Burkina Faso - Mali (AC of N), DRAW @3.15(Expekt)
LOST 1:3 another lose from my side and this way I lost my chance to win. Next month I promise do my best and don't touch event which I'm not sure
Good luck to danielcz,Serbian_Ninja,John_JUVE and halfacat.
1 round:
Burkina Faso 0-0 Senegal
Kenya 1-3 Mali
Burkina Faso
--->Burkina Faso held Senegal to a goalless draw in their Group B African Cup of Nations match. Senegal's experienced squad of European-based stars looked to have the better of Burkina Faso: Aliou Cisse,Henri Camara, Salif Diao, El Hadji Diouf.Burkina Faso finished strongly with a clear late chance from Tanguy Barro. As the final whistle approached the Stallions strengthened their defence and became more confident of their chances.
And what was the finish? It ended with red faces for the more-fancied Senagalese Lions.
--->There is a tournament. Every match is different. Burkina Faso have showed that their can stop strongest and more qulity team. There should be similar in this time. One of the main key to achieve success is stopped Frederic Kanoute and I think he will have hard task this time.
---> Burkina Faso coach Jean-Paul Rabier:" It's an excellent result against a great team ". I think that they have gathered strength after this draw.
Mali
--->Frederic Kanoute scored twice as Mali proved too strong for Kenya in their opening Group B match.
--->Mali, who are many people's dark horses for the title, began well, although their defence appeared vulnerable against the marauding runs of Dennis Oliech Kenya's player.
--->Kenya coach Jacob Mulee on Kanoute :"I am happy we were able to mark him out because he couldn't score until we made a mistake ". I strongly believe that Burkino's defence won't allow him score.
I see draw hear. Moreover I think Burkina will draw all of their ties, but they won't get promote.

My pick of the day:
Burkina Faso – Mali 2, (2.00 @ Premierbet) WON 1-3
This is a match from group B in ANC (African Nations Cup), between Burkina Faso and Mali.
Burkina Faso surprised everyone in the first match against the stars of Senegal. They held Senegal to a 0-0 draw. In that game Senegal was the best team, at least for the 1st half. Senegal ran all over them, especially in the wings and Burkina Faso ended up chasing the ball, and when Burkina Faso had the possession they ran out of ideas, but still they had some very good chances, not as many as Senegal though, and finished strongly.
Mali leads the group after the first match. They won 3-1 against Kenya. In that game Mali took the lead with Valencia’s Sissoko before Kenya equalized with a superb volley from Mulama. Then Kanoute, who was outstanding in the match, scored 2 goals, and Mali won 3-1 in the end.
Mali are one of the tournaments dark horses for the title, and I believe that they are very motivated to win this game against Burkina Faso and qualify for the next stage before the hard match against Senegal. Also I believe that Kanoute will continue his superb form.
Of course Burkina Faso can surprise again, but honestly I believe in another win for Mali.

Match;
Ice Tigers v Frankfurt Lions
Pick;
Take OVER 5.5 @1.75 @Gamebookers
Analysis;
I don't like HOCKEY as you know... And this pick is my first hockey pick... But i don't like NHL !!! Euro Hockey i not that unpredictable...
Stats show nearly always the score, and my years in betting showed me that
germany and russia have great matches for OVER - UNDER picks
and
Sweden is the best league for DRAW risks...
----
This match should end OVER 5.5 as the number 6 can just be reached by LIONS alone !!!
Even the 3-3 will make me happy , but i guess LIONS will win ...
Score Guess; 3-5

Van Scheppingen v Elseneer G. 2:0 2.00 @ gamebookers
lost 0-2
Van Scheppingen is very succesfull on carpet whereas Elseneer is the man of hard surfaces. h2h elseneer is 1-0 on grass surface. so it is time to equalize the score .
i do not think dennis will have problem beating Elseneer 2:0
good luck to all

