odds from betexplorer.com
- 3 home favourites. Molde , Odd Grenland and Brann are my first impressions at first glance of this round. Molde for obvious reasons (form), Odd Grenland (playing at home 6-3-1) and Brann (because it is these types of games they usually win).
Stabaek i am skeptical because of their European matches.
Rosenborg i do not have an opinion. It's hard but the price is quite good.

Molde FK - Aalesund FK.
This game is the main derby for both teams! Of course, Molde is much stronger on the paper, but team spirit and desire to win in the derby are also very important. Thats why to go into HW 1.3 in this game- isnt the best idea! h2h matches in the last years are almost equal +2=4-1.
Molde had lose last round to Viking 1-2. So they are in small downtrend now
Aalesund X2 3.3 with low stakes is worth to try.
Lillestrom SK - Stromsgodset IF.
Stromsgodset have'nt many variations in attack. Main scorer M.Pederson (7 goals)... in the last games Nordkvelle start to score... and noth. else. In another hand LSK have nice attacking group- Brenne(8), Sundgot(7), Eziyodawe(5), etc.
Lillestrom is higher class team, then the guests. And I think they will win on their own field tonight.
HW 1.8 with medium stakes.

Molde - Aalesund: Deadline 19:00!!
Okey, this is a derby game, and it always a special atmosphere in these games, but its a major difference in quality in these two teams. Moldes latest home games: 5-2 win against Brann, 8-1 against Start and 5-0 against Rosenborg. Molde are 6-2-2 with goalscore 27-12 at home, Aalesund are 2-2-6 with goalscore 9-20 away from home.
I have considered -2 handicap, but since its a derby ill stick to Molde home win with (-1) handicap. 1.75 odds, 9/10 units played @ Interwetten. Good Luck!

"Molde had lose last round to Viking 1-2. So they are in small downtrend now"
Sorry Ted but i do not think losing a very hard away game in between of so many wins means they are on a downtrend. On the contrary, as the showed today, they had more thirst to get back on wins.

Odd Grenland - Tromsø:
Odd Grenland won their latest game 2-1 away against Aalesund and they have 3 wins in a row away from home now. At their home stadium, Skagerak Arena, they are 6-3-1 with goalscore 23-11 so far this season. No injuries or suspensions for the home team.
Tromsø played very well though they lost in the final minutes away against the Spanish side Athletic Bilbao 2-3 in Europe League this Thursday. Tromsø will not have many days to rest after this long trip and tough opposition, and they can get some trouble to be fully fit for this game. Tromsø will also have the 2nd leg of the Europe League qual against Athletic Bilbao next week in their mind, and will maybe rest some players. Tromsø have 2-3-4 away from home so far. Keijo Huusko (Att) is injured.
Odd Grenland should have a good chance to get 3 points here. They are playing attacking good football at home, no injuries or problems reported, and the away team could be tired from their game Thursday.
9/10 units, home win 1.75 @ Unibet. Good Luck!

Brann - Sandefjord:
(This game will be played on Monday)
Brann won 4-2 in style at home to Strømsgodset in their latest game, and they impress at their home stadium this season, 7-2-1 and goalscore 23-14. Eirik Bakke (Mid) is suspended. New signing Diego Guastavino (Mid/Att) has played very well in his first games for his new club, and the attack seem even more dangerous. This is not good news for the guests Sandefjord. Sandefjord are 2-3-5 away from home, and they sold their best player and captain, Birger Madsen (Def), earlier this week to Vålerenga. Sandefjord won 2-1 at home against Lyn in their latest game, and the defense seemed week every time Lyn was attacking. Now Sandefjord will play against one of the best attacking teams in the league, and their defense will be tested from the first minute.
6/10 stakes on home win with handicap (-1) 2.10 odds @ Centrebet. Good Luck!

