8th pick, 106 units

Uefa Cup, football

Aston Villa FC v AFC Ajax

2:1 PICK WON

Villans are excited to have big European clash again at their Villa Park.
O'Neill said that they are delighted to play Ajax in mach with such importance and promised to the public that his team will give their best today.
They are currently 6th in EPL, their form is average, in last round they drawn with Pompeys(0-0), lost at Stamford Bridge before that(0-2).
Bouma will be the only missing player(long term injury).
Ajax's dominance in domestic league is over for a while now, PSV took over and they seem to be fading in European Competitions too.
They have perfect home record in Eredivisie, but having problems on the road, as usually.
Villa looks like a safe bet here, although odds aren't too high, i'm going to pick them cause i believe they are, overall, better team with bigger motivation and i doubt they'll fail to win in this match.
Ajax, currently isn't a team which could survive 90 mins at Villa Park, and i think they have bigger worries on their mind, like how to finally break into CL after they were unsuccesfull for two consecutive years.

Pick: Aston Villa @1.85

Stake: 7/10

Pick # 9

1/7 - 500

Marcel Granollers - Simone Bolelli

0:2 PICK WON

Quote:
Well, for me Marcel Granollers is one of the worst players who were in Top50 in quite a while. I had the (un)pleasure to watch him live this season and in my opinion he has no big weapon, bad technique and bad attitude. Maybe my vision is blured because of that I watched him only once, but his results support my theory. After the spectacular start of the season and his maiden ATP title in Houston (all of which were overachievement in my opinion) - he completely lost the plot in the 2nd part of the year. Between Wimbledon and Masters in Madrid he went 4-14 in his matches and his wins were either over injured players or some from the lower posrts of the rankings. A week ago he started playing better once more - but there are also some excuses for that. He defeated completely out of form Ljubicic, extremely tired Mathieu and went to three sets with out of form Tsonga. Today he defeated injured Baghdatis. On the paper it looks quite OK, but when going deeper into it - there was no extreme surprise. His game ? He is rather a baseliner, who has a decent forehand, mediocre backhand and quite good serve. His volleys are OK, after all he is well estabilished doubles player. Nothing more, nothing less.

He will face interesting Italian - Simone Bolelli in round two. Bolelli is much more talented player in my opinion. He is the rare Italian, who isn't intimidated by playing indoors, despite not having the game for sych conditions. But he is quick, has great forehand and can finish the points from the baseline. His motivation also should be quite high. After all Bolelli was banned from Italian federation by refusing playing Davis Cup. He said that regular ATP tournaments are far more important for him and he wants to play as much as possible and get as high as possible. And that he is ready to dump his national team to focus only on ATP calendar. Italian is having quite good period lately. He played really well and was close against Gonzalez in Vienna. Then he defeated Almagro in Madrid and Berdych in Basel. Very good results and in all these matches he was clear underdog.

I have no doubt that Bolelli is a better player here. He likes playing indoors and already defeated Granollers this year. It was on clay, but the odds then were 1.60 - 2.50 in Italian's favour and should be close to it today as well.
This preview is mine ops:

Odds: 1.81

Pick #6 (1W 4L -300u)

Uefa Cup
Partizan Belgrad vs Sampdoria
Pick: Draw 3.25 (bet365)

1:2 PICK LOST

Partizan has been doing quite well for themself in the national league but a few players might be out for this game...Djordjevic is out for sure, Sikimic&Moreira are doubtful because of injuries.
Very compatible with Sampdoria and this will be a tight game for sure. Lost out to Fenerbache(4-3)in the CL qualification.

Sampdoria needs to get back on track after two disappointing losses(played well against Milan though)in the last rounds of serie A. Before that they had 3straight draws and only letting in 1goal so they know how to defend
but not how to score. I think that both Palombo and Campagnaro are out for this game and they are as important as the missing players for Belgrad so even there it's a draw.

Pick #4 (1/2 + 50)
Europe – UEFA Cup
CSKA Moscow – Deportivo La Coruna (Thu 23 Oct 18:00)
pickL: CSKA Moscow -1.5@ 3.55 Gamebookers

3:0 PICK WON

Quote:
CSKA head coach Valery Gazzaev gave pre-match interview and said that Deportivo is a typcal representative of Spanish football.
"We watched Deportivo previous match against Racing yesterday," said Gazzaev. "I have a perfect knowledge about our competitors. It’s typical representative of Spanish league. They have a rich football history, as they used to be Spain’s best club and played in the Champions League playoffs. They are not so strong nowadays, but they are still good middle class Spanish team. Their strongest side is defence line."
"CSKA has 19 players, who can come in the starting line-up. Taking into consideration our tough match schedule, we are not going to introduce drastic changes in the roster."
"We have already used to play both in domestic championship and in international tournaments with such regime. At the same time I always said that I give my preference to our national competition. Winning UEFA Cup trophy is prestigious, but Russian Premier League is more important. We will do everything possible to overcome Rubin in the standings."
"I agree with Deportivo head coach as saying that CSKA is the group favorite."
Quote:
Deportivo head coach Miguel Angel Lotina spoke to Sport Express ahead of the game.

"Only one team stands out in our group," said Lotina. "CSKA is stronger than their competitors, while the other four clubs are of almost equal level. So I think our chances to reach playoffs are rather high."

"CSKA go among leaders in the Russian championship, while Deportivo occupy the eleventh position in Spain. Poland camp is also at the leading positions, but their league is not so strong."

"I can say that CSKA have firm defence line with Russian national side players, who don’t need words to understand each other on the pitch. We got wide knowledge about defence during Euro-2008."

"They have dangerous strikers. We know that they featured a young ambitious player, who had already made his debut in the national team [Alan Dzagoev]. And of course Vagner Love is their main threat."

"I keep an eye on the Russian Premier League and I know that CSKA is going on the second place in the champions race. Spartak, Zenit, Lokomotiv and Torpedo are well-known clubs in Spain. Following continental tournament many people turn their eyes to Russia, so taking into account our coming match with CSKA, we tried to collect as much information about them as possible."

"I believe that seven points will be enough to qualify from the group, six points will do for the second place. In any case, our key target is to reach playoffs, and I suppose we are capable to do it."
Well, what can I say....CSKA is in great form now, last time they lost:
Jul 20, 2008 Premier League Lost CSKA Moskva 0 - 2 FK Moskva
after that they played 16 games, won 14 of them.

no important missing, good motivation, good team spirit. Vagner Love, Zhirkov and Dzagoev is really on fire.
Imo Deportivo is ready to lose this game.
my prediction 2-0.
Gl to all.

pick no 4 2/3 +122
FC Schalke 04 (-1)EH v Paris Saint-Germain FC
pick: Schalke
3,00@bet365

3:1 PICK WON

Schalke will host PSG is a game from UEFA Cup but it seems PSG arent so motivated for this game.
PSG will play the classico Sunday against Marseille with a more importance for PSG.Shalke will have an easy game against Bielefield so they should be enough concetrated for this game and not for the weekend game.
There are some missing from the team of PSG:Ceara, Bourillon, Z. Camara, Makelele, Sessègnon et Hoarau, Giuly. It seems that the coach of PSG will rest some players.
Acording to latest news, PSG didnt even do the training one day before the game.
Schalke is strong at home and they havent lost any game at home this season.PSG isnt impresive in away games and in dont think they will score.
All in all i belive that the home team will win this on home ground against a team who will not play with the best 11 they have.
A win by 2 or more is possible for Schalke who has a experience in european Cups.
The odds are ok and imo those worth a try but medium stake.
GL!

pick no 6 3/2 +225
SC Heerenveen - AC Milan
Pick: over 3.5
2.9 @expekt

1:3 PICK WON

Milan is favorite in this game and they will try to score from the begining, and they probably will , but I dont think that they will manage to get a clear victory. Milan received goals from some of the worst teams in Seria A this year.

