Default French ligue 2

I know this league is very strange last time, many surprises.

Although, in betting it chances the whole time isn't it? How about Caen and Strasbourg? Will they win?

Brest - Guingamp 1 @2.33 betfair

Brest showing 2 clear things in the new year. They are a tough nut
to break and their determination to stay in the league.
Brest is 1-1-1-3-1 in 2007, but what is more impressiv is the fact
they Drew the number 1, 2, 7 & 13 of the league and beating Bastia
who again beat both the number 1 & 2 in this phase.
Now it's time to convert those great results into another win.
The opponent is the right one imo, as Guingamp lost their recent
away games 0-2 (both), showing they have problems with their away
games.
Brest won their last 2 mutual games at their place 1-0 (both) and I'm
expecting a result close to those this time too.
The UNDER seems as a "banker" here, but odds around 1.45 represent
no value. I even consider a small cover wit the exact 0-0 result...

6/10

...my POD btw (even if that's no good recommendation)

Strasbourg vs Creteil
it's look like easy home win. odds are not so high and probably nothing will change. Racing didn't lose in this season on their playing ground, it's 4th in league and want to take points in games like that with opponents like Creteil. Visitors are 4th from back of league and they not playing good football at moment. Best stats to this game are: Strasbourg goals at home 20-6, Creteil goals away 6-22!!! Strasbourg have some missing but even them should not stop this team from win.
last game 2006-09-15 Creteil Strasbourg 0 : 2
injuries/suspensions
- Racing: Cohade, Tum 6 buts; Mouloungui 5 buts ; Abdessadki, Rangelov 2 buts ; Bellaid, Gameiro, Joao Paulo, Perbet, Johansen, Gasmi, Ekobo, Strasser 1 but
- Créteil: Vairelles 4 buts; Boulebda 2 buts; Argelier, Effa Owona, El Omari, Pataca, L. Pancrate, J. Perez, Salzé1 but
Strasbourg @1.36 stake 8

Metz vs Dijon
Metz plaing in this season really good. they are on the top of 2nd french and 4pts lead. they has two home draws after cup loose against Lille, but last home win against second team Cean 2-0 made imprssion.
last game 2006-09-15 Dijon Metz 0 : 3
Dijon not playing bad football but there is difference between these two teams. Dijon not plaing straight, sometimes losing against poor teams like (Libourne St.Seurin or Reims). Metz is the best playing team at home in 2nd french division.
Metz @1.61 stake 7

Istres vs Tours
good odds for home team. Istres grab 17pts for 39 possible at home and don't look so bad against 4pts away for Tours. that will be game between two worst teams in league but someone should win and Istres have something to do it. last Istres home game end 2-0 against Chateauroux and that can make us optimistic before this game. Tours have some "good" games last time but IMO it's not enough for Istres who should win against poor teams and take rewange for last game.
last game 2006-09-15 Tours Istres 2 : 0
injuries/suspensions
- Istes: Julien VIALE (4 buts), Hassan SOUARI (3 buts), Garra DEMBELE, Nicolas GOUSSE, Christophe AUBANEL (2 buts), Lahoucine KHARBOUCH, Anthony SICHI, Johan CAVALLI, Richard SURIANO, Mamoutou COULIBALY (1 but)
- Tours: Christophe MANDANNE (5 buts), Tony VAIRELLES, Vincent DOUKANTIE (3 buts)
Papa Kouly DIOP, Ghislain GIMBERT, Rémi MAREVAL (2 buts), Cédric COLLET, Michel RODRIGUEZ, Armand RAIMBAULT (1 but).
Istres @1.90 stake 5

i also want to bet on draw Brest vs Guingamp but i'll write later with some more infos

Match: Bastia v Montpellier
Date: 23/2/07
Time: 20:00 cet
Recommended bet: Bastia -0.5 AH @ 1.98 Bet1128 4/10

In form Bastia play Montpellier at Le Stade Furiani and will be hoping to maintain their good recent run of results. A couple of excellent wins against Caen and Metz was followed up by a decent 0-0 draw in Dijon. This was a game the Corsicans probably deserved to win, but they just couldn’t find the back of the net. The turnaround of results has even had talk of promotion whispered again, but if they are to maintain any sort of challenge then they must go on a run of about 5-6 straight wins. That means claiming all 3 points against Montpellier this Friday.

They are definitely favourites to get the win they need and only a few player are set to miss out through injuries. I’d expect an aggressive Bastia who will be well supported here on home turf. Both Caen and Metz fell at Le Stade Furiani and Montpellier will also if Bastia play as they did in those matches. On current form, Les Bleus look good value to make it 3 consecutive home victories on the trot.

Montpellier are still unbeaten in 2007 and that’s a run which stretches 5 games. But except for the 0-0 against Strasbourg, they have played fairly easy opposition. This trip to Bastia will definitely be a tough one, and one which they look likely to suffer defeat in. both Caen and Metz, two very good teams lost at this stadium recently so Montpellier will certainly have to raise their level a bit. In their last match, they drew 0-0 against Brest in what was a boring encounter.

Prior to that they were lucky to draw 2-2 in Libourne. Away from home there are still many question marks about the south coast club and they never seem to play as well on the road. There are a few injuries in the squad ahead of Fridays game, Padula and Ait Alia amongst others. I’d expect the visitors to be defensive and look for the draw, but it wont be easy against an in form opponent.