Pick no14 9/13 +628
Braga - Moreirense 1 1.75 Centrebet 1-1 FT BET LOST
I pick an almost safe bet for today,so if its necessary I will have the chance to pick a risky bet tomorrow where there are a lot of bets...
Braga would be a clear favorite for today's game if there were not some bad results for them and good for Moreirense in last rounds...
Lets see some stats:
Braga
4th 33 pts 10-3-6 overall
6-2-2 13-11 at home
4-1-1 last 6 at home
Moreirense
10th 23 pts 6-5-8 overall
2-2-6 7-14 away
1-2-3 last 6 away
So, a good home team which has a lot of chances for next years UEFA cup against a medium team which had some good results lately to avoid relegation...Moreirense had 13 pts in 15 first games but 10 pts in next 4 games!
BUT: Braga has already 2 games without a win and never until now 3 games without it...And Moreirense 4 games without a defeat and never until now 5 games without it...Moreirense also never pick a point away against one of first 8 teams in standings...So I think it's time for a Braga's win and Moreirense's defeat...
H2H
These teams met each other 3 times in last 2 years,Braga won 2 games ,1 draw....First round,Braga won 2-0 away.
Braga will miss Brazilian central defender Nem and Dutch midfielder Wooter for second consecutive game while Moreirense has no injury problems...

Good evening !!!
My pick of the day for Friday is from Serie B :
Messina v Livorno.......................... X..............................2.55 at Pointbet
Perfect equilibrium between these two teams : level on points (38 each), on record (9-11-4) including an encouraging 11 draws apiece, and on goal differential (+8 each) !!! Livorno hasn't drawn for quite a while, suggesting serious fluctuations in form, but Messina is alrady working on a streak of 3 straight draws... Messina is undefeated at home (6-6-0) and the fact that they draw 50% of their home games is greatly encouraging. Livorno actually draws more than 50% of their away games (2-6-3), so it's beginnibg to look excellent for us !!! Here comes motivation : same for both, and despite the hosts' natural eagerness (as opposed to Livorno's welcoming a possible X) to win after drawing all their 2004 games, I suggest neither will be terribly unhappy with sharing the spoils... At Messina they know they cannot open up too much against serious oppossition, since they were thrashed in the first round game in Livorno. The visitors will be without Lucarelli this time, but they're more than comfortable in wide-open games IMHO, so Messina will be wise to keep it tight ! After a certain point, which usually comes during the 2nd half of Serie B games, both teams might just settle for the draw, which would leave them still level on points at that all-important 5th/6th place. It should be remembered that the top 5 teams will win automatic promotion to Serie A this year, whereas the 6th placed team will face a Serie A team in a play-off clash... Livorno usually run out of steam further down the line, at least that's the evidence we got from previous years, so they'll want to grab as much as they can from tough away games at this stage ! All things considered, at this point I rate Livorno as a slightly better team than Messina, and thus capable of grabbing a draw here. Like I said, motivation will be a factor for a while tonight, but I'm hoping prudence (or fear...) will prevail on the part of both teams as the game progresses...
Good luck to all

Pick14
Doncaster v Northampton English Div 3 Friday.
Normally this looks an easy home win but the home side have been dropping points lately with only 2 wins in 5.
28-Dec-03 A Hull City L 1-3
03-Jan-04 A Huddersfield Town L 1-3
10-Jan-04 H Leyton Orient W 5-0
17-Jan-04 A Southend United W 2-0
23-Jan-04 H Lincoln City L 0-2
While the away side have 3 wins in 5.
19-Dec-03 H Cambridge United L 1-2
26-Dec-03 A Bristol Rovers W 2-1
28-Dec-03 H Cheltenham Town W 1-0
10-Jan-04 A Torquay United L 1-3
17-Jan-04 H York City W 2-1
The Cobblers will be confident after playing well in the cup against Man U and if they are going to try for the play offs must get something from the remaining games.
Team news:
Doncaster duo Francis Tierney (knee) and Simon Marples (hernia) are both out while Tim Ryan has been absent from training with a pulled muscle.
On-loan striker Chris Brown has been referred to a chiropractor for a troublesome back injury and is a doubt
Paul Trollope is set to return to Northampton after serving a one-match ban.
Defender Ashley Westwood could also be in with a chance of a starting place.
================================================== ===
Cant see Northampton winning this but may be able to get an unexpected point.
My pick:
Doncaster v Northampton Draw @ 3.50 Ladbrokes
............................Pick Lost 1-0