What to say about Herenven, always a lot of goals. Last season their average per game was over 3.5 goals- 136 goals in 34 league games they played. Same thing is happening this season also, in their last 6 league games the lowest score was 2-1, all other games were finished with over 3.5. Agains Ajax they have scored 5 goals .

good luck

pick no 4 2/1 +105
Sevilla(-1) Stuttgart
Pick: 1(european handicap)
2.6 @expekt

2:0 PICK WON

Sevilla has never conceded a goal at home when playing with german team=>never lost.
Stuttgart in 4 visits in Spain drew once(0:0)and lost 3 times=>never won.
Palop has yesterday birtday, he is unbeaten/not conceded a single goal from over 630minutes!!! I don't expekt to concede tonight as well.
In 26 home games Sevilla scored at least one goal(in 20 of they min 2!).
In 14 games Sevilla won 12 and only 2 drew.
Stuttgart lost last two away games.
Spanish league is stronger than german(in previous season f.e. VFB Barca 0:2& Barca VFB 3:1, Schalke Atletico 1:0-but Aguero didn't play, Atletico Vfb 4:0 and couple others results).
The last but not least Sevilla at home in European cups lost only once or twice(much over 50 games if remember well)!!

Sevilla 1 9/10
Sevila -1 5/10

P.S. One team that certainly defeated Sevilla in Spain was AZ(very strong in away games in that season).

Pick #6
3won - 2lost
+210

Dinamo Zagreb - NEC Nijmegen

3:2 PICK WON

This won't be easy. NEC was defeated only once since April (away to SC Heerenveen) and they have every right to hope for a good result here in Zagreb. On the other hand Dinamo is 1st in Croatia but didn't impress lately. In European Cup competition Dinamo is even worse this season (1:3 against Shakhtar Donjeck, 1:1 vs. Linfield and 0:0 against Sparta Praha). In past couple of years Dinamo showed poor performance at home but, call it a gut feeling, their luck could change today. NEC is everything but an easy opponent, despite John Collins, Joey Brock and Dominigue Scholten stayed home - but with an agressive approach (come on Branko, it's time for some risk) Dinamo can grab 3 points tonight. Good thing for Dinamo is that some important players were not playing in last round against Šibenik (2:2) and they will be fresh tonight. Despite NEC is doing preety well at the moment we must not forget they finished "just" 8th in Eredivisie last year and on 10th place two seasons ago. Pitch is not in excellent condition but which is decreasing chances for NEC to get something from this game. Sorry for a short preview, have some work to do. GL

Pick: Dinamo, Odds: 2.00, Stake: 5, Bookmaker: Pinnacle

Pick #7
(3/6 +190)

Norway: Icehockey (18:30 CET)

STJERNEN v FURUSET 1 (-3.5) @ 2.50 - BETSAFE

8:2 PICK WON

In the first 1/4 of the league season, Furuset lost by 4+ goals to six of the other nine teams; only low scoring Comet and Lørenskog failing to thrash them. Well, except for Vålerenga but that's just typical of the fallen giants. Stjernen won 7:3 and I think they'll be in the mood to try to copy that, or go even better.

Now, Furuset have somewhat improved in their last couple of games keeping the scoreline low both against Vålerenga (again!) and Frisk, who are on an unbelievable run of draws (6!), but I think it doesn't nescessarily have to mean much and can see them in for a result more to their normal again now.

Stjernen got 5 on Lørenskog on Saturday which is a major achievement and suggests they are finally able to bring out all the goals that lives inside them, and they are very attacking minded now, so the Furuset goalie will have a busy night. No reported injuries in the Stjernen camp, which means the outstanding Henric Höglund (8 goals + 9 assists) will be there, looking to follow up his three goals from Saturday.

I simply can't see Stjernen wasting this chance and I trust they won't slow down either so there is a good chance we'll see a high final scoreline - mostly thanks to the home team alone. What worries me is the financial mess they are in - I can't ignore the possibility that a defeat tonight at odds close to 10 could be quite convenient for them (their director has in fact a criminal record) but I like to think it is far more important for them to keep up with their arch rivals who are topping the league (Stjernen 2nd, eight pts behind) - and I would think drawing higher crowds by maintaining their good form is a better way to go (speaking of this - according to their coach everyone is getting paid and his players appear unaffected by the turbulence) so normally we could expect Stjernen to score 6-7 goals at least while Furuset will hardly get more than a consolation goal or two - the odds for a clear margin homewin look very tasty indeed.