Bastia -0.5 AH @ 1.98 Bet1128 4/10

Bastia Injured: Nee (C, att), Ghisolfi (B, mid)
Bastia suspended: Dolci (B, def)

Montpellier Injured: Darbion (B, mid), Padula (C, mid), Ait Alia (C, mid), Oliseh 9C ,mid)
Montpellier suspended: N'gambi (B, def), Mendy (B, def)

Match: Gueugnon v Chateauroux
Date: 23/7/07
Time: 20:00 cet
Recommended bet: Gueugnon -0.25 AH @ 2.02 Pinnacle 4/10

Gueugnon who have won 4 of their last 5 at home, welcome Chateauroux who have only lost 2 of their last 9. The hosts will be looking to claim another decent home win and they are finally starting to find some consistency at Le Stade Jean Laville. Last season this place was a fortress, but they didn’t start the year to well in front of their own fans. They defeated Guingamp here 2-0 a couple of weeks ago and will be confident of inflicting defeat upon Chateauroux. But this can also be a very inconsistent team, that is capable of anything.

Last weekend they collapsed when leading 1-0 in Tours, eventually losing 1-2. This was against the bottom of the table team and a match they were expected to at least draw. Many times we have seen Gueugnon struggle when they are expected to get results yet surprise when they should lose. This game is one they will raise their level for and the squad in in good condition. But for the long term injuries, only Larsen Toure and Frederic Adam remain doubts for this game. Gueugnon are definitely capable of winning the encounter, and will be difficult to defeat.

Chateauroux have an injury list of about 9 players currently and the squad has been depleted a bit in recent weeks. They scrapped their way to a 1-1 draw at home to Strasbourg last weekend, but this was hardly a convincing performance from Les Berrichone. Their promotion hopes are certainly still alive but they must get themselves on a run of straight victories to get them right back on the heels of the leaders. But they will certainly need to improve their away form if they are achieve their ambitions. A run of just 1 win in 7 on the road has definitely increased the pressure.

In their last travelling match, they lost 1-3 in struggling Istres in what was an awful performance. A trip to Gueugnon is never easy at the best of times, but at the moment they miss many players. Its fair to say no real key individuals are ruled out but it doesn’t help with squad players are on the sidelines. Chateauroux will fight hard, but I don’t expect them to win this encounter, in fact they are more likely to lose it.

Gueugnon -0.25 AH @ 2.02 Pinnacle 4/10

Gueugnon Injured: Adam (B, mid), Le Frapper (B, mid), Rodrigues (B, def)
Gueugnon suspended: None

Chateauroux Injured: Agrain (C, def), Kebe (B, mid), Vandenbossche (B, mid /att), El Jadeyoui (B, mid), Grauss (B, att), Sidibe (B, mid) Sako (B, mid), Fereira (C, mid)
Chateauroux suspended: None

Match: Strasbourg v Creteil
Date: 23/2/07
Time: 20:00 cet
Recommended bet: Strasbourg -1 AH @ 1.78 Pointbet 7/10

The best home team in the division plays host to the worst away side in ligue 2 at Le Stade Meniau. Promotion chasing Strasbourg welcome relegation threatened Creteil and there looks to be just 1 result on the cards. Last weekend, Strasbourg played their best football in a while but still only drew 1-1 in Chateauroux. Nevertheless, Les Alsatians are still in decent promotion position and have 46 points to their name. they have a few really important games coming up so they can ill afford to drop points against Creteil this Friday.

The squad is in reasonable condition although a few players are on the injury list including key captain and midfielder, Yacine Abdessadki (k). Key defender, Yves Deroff (k) does return from suspension though which is a boost. So far the team has won a huge 10/13 on home turf and they will be expecting to make that 11/14 after the 90 minutes. This should be an easy success and only underestimation or lack of professionalism will stop then claiming the points.

Creteil are now rapidly in decline after a run of no win in 5 games. They sit just a couple of points above the relegation zone and the pressure is seriously mounting. Teams such as Tours, Guingamp and Niort have all improved recently and caught up with the Parisian outfit. The major problem they have still playing away from home. They have yet to pick up 3 points on their travels all year and sit with the worst travelling record of any team in ligue 2.

They will often go defensive and look for draws, but these tactics are poor and wont work every week. They were hammered 0-5 by Ajaccio a few weeks ago and it looks as if they will slump to another heavy defeat this week. Confidence is low and the pressure is on, it would be a huge shock if they managed to obtain any points.

Strasbourg -1 @ 1.78 looks a great bet, the very worst I can see is a push, my stake is 7/10

Strasbourg Injured: Abdessadki (A, mid), Gameiro (C, att), N'diaye (C, att),
Strasbourg suspended: Camadini (B, mid)

Creteil Injured: Perez (B, mid), Terrier (B, def/mid), Effa (C, att), Assous (C, def), Tabet (B, att), Ribault (C, def), Dobo (C, mid)
Creteil suspended: Gregori (A, mid), Pataca (C, att)

In two posts above are 15 different players injured or suspended for Creteil (same thing is with Strazbourg, but OK I know for theirs injuries for while)! Is it possible? How many players each team has?

If these lists contain players who are not played this season or only in start of season, I don't see a reason to mention them.

I need explanation.
Thanx

i think not more than 1500- 1400 people tonight for the match between Istres and Tours...
Istres hasn't lot of supporters for 1 year now, always almost nobody in stadium...
They dont trust in their team who's so poor really always now with new players who play like s h i t !!! ops:

Its not injuries/suspensions lists, but lists of players who have scored for their clubs so far...

Tonight, i will probably take Bastia at home vs Montpellier...
Bastia is much better than Montpellier when they play at away...
Revange tonight after the big score at Montpellier in 1st match and Montpellier without Padula and Ait ...
Bastia could take easily 3 pts with the poor defense of MHSC ops:
