Default Norway Adeccoligaen 06-08 September

Løv Ham - Bryne:

One point seperates the teams in the league. Løv Ham lost 1-3 away against Tromsdalen in their latest game, but they have fought well at home so far, 5-3-2 with goal score 17-9.
Aleksander Solli (Def), Kevin Dure (Def), Sven Vandenbroeck (Mid) and Erlend Storesund (Mid) are injured. Kim Deinoff (Kee) and Marius Solberg (Def) will be tested for this game. Paul Addo (Def) is suspended for this match.
Bryne played well at home against top side Sogndal (1-1), and they had the lead until the final minutes. 2-1-7 away from home so far. The Tippeliga side Starts talented attacker Aram Khalili is added to the squad on loan for the rest of the season, and scored a goal in his debut against Sogndal.
Christian Gauseth (Mid) and Esben Ertzeid (Mid) are injured.
Løv Ham have performed well at home so far, but they have many injuries and suspensions on key players for this game. Bryne played well at home against Sogndal, but they have some bad away stats in the league so far. I believe the away team will benefit on Løv Hams problems for this match, and grab all 3 points here.
5/10 stakes, away win 3.30 odds @ladbrokes. Good luck!

Mjøndalen - Tromsdalen:

Mjøndalen impressed away against bottom side Skeid (3-1), and got themselves a vital win (their first away win in 11 games) in their struggle to avoid relegation. At home they are 6-3-1 so far with goal score 16-7.
Jonas Kortgaard (Def), Kenneth Karlsen (Def), Lars Granaas (Mid), Adrian Paul (Mid/Att) and Henrik Hontvedt (Att) are injured. Petar Rnkovic (Att), who scored 2 goals against Skeid, has signed for a Slovenian club and has left the club.
Tromsdalen won 3-1 at home against Løv Ham, after some bad performances of late. They dont like to play away from home though, 1-3-6 so far, with goal score 4-21.
Erlend Kjetil Stenberg (Def), Espen Minde (Mid), Håvard Lysvoll (Mid) and Runar Normann (Mid) are injured. Ole Talberg (Mid) is suspended.
One of the best home teams in the league (Mjøndalen), will face one of the worst away teams (Tromsdalen). Though the home team have some key players injured and sold in-form striker Rnkovic, I believe Mjøndalen will win this on their good home stats and their good form of late. 6/10 stakes, home win 2.25 odds @bwin. Good luck!

Moss - Hamkam:

Moss lost 0-2 away against Notodden in their latest game, and they didnt have the same energy level as in their previous games. 6-2-2 at home so far, with goal score 18-14. Martin Thømt Jensen (Def), Gudbrand Ensrud (Def), Mahmoud El Haj (Att) and Aleksander Backhe (Att) are injured. Key player Arnold Origi Otieno (Kee) is on international duty with Kenya, and can not play this match.
HamKam won with ease at home to Stavanger 3-1, but they have struggled in their fight for a playoff spot of late. They are 1-3-6 away from home, with goal score 13-18.
Truls Jevne Hagen (Def), Marius Gullerud (Mid) and Roman Kienast (Att) are injured.
The home team won 4-0 against the top side Hønefoss in their latest home game, and 4 out of 5 of Ham Kams latest games have gone over 3.5 goals. Ill bet 4/10 stakes, Over 3.5 goals odds 2.05 @Unibet. Good Luck!

Interesting pick, but I agree in general with your analysis.
Løv-Ham have done very well at home, on their artifical grass, but as mentioned by you, they got a lot of injuries and suspensions for this game.

Still, I got problems with Bryne in away games. 2-1-7 does not bode for quality on the road, and although they drew 1-1 with top side Sogndal, this was at home, where Bryne has got 5-6-0 so far this season.