Pick #7 (2-3) -168

Finnish SM-Liiga
KalPa - Ilves

Pick: Kalpa
Odds: 2.1
Bookie: Nordicbet

2:1 PICK WON

KalPa has been one of the biggest surprises on a positive way in this season and Ilves has been a big surprise too because of their weak results and most importantly, horrendous performances.

Ilves has played 6 away games this season and have lost all of them. What's more bad is that they haven't been even close to get a draw in either of those games! Team has pretty much no hands so the only place the manage to get results is their home rink. Home crowd can lift you up and then dump-and-chase might work but when you have to defend on away games it hasn't work at all.

KalPa is a huge favorite in this game and I go with something like 7/10 with these odds.

Basketball: Europe, EuroLeague Women 2008/2009 - Group Phase - 2nd Day
Today: 23.10.2008, 17:30 CET

Lotos PKO BP Gdynia - UMMC Ekaterinburg (-18)

71:82 PICK LOST

Pick: 2 (40 mins only)
Odds: 1.90
Bookmaker: Ladbrokes

Analyse:
Basketball: Europe, EuroLeague Women 2008/2009 - Group Phase - 2nd Day. UMMC Ekaterinburg plays on the road but ofcourse in this match is big favourite. They started this season fantastic in all areas, in Euroleague because in first match they beat without any problems solid Jolly JBS Sibenik 92:62 on the road but also in Russian Superleague because after 2 matches they have 2 easy wins, with Slavyanka Cheliabinsk 106:60 and also on the road with solid Vologda-Chevakata 91:57. Now match with Lotos PKO BP Gdynia who was 2nd team in last season in Polish PLKK. We all know that UMMC Ekaterinburg, have a great squad, dream team when we compare with Lotos roster, for example: Agnieszka Bibrzycka, Deanna Nolan, Cappie Pondexter, Penny Taylor, Asja Jones and Elena Baranova, all on highest european level. In this season UMMC Ekaterinburg in all matches always more than 90 pts scored, great offensive play but also fantastic solid defense because as I said only 57, 60, 62 points conceded in each matches of this season. Lotos PKO BP Gdynia is not the same team from last season. In Poland ofcourse very strong but in european arena there is different story. We saw that for example in first euroleague matche when they played with Spanish Ros Casares Valencia. They lost by 42 points on the road and now for sure not so good psychic form. UMMC Ekaterinburg plays on the road, Lotos PKO BP Gdynia have own fans and handicap because play at home but still difference is too big between this two teams. Very important fact is that in UMMC team we will see the strongest squad because after missing game with Jolly JBS Sibenik to russian team returned Deanna Nolan. Match against Vologda-Chevakata (12 points, 2 rebounds, 3 assists) prooved that she is very important part of the team. I am sure they will play on 100% from 1st to last minute. Ofcourse I didn't expact easy and high for example by 40 pts win. Will be hard because Lotos PKO BP Gdynia is a much more dangerous at home but for sure UMMC Ekaterinburg is enogh strong to beat Lotos PKO BP Gdynia by 19 points or more, goodluck.

7th pick
Nancy - Feyenoord +1 pick 1 Bet365 4.00

3:0 PICK WON

This is pick base of really poor Feyenoord these days.
They have lots of problems. Already few years now, they going down,down... Where they come?
They lost their last two league matches against NEC and Willem II?
And for me that is enough.
They are tottaly out of form, and they have some injury players, very important: Lucius,Denny Landzaat and Jon Dahl Tomasson wont play,
Makaay is doubtfull. This is to much for them.

On the other hand Nancy bad, too. But still this team can play at home good, they can make suprise. 1-4-0 at home and score only 3 goals!
But they will be today higly motivated, and they can win poor Feyenord.
Chrétien, Curbelo and Adjet injury for Nancy...