Eng Div3:
Doncaster - Northampton (+3/4) @1.870 Pinacle
Not much to add to luckyjammit, but i have the same suspicion of a
surprise here.
Northampton had good results lately, maybe since Asamoah joined the
squad, has no more cup distractions and can concentrate on the league..
While Doncaster after a winning streak of 9 home games lost last game to
Lincoln 0-2..This combined with maybe a start of a dip, also some absences and biger presure for win could result in a surprise..
I aslo see a draw more probable but since already taken and the fact i
have one more pick for tomorrow left i go for this!
GOOD LUCK 8)

NHL:
Calgary Flames - Chicago Blackhawks - 2 @ 3.64 (ML) at Pinnacle 3:5 - bet won   -what a nice way to finish the competition, just like last month...
It's my last pick and I decided to take a risky bet with great odd and try to came closer to Top20 at the end of the month.
NHL (like NBA) is very unpredictable competition. And there are surprising results every day in this league. So I think in general odds over 3.0 always have value.
Chicago hasn't won an away match in last 19 attempts (0-18-0-1)! But that's just one more reason for me to bet on them. Streaks like that are very rare in competition like NHL so Chicago has to win soon. They were playing very solid in last games but were a little unfortunate if you ask me. I checked the statistics of their last 5 games and they weren't outshot to strong in any of those matches and their power play was only 3-29. I think they have nice chances to win if they score at least two power play goals and if their goolie won't have a terrible night.
Calgary on the other hand is nothing special. At home they are average with 13 wins in 26 matches. They are playing like day and night in last matches (LWLWL) and they really don't seem like that hot favourites in this match as odds are suggesting.
I think that Chicago can get at least a draw in this match and I get my pick/money back and get another try on the last day of the month tomorrow...
Good luck!

Icehockey, NHL
Anaheim-Colorado 2 ----> 2.05 @expekt
Anaheim just doesn't seem to reach the same (defensive) heights as last year, and are falling in the standings. Colorado have had a rather hectic schedule lately, but I still think that Forsberg & co have enough class to beat Anaheim even when playing only 90% of their capacity. It was enough to get a draw against LA, which recently have beaten Anaheim twice.

Another NBA pick, after last good bet on Kings:
Hornets(-1) to beat 76ers in Philadelphia @1.95 / pinnacle
Mashburn and Davis are back after injuries, and even without them (and Wesley) Hornets played solid basketball last days. They just beat Bucks, Spurs (away) and Denver. Allen Iverson is questionable for this match, and Coleman is still out. Philadelphia lost their last 4 games (Toronto, New Jesrey, Orlando, Cleveland) and they scored 84, 76, 87, 93 points in these games. Simply New Orleans has more offensive power and it's payback time as they lost to tonight's rivals 9 days ago.
GO HORNETS !
As a Celtics fan I hate 76ers too....

NBA. Boston - New York.
Pick: A
Odds: 2.70
Bookie: WillHill
For me NY is even a slight favourite in this game so taking them with odds 2.70 is a good bet.
Injuries: Allan Houston out for New York, Van Horn doubtful but probably will play. Vin Baker out for Boston, Jumaine Jones questionable.
I respect Boston and I'm sure they will make playoffs, but New York will also do and New York will finish the season with better record than Boston. Boston depend a lot on one player (Paul Pierce) and while he can win games "alone" he can also sink the team if his shots don't go.
Boston is also (I think) the only team in the league with better away record than home record, 11-11 away 11-14 home. New York is 8-14 away but after the big trade which has taken Marbury and Hardaway to NY they are 2-2 and I expect them to win at least half of away games against Eastern teams.
Anyway, 51-49 is how I rate New York's chances, let's see what happens.

Justin Henin-Hardenne v Kim Clijsters - Justin to win in 3 sets @ 4.00 (Bet365)
Pick WON 6-3 4-6 6-3
Risky picky here but worth a try. Justin has been faultless throughout the tournament without losing a set while Kim's journey has resulted in similar success but less convincing. Kim's injury has been well documented and it may have a psychological effect on her, as she attempts to overcome a h2h of 6-2 (in favour of Justin) in finals. The crowd will definitely be behind 'Aussie' Kim which should help her earn a set but Justin is a mentally tough competitor, as shown in the US Open semi against Capriati last year, saving 2 match points then beating Kim in the final.