Difficult to see value anywhere in this game, really. Probably closer to a draw than an away win, but odds for the draw and the away win is almost equal.
I'm staying away

This is one of the better options this weekend, I think.
Mjøndalen, another of the 1.div teams who are strong at home, and very poor on the road.
Tromsdalen the same. They can beat anyone at home, but lose out far too often in away games.

Odds of 2.25 for the home team is well worth a punt, and I suggest medium stakes.

Nybergsund - Skeid:

Nybergsund lost heavily away to Sarpsborg 08 in their latest game (1-4), and they will have a tough task to avoid relegation this season. 4-2-4 at home so far, with goal score 15-15.
Adam Shaban (Def), Rune Buer Johansen (Mid), Mtaka Simba (Mid), Halvard Ligård (Mid) and star striker Tore Andreas Gundersen (Att) are injured. Goalkeeper Zoran Mijanovic is suspended.
Skeid impressed away against Tromsdalen (3-3), but they failed to do two good performances in a row, as they lost 1-3 at home to Notodden in their latest game. Skeid are 1-3-6 away from home, with goal score 10-20
No injuries reported. Anders Hatlen (Def), Marius Pierau (Mid) and Preben Mankowitz (Mid) are suspended.
Both teams in bad form, but Skeid shocked in their latest away game. I think the home team is way to high favorites in this game, and I think Skeid have a small chance to shock away from home once again, and at least lead this game at the end of first half. Bwin have 9 in odds for that to happend. I think Skeid to lead at half time, 9 in odds, deserve 2/10 units @bwin. Good Luck!

Stavanger - Notodden:

Stavanger held HamKam to 1-1 at the end of the first half in their latest away game, but they lost 1-3 against a better team. They have improved their gameplay of late in their fight to avoid relegation.. At home they are 2-4-4 so far, with goal score 13-23.
Dag Åsmund Strøm (Att) and Fredrik Norberg (Att) are injured.
Notodden have gain much more confidence in their play after their ex-coach Jan Halvor Halvorsen left the club, and new coach Arne Sandstø arrived. 2-0 at home to in-form Moss in their latest game, and they deserved at least a point away against Sogndal in their latest away game. 2-0-8 away from home so far, with goal score 7-17.
Jukka Hakala (Def), Jan Tore Amundsen (Mid) and Fabian Taylor (Att) are injured. Lars Lien (Def) is doubtful for this game. Pål Christian Alsaker (Mid) is suspended for this game.
Stavanger had no chance away against Ham Kam, but they have played okey at home in their latest games. Notodden seems much improved after new coach Arne Sandstøs arrival in the club, and with their recent performances in mind, they should be favorites to win this game. 4/10 stakes, 2.65 odds @Unibet. Good luck!

Alta - Haugesund:

The game will be played indoor on artificial grass.

Alta shocked in their latest game away against Kongsvinger, and they had the lead 1-0 at the end of the first half, and Kongsvinger were down to 10 men after collecting a red card. After the break, Alta couldnt follow up the performance from the first half, and lost 2-4. This was a bit disappointing after their good performances of late, and it shows that this team and the players lacks experience at top level. They have shown their great potensial in many games this season though, and they have to quality to be a serious contender for promotion in time to come. 4-2-4 at home so far, with goal score 20-17.
Martin Overvik (Def), Eivind Dahl Ringard (Def) and Tommy Haugli (Att) are injured.
Haugesund won 3-2 at home to top side Hønefoss, and in their 5 latest games they have 4-1-0. Haugesund are 3-3-5 away from home so far, with goal score 17-19.
Svein Tore Brandshaug (Mid) and Djedje Victorien (Att) are injured. Star striker Thomas Sørum is very doubtful for this game, due to injury in a training session this week.
Alta have the quality to beat any side this season, while Haugesund have played very good of late. If star striker Thomas Sørum cant play, it will be a great loss for the away side. The bookies still under-estimate Alta, and ill bet 4/10 stakes on home win, 3.20 odds @bwin.