So, HOME WIN 6/10.
with HAN. HOME WIN 3/10.

GL

1:3 PICK LOST

The team from Danemark have really impressed me in this periode. They 've manage to achive UEFA groups even russian were favorites. In previous tours they have results like 7-0 and 4-0 against Cliftonville .
Previous 3 games at home and 0 conceded tells me much about their value .
St Etienne with 2 important injuries : Landrin (midfield) and Dabo (defender) and also with noting to impress I think will loose today.

Good odds for this handicap so I'm taking it!

Pick 8 4w/3l +393

Football, UEFA Cup

Aston Villa - Ajax

Pick: Over 3.5
Odds: 3.20
Bookie: NordicBet

2:1 PICK LOST

Well, wanted to take Villa (-1) here, but Villa is already taken , so I'll try with over then, which is IMO also good bet.
I watched most of Ajax games this season and gotta say, that in defensive side they didn't change much, I mean their defense is still quite shaky, makes mistakes and gives their rivals atleast few good chances to score in every game, even against weaker teams. Especialy they are not feeling comfortable in away fixtures (2:2 vs Feyenord, 2:5 vs Heerenven).
Villa in other hand maybe is not the scoring machine this season, but they definitely has the power in offense. Carew, rising star Agbonlahor or players like Petrov, Reo-****er, Young, Barry, Harewood can cause lot of problems to shaky Ajax defense.
Villa's coach M.O'Neill stated that he did his homeworks, knows Ajax very good and Villa will play attacking football and win is the only outcome that suits his team.
So we can expect Villa to push hardly from the start and if they'll get an early goal, then we should see very open game here, cause I remember Ajax games from this and previous seasons when they conceded early goals. It turn out into a goals' shows most of the times.
Also let's not forget that Ajax also has good players in offense (f.e. Huntelaar, Suarez), they creates lot of chances in their games, but the problem is that they can't convert most of them into goals. Still, I'm sure that we'll see atleast few good chances today too and if I'm going with over here, I'm hoping for atleast a goal from Ajax. They are definitely capable of that.
All in all, IMO with any score on the scoreboard one of the team will be forced to attack, if they wants to get the outcome they are expecting from this clash. So over is quite probable here. My call would be 3:1.

23 October 2008
FC Copenhagen / FC Copenhagen
odd 3.40
bookie: bwin

Team that fights to end top 3 this season, team that beat FC MOSCOW 3-2 and showed great determination to get into the group stage, team that beat alborg 3-0, and made good start this year VSteam that strugles playing away from home, team that played 5 away games and scored one goal in all five games, not winining one. Taking points in this one is just a bad dream for ST Etienne. FCK full team no fresh injuries for ST ETIENNE M.Dabo , Ilan , Landrin and Sall, two of them are important. Odds are falling down, and the value is still there.

Pick 5 so far 4/0 +381

Euroleague-men basketball

Cibona vs Maccabi

Pick Over 163.5 @1.93 Pinnacle[/b]

81:79 PICK LOST

First euroleague game for both teams. As far i remember both teams never been known as defensive minded teams.Of course season just started but as the results shows, both love attacking basketball.Maccabi this year signed with Arroyo, and when you have offensive coach with sucha fast playmaker you cant play slow.
On the other hand Cibona in last 3 adriatic league games combined 171 points average per game.Seems also prefer to attack more .
On the other hand, first game for both and noone like to lose especially home team Cibona,so it can be factor against over, but i believe first game sindrom will not efect the teams percentage of shooting. Also i expect close game till the game and much points in the last minutes. So for me today two offensive teams cant play defensive basketball.Over is my choice.Good luk

Achilles asked me to remove his bet and he will write the preview once more, as he made some mistakes. Just for your notice.

