Ice Hockey WC, Div 1 group B:
Estonia +1.5 - Great Britain -1.5, Estonia @ 1.85 -> Centrebet
So far, Estonia defeated Italy (most surprisingly) and lost to favorites Norway, while UK let France equalize in the last minute and lost to Italy. The words "British" and "hockey" somehow don't fit together, even when UK teams are made of Canadian-born players, as had often been the case. Call me prejudiced, but I respect the fact that 90% of the Estonian players have Russian surnames.
I will actually bet on straight win for Estonia @ 3.75 -> Expekt, Nordic, but for the purposes of the competition I prefer the safer bet.

Hi!
Sas-Ligaen: AB-Esbjerg 1 2.60@Centrebet.
It´s very tight in lower part of the SAS-league table.
<pre>6. Esbjerg 22 8 7 7 42 - 40 31
7. AaB_Aalborg 23 9 3 11 30 - 33 30
8. AB_København 22 6 8 8 28 - 28 26
9. AGF_Aarhus 22 7 5 10 32 - 43 26
10. Køge 22 8 2 12 35 - 47 26
-------------------------------------------------------
11. Silkeborg 22 5 7 10 27 - 34 22
12. Viborg 22 5 7 10 33 - 42 22</pre>
AB get´s back Peter Benjaminsen from suspension.
Esbjerg´s "attack-moderator": Anders Møller Christensen is suspended.
Form:
3 home:AB_København 3 2 0 1 7 - 4 6
3 away:Esbjerg 3 1 0 2 1 - 3 3
Esbjerg has not been that succesfull with scoring recently in their away matches and now when important Möller Christensen is out of the squad i see a great chance for AB to crab a home win and get them selves those most important points against relegation zone!!
Good luck!

Euroleague. Barcelona, one of the strongest teams, maybe the strongest, faces Olimpija. Barca is in a need of a win so they can qualify for Final Four. And Final Four is in - Barcelona. So many people see them as the champions of Euroleague this year. Last week in a direct clash for a spot for FF they won against Olympiakos in the Athens. They are in good form {Bodiroga says they will give 100% tonight}. IMO, this is the banker of the day. BetandWin gives 1.20 on Barca. Take it. But I must take
Barcelona -8.5 - Olimpija +8.5 1 1.85 Gamebookers

Coria v Nadal
Nadal to win @ 2.62 (Skybet)
Nadal has been doing extremely well in the challenger circuits and in this tournament, has proven that he can match it with the elite of tennis. He was Hewitt-like in his fighting display against the current defending French champ, Alberto Costa. He also knocked Kucera out in straight sets.
Coria is a solid clay courter who had to dig deep against Blake to win in 3.
Nadal looks like something special and at the moment, he looks too much for his fellow compatriot.

A Danish pick for today.
Brodby is after the championship (2nd place 6 points away FC Kopenhagen).
At home, Bronby has 7-2-2 (26-9).
Koge is 4 points above relegation line and away records are 5-1-6 (22-26).
I expect Brondby to win this game. The home win pays 1,35. The HT/FT 1-1 pays 1,55. Home win in half time pays 1,60. I'll take the higher return, so the pick for tonight is...
Brondby-Koge...1st half result...1...1,60 (G/Bs)
Good luck to your choises

ATP Montecarlo
Chela v Nieminen 1 @ 1,50 (Ladbrokes)
H2H: Chela 2-1.
On clay: Chela 1-0 (6-4 6-4, Barcelona 2002)
First 2 rounds easily won by Chela against Calleri and Novak, while Nieminen has had some problems against Dent and Kafelnikov.
I've searched around and found average odd around 1,40 (Globet and Betandwin gives 1.35), so I think 1.50 may represent good value.
Good luck to all.