Bodø/Glimt - Viking:
Bodø Glimt are holding a relegation spot in the league, but they have performed okey at home so far, 4-2-4. For this game they have a Goalkeeper problem, as first choice Pavel Londak and reserve goalie Jonas Ueland Kolstad are injured. Third reserve Ivar Andreas Forn is loaned out to Adeccoliga side Alta for the rest of the season and cannot be called back. Coach Kåre Ingebrigtsen have stated that Pavel Londak will be playing though he is injured, since the club have failed to find any alternatives. Oduro Kwakye (Att) is injured.
Viking won the tough game at home to championship contenders Molde 2-1, and showed their high potensial. They have 3-3-4 away from home, and they will have to improve that stat to fight for medals this season.
Thomas Pereira (Def) and Joakim Austnes (Att) are injured. Alexander Ødegaard will be tested for this match. Mame Niang (Att) is still suspended by the club, due to violent behavior on their training ground.
Bodø/Glimt will be desperate to get points at home as they are holding a relegation spot, but their goalkeeper problem could be decisive here. Viking have a good chance of fighting for the top 3 with a win here, but they dont impress away from home often.
Viking should win, but i recommend no bets

Thanks mightye, you are really the authority when it comes to Norwagian football. I'm always following your pick (for better or for worse) I took @ my local bookie:
Odd Greenland -1 AH@2.00 double with Tromsdalen -1.5@2.00
Good luck to all of us here @ BA

Brann - Sandefjord:
More info in front of todays game.
Brann: will have to play without Håkon Opdal (Kee) and Rodolph Austin (Mid) because of injuries. Eirik Bakke (Mid) is suspended. Kristian Flittie Onstad (Def) will be tested. Azar Karadas (Def/Att) is fit to play after long injury problem, and will most likely start in defense.
Sandefjord: Samuel Isaksen (Mid/Att) is injured. Rune Hansen (Def) will be tested for this match. Admir Rascic (Att) is suspended.

Brann first:
Håkon Opdal (Kee) is the Brann captain and he has been one of the alternatives for the Norway international squad since 2006. He has been the first choice as Branns goalie for many seasons. Reserve Kenneth Udjus did okey in Branns latest game latest win 4-2, but he have yet to be a first choice for a Tippeliga side in his career.
Rodolph Austin (Mid) has performed well this season, but there are many alternatives for his position. The problem is that another central midfielder, Eirik Bakke (Mid), is also unavailable for this game. They have both been first team regulars for the home team, and coach Steinar Nilsen will have to make adjustments on center midfield. I feel Brann have people available who can play well at center midfield (Solli, Jaiteh), and they may use a 4-3-1-2 formation with Guastavino in off mid, but of coarse these are important players missing.
Kristian Flittie Onstad (Def) will most likely be replaced by Azar Karadas (Def/Att) and if he is 100% fit after injury, he might make the team stronger.
Sandefjord have played without Samuel Isaksen (Mid/Att) for some time, and they seem to have enough alternatives on the wing now. Rascic (Att) have been a first team regular in his first season for Sandefjord, but I think he has yet to be a success in the blue shirt.

I have no idea what you are talking about bro. If you think that Branns first team goalie the last 4 seasons is injured and will not play, and 2 central midfielders from the first line up is injured/suspended for this game, is irrelevant to you, then ill guess you either dont have a clue about betting, or you knew this info before i wrote it.
The extra info was added, due to I have posted a BA pick on Brann HW with (-1) handicap for todays game. This info shows that the Brann team is weaker than expected when i posted the pick. My thought on how much these injuries mattered to the first line up, was a answer to user who asked.
I still believe Brann will take this, but a new central midfield usually takes time to adapt to get the best team play going. Sandefjord are well known for their good team work and dedication, especially at midfield.
I still believe Brann will take this with hc-1, but their chances are smaller.

I think you misunderstand - the poster had his post edited by a moderator (in blue writing) because he just gave a pick without explanation, which we really, really dont care about here.
The comment (in blue writing) was not directed at your post, which I'm sure anyone can see is very relevant, so please keep it up.

No problem
Unfortunately Brann did not play well in midfield today, and they missed Bakke/Austin.