Pick #2 1/0 - +120

Pick: Benfica (+0)
Odds: 2.22
Bookmaker: 10bet

1:1 PICK VOID

Hertha : Drobny - Chahed, A. Friedrich, Simunic, M. Stein - Lustenberger, Dardai, Cicero, Nicu - Raffael - Voronin

Benfica : Quim - Pereira Paez, Luisao, Sidnei, Jorge Ribeiro - Carlos Martins, Katsouranis, Yebda, Reyes - Nuno Gomes - Cardozo

I see a big class difference here between these two teams.
Benfica had bad results in past few years, this season ex-Valencia coach Quique Flores took control and brought many famous and quality players to the team.
Benfica have a great team with many quality players as Suazo,Cardozo,Aimar,Di Maria,Reyes etc.
Aimar is injured and will not play today.
Quique Flores will start with Nuno Gomes - Cardozo duo..Suazo will be on bench.

Pantelic missed the last training with the team and he has problems with the Coach and team.
Hertha is a middle table team of Germany, maybe worse..I cannot compare these two teams..Not in same level.

No doubt on Benfica's huge European Cups experience.
Benfica is different this season and this group includes dangerous teams.

*Galatasaray (in good form and have a great squad, especially offencive players + big experience on European Cups)

*Olympiakos (Ever year playing on European Cups, have a good team with quality South American players as Diogo,Belluchi,Galletti etc.)

*Metalist Kharkiv (Big question mark, trashed Besiktas 4-1 with a great football..Could be dangerous, especially in Ukraine.)

*Hertha Berlin : Weakest team of the group.

Benfica DNB is a much safer option here.

Pick number 8
3/7 -77

Udinese Calcio – Tottenham Hotspur
23.10.2008 19:10 CET
Football – UEFA Cup

Pick: Tottenham Hotspur DNB
Odds: 3.00 Bet365

2:0 PICK LOST

Why?
Hello! I think Tottenham will show they aren’t over this season.
Italians are in nice form. They won 4 out of 7 last games and drew 2 matches. The only game they lost was ...UEFA Cup home game, against Borussia Dortmund (0:2). Tottenham meanwhile took only one point in last 4 games. I think today it’s time to break this bad streak. Europeans Cup are different competition, where form from domestic league doesn’t mean much.
Udinese players must be in perfect form. They have been playing very good, especially in offense, with creative Di Natale and Quagiarella. But today they don’t play against Torino or Siena. In my opinion coach Marino hasn’t got as strong bench as Londons have. Tottenham isn’t in form, that’s ok. But they still have got potential. Juande Ramos is the coach, who definitely knows how to turn things right. I wouldn’t say they won’t care UEFA Cup because their first target is to stay in Premier League. We could say the same with Udinese, that will face Roma in Seria A. I think such arguments aren’t good. Spaniard said at club site: "Udinese is the most important, Bolton is also important but we have to look at Udinese first and try to get the best possible result”. Alan Hutton added he and mates haven’t lost belief. Tottenham is the team that have skillful players like Jenas, Modric, Bent, King, Zokora or nice GK Gomes. Pavlyuchenko, Corluka and Huddelstone are the only players who won’t play today.
Well, Juand Ramos is big coach. He was able to make Sevilla big, I think today he will start good period of Spurs. I don’t see them losing this game. Good luck!

Pick# 7 4/6 +235

Handball Sweden 19:00 CET

H 43 - Skövde HK IFK
Pick: HK 43 (-2,5) 2,04 @ Pinnacle

24:22 PICK LOST

Skovde sho was at top few years ago last year worse and this also nothing special. Last one won at home 31-21 but over poor Tubma with is almost in the bottom of table. Away one win over Lindesberg LIF which is not mighty. We all know it is hard to win away in handball. This time i don't see Skovde favourites especially they did'nt show any superb play recently.

HK 43 faced stronger rival till now. Lost to Lugi HK by 5, lost to Alingsis HK by only 1 point and won over Hammarby IF by 4 away!! Last match lost also unfortunately only by one point. Lindqvist is in form after last match and home ground ahould help today. HK have 65 anniversary this week and it will be celebrated on Saturday. But it is still good point for motivation today and they don't want to have such party after 4 losses in a row. After last good season HK wants more and IMHO can afford that.

So Two similar teams but HK 43 motivated at home and slightly better recently in my eyes. Handicup not big. They surely can cover that with nice odds. GL!