Hi Hi
My pick today is from the German 2 div.
Waldhof Mannheim - Karlsruhe 1 @2,55 Expekt
Mannheim is in last place but still has some chance of holding on to their place in the division, with a win here they go up to 17th place. They have good stats against Karlsruhe 3-1-0 (I don't think this is their full record but it's at least from last four games)
Karlsruhe is also in the relegation zone but I feel that they have had their share of chances to get more points in their last games because they have been playing against weak teams.
Last five home/away
Mannheim: 0-2-3 gd: 3-11
Karlsruhe: 0-1-4 gd: 1-9
Waldhof Mannheim Latest matches ----------------------------------- Karlsruhe Latest matches
2003-04-11 Wacker Burghausen - Waldhof Mannheim 2-0 ------- 2003-04-11 Karlsruhe - Mainz 05 0-0
2003-04-04 Waldhof Mannheim - 1. FC Köln 1-2 ------------------- 2003-04-06 Union Berlin - Karlsruhe 0-0
2003-03-23 Greuter Fürth - Waldhof Mannheim 5-0 --------------- 2003-03-23 Karlsruhe - Braunschweig 1-0
2003-03-17 Waldhof Mannheim - Freiburg 0-3 --------------------- 2003-03-16 VfB Lübeck - Karlsruhe 2-0
2003-03-07 St Pauli - Waldhof Mannheim 2-1 ---------------------- 2003-03-07 Karlsruhe - LR Ahlen 2-4

St. Pauli - Furth 2@2.85 Oddsshop
Furth should win this one to promote to Bundesliga 1, they are having a great form lately, and will easily beat St. Pauli, who is probabile going to relegate this season.

St. Patrick - Shamrock Rovers 2 3,05 at Nordicbet
2nd round in the in the summer league in Ireland, In the winter league Shamrock finished 3th and St.Patrick 7th. Shamrock won both gameas against St.Patrick then and when Nordicbet offer 3,05 on Shamrock I bet on them, Other bokkies have and averange odds on 2,50 and highes odds 2,60 on Shamrock so Nordicbet is much higher than the others here, Non of the team have major injury problems . I tinck S. Rovers have good chances to defat St.Patrick.

My pick for today will be
Danish SAS Ligaen
OB Odense v Farum 1 @ 1.90 (Gamebookers)
Odense (currently at 5th) has a very good home record (7-4-1 21-8) and since the winter break they are playing great football, having two wins and two draws (one win against FC Kobenavn and one draw against Brondby). They lost two times this season against Farum (currently 3rd) with 2:1 (they played both games away) and now it is time for them to get revenge. It won***8217;t be easy since we all know that Farum is very good away team, having decent away record (5-0-7 15-25) but if you take a look at their away games you will see that they lost all of their away games when they were playing against teams from the upper half of the table:
FC Kobenhavn (currently at 1st place) 2:1 and 4:0
FC Midtjylland (currently at 4th place) 2:1
Brondby (currently at 2nd place) 7:1 8O
I am not saying that this will be an easy task for Odense, but they***8217;ll make it***8230;
GL everyone

Mannheim is going down for shure
They lost the last 5 matches and with 21 points they are in the last position
On the other hand Karlsruhe are strugling to avoid relegation
They have 26 points ,15th place and 4 points behind Ahlen and Reutlingen
They have a good chance to get 3 points and get 1 point behind Ahlen who plays at Lubeck
So ill put my money on Karlsruhe
My pick Karlsruhe to win 2 odds 2.90@WorldBet

Danish Leauge
Randers FC vs Vejle 2 (2.50) Vejle had wonderful victories at the last couple of matches...and the reason is the new trainer..Their graphic is really going upwards...which is opposite with Randers FC. And the odds is for home team doesn't courage me up (2.20) 8O
Skive vs Hjørring 1 (1.80) Skive has lost the last match unluckly 1-0.to the top team Dalum. And Hjørring lost the last match at home to a team which has the record (0-1-20)...Skive is long better and has the capacity to get the 3 points..This match is the most sure match in Denmark.
Brøndby vs Køge >2.5 (1.70) There is a huge class differences between this two team. There will be 3-4 goals victory and Brøndby has the most famous and loyal spectators in the country.
That's my combo of the day...
Good luck

Well Pavel, I agree with your explanation. So my pick of the day is:
Estonia v. Great Britain - 1 @ 3.75 (Expekt)
Estonia won against Italy 2:1 and Italy beat the GB team 4:2. This event looks very encouraging to try bet on Estonia's victory.
In ice hockey everything is possible. It is very dynamic game, so it happens that big favourite can lose. In my opinion there is not so big different in the power of these teams.

My pick:
MANNHEIM - KARLSRUHE Under - 2.1- Pinnacle
When I bet unders (which I prefer much more than overs), I am looking exactly for such predictions as Lakini has made right there:
http://www.bettingadvice.com/showPre....php?idMenu=78
There is nothing better for under than weak teams playing boring football.

