 17th
24-20-3 (+78.64) ; 123%
Detroit money line incl. ot. @ 2.12 Pinnacle (8/10)
The Red Wings came up short in Dallas, but they're a team on the rise. No matter if Howard or Osgood suits up for the Red Wings, they should be a solid bet at home. Howard is 9-5 with only 1.94 goals allowed per game at home while Osgood, although he hasn't made a start in a while, is 5-2-2 with 2.07 goals allowed at home. Despite the injuries, the Red Wings are 14-7-2 at home. And although the Blackhawks are atop the West, their road record is 12-6-3 in contrast with their 21-5-1 record at home. Chicago is scoring goals, but they've also allowed 5 in each of their last 2 road games. The defensive lapses will hurt them against this Detroit team. The Blackhawks have improved the last 2 years while the Wings have taken a dip, but still Detroit is familiar with Chicago and has won 8 of the last 10 encounters in Hockeytown.
Anaheim - Calgary under 5.5 @ 1.71 Pinnacle (8/10)
Calgary has scored more than 3 goals only once in their last 22 games. In their last 5 games, they're averaging only 1.40 goals for and 2.20 goals against. Anaheim is averaging 2.80 goals for and 2.40 goals against. Calgary has tallied only 3 power play goals on 32 chances in their last 10 games. Anaheim goalie Jonas Hiller has allowed a team to score more than 3 goals once in his last 14 games. After finally being healthy for once this year, the Ducks lost Selanne and Koivu (2 goals and 6 points this week) earlier this week. Bobby Ryan, who is first on the team with 20 goals, is questionable for tonight's game. Calgary's streak of unders should continue in a low-scoring event.

2010-01-17 Detroit - Chicago by: White Eagles (17-01-2010 15:28 CET)
This game will be broadcasted by national TV NBC so the two teams will give their maximum in this clash.
This is the fourth meeting between them this season and Chicago is 2:1 in first three.
Chicago begans season eight-game road trip beating Columbus 6:5 last night. They have best home record in the league and their home ice is a hard place for other teams but on their away games they are beatable. In last game they give up the lead in second period, but they scored two pp goals to make them win.
Detroit led 2:0 in the first period against the Stars but give up the lead and lost the game in the shootout by controversial goal by Stars Steve Ott.Detroit plays good against good teams(remember Sharks). They have magnificent players and they couldnt be underdogs at their home ice. They have good goaltending, good squad and are for sure able to make upset here.Value is on them to past Chicago.GL
Pick: H ot, Odds: 2.12, Stake: 9, Bookmaker: Pinnacle

2010-01-17 Washington - Philadelphia by: White Eagles (17-01-2010 17:06 CET)
Final meeting between the Eastern Conference rivals.Washington won 2 of the 3 previous meetings.Their games are full of goals 6:5,4:2,8:2.
Flyers are 11-11-1 on away games this season. They lost last game against Toronto without scoring a goal.Result was 4:0.That result is so atypical for them because they are one of the hottest NHL teams.Losing from Toronto one of the strrugling teams this season may tell us that something isnt right with this team in this moment. They haved 4 pp opportunities in match against Toronto and didnt score a goal.,what is really a miracle knowing that they have 9 goals from 19 in the previous five games. Also two players left the match in Toronto Darroll Powe and Scott Hartnell.Powe with an upper body injury,Hartnell due to illness. They will both be in the line-up today but their form is questionable.
Washington are dominant at the Verizon center winning three straight and eight of nine. They own the Eastern Conferences best home record to 15-3-3.In last game they smashed struggling Toronto by 6:1 result, that same Toronto who beated-up Flyers in their previous gameCaps was a dominant side in whole game. They moved puck well, they organized their offence and defence well, having brilliant goaltending and Ovechkin at his best.Of course Flyers are better team than Maple Leafs but could not see them,at this moment, taking something from this game.A point maybe. But with their couple of defensive breakdowns against Toronto hardly.
Flyers coach yet havent decided who to put between the pipes in todays match beeing afraid of Caps snipers.
I am a fan of Caps and you could lower yours stakes but I am going full stakes here.GL

2010-01-17 Anahaim - Calgary by: White Eagles (17-01-2010 22:57 CET)
The reason is simple, missing two top-players on Anahaim side.Anahaim struggled in last game against Kings losing 4:0.Calgary isnt better either they lost all three home games. But they have positive away record and with healthy squad they could make upset here.I am expecting from Calgary to step-up in this heavy moment for Ducks and win this match.GL

IMO there is really no logical argue to unders or overs.
I rather to bet for example on O/U because of trends.
Flames got really long under 5.5 streak, so 2.32 for over 5.5 against the Ducks is good bet. The catch here is the stake - if You already lost on over with Calgary, Your stake must be bigger to catch at least few % of profit.
Try to analyse, is information about starting goallies, inj. players, questionables, averages etc. are good argue for bet on O/U? I don`t think so. I think the trends are more important, if You operate in right way with the stake - profit is Yours.
Bet: Anaheim Ducks - Calgary Flames >5.5