Sogndal - Sarpsborg 08:

Sogndal managed to draw 1-1 away against Bryne in their latest game, and holds the 1st position in Adeccoligaen. 7-2-2 at home so far, with goal score 20-12.
Terje Skjeldestad (Kee), Even Hovland (Def), Harald Stormoen (Mid) and Barry Kader (Mid) are injured. Elvis (Att) is doubtful for this game.
Sarpsborg 08 did another impressive performance at home to win 4-1 against Nybergsund-Trysil in their latest game. Away from home they have 3-2-5 so far, with goal score 10-16.
Kjetil Berge (Def), Michael Røn (Mid), Kjell Andre Thu (Mid) and Stian Andersrød (Att) are injured.
Sogndal have finally reached the top spot in the league, and I think that will give the moral boost they need to win this game, against Sarpsborg 08 who play entertaining football at their home stadium, but dont show the same quality away from home.
9/10 stakes, home win 1.60 odds @Unibet. Good Luck!

I've singled out this one as a home win this round.
Kongsvinger are normally poor away, and although thei impressed in the 4-2 win at home vs Alta, espescially after Kongsvinger got a man horrendously sent off for a last man foul (which never was a foul, and Alta scored on the subsequent penalty).

See the incident here: http://vglive.no/#:match:10000689:lv:c11038:rtt:1

Terrible referring.

Anyway, Kongsvinger turned the game after the break, playing very well, winning 4-2 in the end.

However, and away game at promotion-chasing Hønefoss is another matter.
Hønefoss are good at home, got solid players, good workrate.

Odds around 2.0 on the homeside is usable, imho

I agree with your pick here. Hønefoss have the quality to promote to Tippeligaen, and should have a good chance in all their home games this season. Small concern among the home fans for their key player and Adeccoligaens top goal scorer, Lars Lafton (15 goals in 19 games). He didnt play away against Moss due to injury, and Hønefoss` attacking play seemed to have lost their strength without him. He was back in their latest game away against Haugesund and played ok. The home team will need a 100% fit Lars Lafton for this decisive battle.

Kamal Saaliti Jr (Att) is injured. Aleksandr Dmitrijev (Mid) is suspended for Hønefoss.

Edier Frejd (Def) and Magne Sturød (Mid) are injured. Andreas Moen (Att) is suspended for Kongsvinger.

Mightye, you have really evolved to become a great tipster for this league, and I very often agree with your views and conclusions.
Thanks for that:-).
Regarding Alta-FKH:
Class difference here, really, and normally FKH in their current state should win this.
And I still can´t see Alta as a contender for promotion, not this year, not the next. They do well at home because of their geographical remoteness, and they have done surprisingly well in a few away matches due to underestimation factors, good, hard team efforts, and last but not least their star striker Braaten. It is hard, however, for me to see them taking this any further. Only time will show if I´m right, though, of course:-).

Back to this match. FKH outplayed Alta in the reverse fixture. FKH in away matches can be quite variable, but they´ve been getting better, especially in the matches that are considered the most difficult ones. They also have been unlucky in a few of those "easier" away matches in which they have lost points. At Løv-Ham two weeks ago (1-1) Sørum hit the woodwork in injury time from a clear scoring position... At Mjøndalen they missed a penalty in injury time at 2-3. The list goes on.
Now that Alta have gained so many good results, FKH will not underestimate them. Furthermore FKH really smell promotion now and will fight hard for every point in the remaining nine matches. Alta should be quite content, really, with where they are.
Djedje and Brandshaug are good players but have been out for a long time, and are almost forgotten in Haugesund now. The injury situation is better than ever now, actually, with Sørum being the only important concern. If he´s out, it will be a minus for a bet on the away win.
I still wouldn´t touch the home win, though. John Pelu and Nicola Djurdjic are still in the field. Sten Ove Eike is a good striker as well.
Alta conceding three goals playing 11 vs 10 against KIL says something, too, about Alta´s qualities, I think.