Blackhol3...you wanna get poor or what? EASILY BEAT???? I think Trier, Mainz, Frankfurt thought the same. Actually I wanted to take Mannheim-Karlsruhe UNDER as my pick of the day, but you are making me angry.
My Pick is now:
St.Pauli - Fürth 1 @2.5 Sportwetten-Gera
Pauli should win this one to stay in the league, they are having a great form lateley and will easily beat Fuerth, who is probably going to relegate next season.

Denmark - Superleague
OB v Farum X (3.30) @Gamebookers
By now the whole Europe must have heard about the team that hasn't got any draws in 21 games Farum is doing great in Danish championship (they are in 3rd place with a 12-0-9 record 8O), while OB are in 5th place, 5 points away. OB has a very good home record (7-4-1) and that's the only reason I don't give Farum's win as pick of the day. Anyway, if this game doesn't end in a draw either, maybe it's a good idea to place all of your money on a double chance (12) on all of Farum's games from now on

werder(a) - PADEBORN: 2 2.60 (gamebookers)
this game is important for both teams.home side is bad home team(4-3-5),but very good away team(8-3-3),on other side away team is very good away(6-4-3).away team need this 3. points very bad if they want to stay in the race for promotion.in my little opinion this is NO BET GAME,but this is best game for me today with high odds and chance for me to jump higher on the scale or.......

Houston v Milwaukee OVER 9@1.90.....willhill
PREVIEW:
After snapping their losing streak with a dramatic win on Wednesday, the Houston Astros look to generate some momentum as they visit the Milwaukee Brewers for the opener of a four-game series.
The Astros posted an 8-5 win over San Francisco on Wednesday, salvaging a win in their three-game series at Pacific Bell Park and ending their four-game losing streak. Houston rallied to overcome an early 5-0 deficit with eight straight runs.
``Your luck can change almost instantly in this game,'' said Craig Biggio, who hit a three-run homer. ``One minute nothing is falling in, the next your best players are getting key hits.''
The Brewers, meanwhile, have reverted to their losing ways after showing signs of life last week. Milwaukee suffered a 15-2 loss to St. Louis on Wednesday, its third loss in four games.
Milwaukee had won four of five before its current slide.
Wednesday's loss was the most lopsided defeat of the season for the Brewers, and it marked the fourth time they have been outscored by more than two runs.
Milwaukee starter Wayne Franklin was the main culprit on Wednesday, giving up nine earned runs, eight hits and three walks in just 3 2-3 innings.
``When you are behind constantly, they are going to make you pay for it,'' Brewers manager Ned Yost said.
After winning two series on the road last week, the Brewers will be trying for their first series win at home. Milwaukee is just 1-5 so far this year at Miller Park.
STANDINGS: Astros - 2nd place (tied), 1/2 GB, NL Central. Brewers - 5th place (tied), 4 GB, NL Central.
ASTROS PROBABLE STARTER: Tim Redding (0-1, 2.25 ERA). Redding pitched relatively well in his last start, but was a victim of poor run support in a 3-0 loss to St. Louis on Saturday. The right-hander gave up two runs, five hits and four walks in five innings, while striking out four. Redding is 1-1 with a 3.78 ERA in four career appearances against the Brewers.
BREWERS PROBABLE STARTER: Matt Kinney (1-1, 4.91 ERA). Kinney is coming off a strong start against Arizona on Saturday, allowing two runs in 5 2-3 innings for a 3-2 win. The right-hander allowed five hits and four walks in the win, while striking out six. Kinney has never faced the Astros.
OFFENSIVE LEADERS: Astros - Jeff Bagwell, .389 avg. and 5 HRs; Jeff Kent, 10 RBIs; Biggio, 11 runs and 2 SBs. Brewers - Geoff Jenkins, .364 avg.; Royce Clayton and Richie Sexson, 4 HRs; Clayton, 12 RBIs; Sexson, 10 runs; Eric Young, 3 SBs.
2002 SEASON SERIES: Astros, 10-8.
STREAKS AND NOTES: Astros - OF Biggio needs two homers and 18 steals to join Rickey Henderson, Joe Morgan, Paul Molitor, Bobby Bonds, Barry Bonds and Roberto Alomar as the only players to hit 200 homers and steal 400 bases. ... 1B Bagwell already has seven multihit games in his first 13 this season. ... The Astros lead the NL in one-run victories with five. Brewers - CF Alex Sanchez has been caught stealing in four of his six attempts, one season after swiping 37 bases in 51 attempts. ... Had the Brewers won Wednesday's game, it would have marked the first time since September 2000 they won three straight series. ... SS Clayton has 18 hits in 15 games. He had 16 all of April last year when he was with the Chicago White Sox.
ROAD/HOME RECORDS: Astros - 3-2 on the road; Brewers - 1-5 at home.
INJURIES: Astros - LHP Carlos Hernandez (rotator cuff), 15-day DL. Brewers - OF Jeffrey Hammonds (ankle), 15-day DL; RHP Jayson Durocher (elbow), 15-day DL; RHP Nick Neugebauer (shoulder), 15-day DL.