Pick #6 (3/2) +111

Soccer - Uefa Cup Group G
Rosenborg - Club Brugge
Pick Rosenborg (-0.5)AH @ 2.1 (unibet)

0:0 PICK LOST

Cant say much about Rosenborg. I've heard that they started to play a bit better with their new coach. Competition is going to its end in Norway. Third place is the highest place they can get. But they depend on other teams to get to third place. In the past, Rosenborg has always played better football in Europe than in Norway. Especially at home they are hard to beat.

Club Brugge on the other hand is gathering alot of points in Belgium Jupiler Pro League. 5 wins, 2 draws and nil losses. That are some impressive numbers. They havent played against any good team yet (apart from winning away at Genk and winning at home against Cercle). Their football isnt impressive at all. Normally their football should be much better than last year. With the signing of Vargas and Dirar, they now have good wingers. But the pieces dont fit yet. The rely mostly on the form of their 2 strikers. Sonck and Akpala are in good form lately and both are scoring some important goals. And like last year they are very good at corners and free kicks. Brugge has alot of good headers in their team and scoring rather easily at corners.
Coach Matthysen is saying in newspapers he will focus a bit more on defence. So Vargas might start on the bench. Blondel (def. midfielder) will probably replace him.
The defence of Brugge isnt their best part. They got a very good goalie. But Alcaraz and Ciman havent convinced me yet. Also Simays isnt in his best form. So relying on a clean sheet isnt a good option.

Pick#2, 1/1 +171

Heerenveen SC - AC Milan
Pick:
AC Milan, Odds: 1.79 @ Pinnacle

1:3 PICK WON

Heerenveen are facing italian team for first team and will probably have doubuts about the game they will introduce.
Milan are constantly improving and do very well in Serie A. Indzaghi is back with a goal while Nesta also returns in the team. Ronaldinho gets used to the team style and i expect him to explode very soon.
Hosts have some doubts about this game like Popov and Drost. I think these odds represent good value and should be tried. Milan is a strong favourite here.
Since over is already taken i chose clear away win althoug hosts` attackers are in great form but their defense still has what to improve.

Pick #6 so far +237

UEFA CUP matches

Partizan Belgrade vs Sampdoria

Draw already taken / VOID

Tough match in Belgrade on JNA stadium. Its gonna be hard match for the home squad.

Sampdoria have been doing badly in Serie A, but now with the Uefa Cup round they will try not to disappoint their fans.

Partizan is in very good form in their league(they beat Red Star in their derby by 2:0)and probably will win the league without any further problems.

But playing in Europe makes a huge difference on your motive.
I think that Partizan will try not to lose this game by playing very defensive on the last line.
My opinion is that Sampdoria will be able only to take a point in Belgrade
So,it will be a pure draw.
GL all the best

Pick --- 5, 2w/2L, +24 i think

UEFA CUP
Sevilla - Stuttgart

pick --- over 3.5 goals
odds --- 3.15 --- Bet365

2:0 PICK LOST

Like WKSkofu said earlyer Sevilla s hot favorite for winning this game. Its true that they are at home and that Spain is stronger league than Germany. But today it will not be that easy. Its also true that Sevilla didnt concede goal long time (I think 7 games), but in that games they played with not so great teams: Almeria, Athletic Bilbao, Salzburg, Atletico Madrid, Espanyol, Betis, Salzburg again. Only Atl. Madrid is better team but they were not in form. I remember how Sportng Gijon score 3 times at Sevilla ground. Game finished 4-3. That was last time whe Sevilla conceded goal-s.

Stuttgart is nice team and they are so understmated here. Odds 1.52 for Sevilla win are not any value for such a game.
Stuttgart are always fighters and they always play games with goals. Lats 4 games for them were over 2.5 (2 of them over 3.5).

I think Sevilla will not hold without conceding one or more goals today. Stuttgart have Gomez who can score at any tme, with any team (he scored 5 times in last 3 UEFA cup games this season). Sevilla are favorites, they can win but not so easy. Stuttgart will fight and they can make this game very ineresting. Goals here.
My results 2:2 or 3:2 for any team.