Løv-Ham - Bryne:
X2 should do. Difference in quality between these two, and with Løv-Ham being reduced, the home advantage should be e minor factor. I trust Bryne not to lose here.

Mjøndalen is a team I never trust, not even against TUIL.
TUIL is a team I never trust. Not even against Mjøndalen.

Actually I don´t like the rest of the matches this round. Over 2,5 in Moss - Ham-kam could be an exception, though.

Odds changes since my post:

Mjøndalen HW has dropped from 2.25 to 2.05 @bwin. Expekt, Unibet and Interwetten still offer 2.20

Skeid to lead at half time has dropped from 9.00 to 7.50 @bwin. Still the highest odds on the market.

Notodden AW has dropped from 2.65 to 2.50 @unibet. Ladbrokes still offer 2.65!

Alta HW has dropped from 3.20 to 2.80 @bwin. The odds is dropping everywhere. Nordicbet has the highest odds right now 2.85

Best regards,

mightye

Haugesund to score 2 or more looks interesting to me.Alta played intertaining games and its hard for them to keep clean sheet. On the other side Haugesund scored 2 or more in 6 of last 7 games. They have quality players upfront like Pelu or Djurdjic and these players can score anytime.Odds are around 1.90 (my local). These bet looks like good one,but i would like to see others opinions about this.

Alta can very well create problems for promotion-chasing Haugesund.
Alta play indoors, on artifical grass, and although a lot of teams in this league got artifical grass, Haugesund is playing on natural grass.
Therefore, a small advantage to the home team, who are more used to the bounce of the ball on this surface.

Haugesund, as mightye mentioned, are 3-3-5 away, while Alta are variable at home 4-2-4.
I watched the entire Kongsvinger-Alta game (being a Kongsvinger fan), and I was quite impressed by Alta, espescially in the first half.
They play their football far north of the artic circle, almost as far north as you can get on the European continent, with little or no resources, few players to chose from (not many people live up there), and still manage to fork out results. Impressive.

They got a very good forward in Vegard Braathen, top scorer with 15 or 16 goals this year, a speedy fellow which surely can sink Haugesund if given proper service.

Mij0sim mention the OVER 2 goals for Haugesund as a possibility, but I am not very keen on that.
OVER 3.5 total for the game is not that unlikely though, as Alta has defensive frailities, but also almost always manage to score a goal or two.

Normally a X2 would be the correct bet here, but combined odds are low, and not worth the risk.
My match estimations are 30-40-30 (or thereabouts).

Hard ot pick the best bet. Maybe a sign saying it is best to stay away.

Hønefoss - Kongsvinger:

Haugesund scored the match winning goal in the even decider in Hønefoss latest away game, after Hønefoss were down to 10 men because of midfielder Aleksandr Dmitrijevs red card. (2-3) At home Hønefoss have 6-3-1 so far, with goalscore 23-8. The home team have the quality to promote to Tippeligaen, and should have a good chance in all their home games this season. They have added some good players to strengthen their squad to secure promotion in the transfer window. Big plus that Adeccoligaens top goal scorer, Lars Lafton (15 goals in 19 games), is back from injury.

Kamal Saaliti Jr (Att) is injured. Aleksandr Dmitrijev (Mid) is suspended for Hønefoss.

Kongsvinger impressed at home to Alta (4-2), after their coach, Tom Nordlie, left the club earlier that week. Away from home they are 4-1-5 so far, with 16-20 goal score.

Edier Frejd (Def) and Magne Sturød (Mid) are injured. Andreas Moen (Att) is suspended for Kongsvinger.

Hønefoss have been very good at their home stadium AKA Arena so far, and with their top goalscorer back they should have a good chance to get another win here. Kongsvinger played a very good second half against Alta, but I dont think they will get many chances against Hønefoss solid defense today. I recommend 9/10 stakes, 2.00 odds @bwin. Good Luck!