Pick of the day
My pick of the day is from Danish Premier:
Silkeborg - FC København UNDER 2.5 GOALS @1.85 (GAMEBOOKERS)
FC København will have a difficult task today as they have some players missing. An under 2.5 goals bet looks good as the home team will play a defensive game...
GOOD LUCK PPL!

My pick today is from Euroleague:
Barcelona v Union Olimpija -8.5/+8.5: 1 (1,85-GB)
I saw Barca live last week in Athens and i can say that this team can lose very very difficult!!!They have quality players that can damage any defence! Now they are extremely motivated too!If they lose by Olimpija(by up to 18 points) and Olympiakos win in France, then my team will make it to FINAL 4.If they lose by more than 18p. Olimpija will go to the final 4(nomatter if Olympiakos wins or not) BUT if they win(BARCA) they will be hosting the final 4 and will be FAVOURITE team to win the tournament!!!
I BET THEY WILL WIN BY 10 p.(I WISH THEY LOSE-AS OLYMPIAKOS FAN
TAKE CARE

My pick
Hard day to give non-risky good pick, so I give the best I can think...
Satori to win @ 4.15 with Unibet
Sweden Trotting Åby race 7 evening
Some risky pick now, but Satori looks as favourite. Diver and trainer is one of the bests. It`s very probable thats Satori will take leadership at the start and hold it to the finish. Wish me luck in this pick 8)

Dallas was stuck in a two games to one series hole entering Tuesday's fourth
tilt, and the top-seeded Stars responded with a 3-1 victory. Stu Barnes and
Niko Kapanen scored goals just 23 seconds apart in the third period to lift
the victors, and Marty Turco rebounded from a rough outing with 23 saves.
Sergei Zubov also scored for the Stars, who welcomed captain Derian Hatcher
back to the ice after a one-game suspension.
"We played a helluva hockey game," said Stars head coach Dave Tippett. "A
great effort from Marty Turco. He was excellent. Our captain dominant. Plenty
of effort from everyone. It's a great confidence builder."
Shawn Horcoff scored the lone goal for Edmonton early in the third period, and
Tommy Salo finished with 25 saves in defeat.
Hatcher's presence was enormous for Dallas after some shoddy defensive play
cost the Stars in the third period of Game 3. He was a plus-2 on Tuesday and
leads the league at plus-5 in the playoffs.
Turco, meanwhile, allowed two "soft" goals in the third tilt and had many
wondering if his confidence would be shaken considering this is his first
taste of the Stanley Cup playoffs.
"Marty is looking more comfortable every game. And our guys seemed to have
focused, or become more in tune with the rhythm of the game," said Tippett.
In the five previous playoff meetings between these teams since 1997, two have
lasted more than five games. In 1997 the Oilers won in seven contests, while
the 2001 clash saw the Stars emerge in six.
Dallas, however, has history on its side, as the team has won the last six
series when tied 2-2 after four games -- against San Jose (1998), St. Louis
(1999), Buffalo (1999), Colorado (1999, 2000) and Edmonton (2001). Edmonton,
meanwhile, is 4-3 in its history when a set is deadlocked at two games apiece.
On the injury front, the Oilers suffered a blow on Tuesday, as winger Radek
Dvorak sustained a broken right hand in Game 4. Dvorak, who tallied the game-
winner in the third contest, is sidelined indefinitely.
Game 6 will be played Saturday night at the Skyreach Centre in Edmonton
