Default Switzerland - Super League (02-04 Dec 2006)

02-12-2006 Saturday
FC St. Gallen vs. FC Aarau:
FC St. Gallen plays very well at home and on 6 of all 8 home games this season until today On the other hand maybe FC Aarau won last week against Grasshopers suprisingly but Aarau is the weakest team of this league and lost 7 of their all 8 away games this season. The missing players this week are from Aarau Zarn (booked) and from St. Gallen Callà and Gjasula. I am sure FC St. Gallen wants to win for the last time in front of their fans before the winter-pause.

I predict a HOME WIN (H)

04-12-2006 Monday
FC Basel vs. FC Luzern:
This season things are not going well for Basel. They are following the league leader 10 points back and last week they lost against Wisla and eliminated from Uefa Cup finally. The game against FC Luzern will be a tough one for them. After difficult games and bad results I am not sure that you think similar like me but I think this home game could be a change for Basel. Basel needs a good result to forget the bad season start and to be a part of the championship fight again. If you still want to hear some statistics, Basel won 6 of all 8 home games this season and Luzern have won just once in 8 games on away.

I predict a HOME WIN (H)

Good Luck!

Have any time but short view for todays matches...

I agree with St. Gallen win but it will be not easy. So the handicap is a little bit risky. Gjasula is very important man for St. Gallen middlefield. He did not played last week too. St. Gallen won this match at away against Luzern 1-0 but Luzern was far the better team in match. St. Gallen played very bad. For example Luzern leads in corner 14-1. Still i believe on home win but medium stakes.

Zurich have important absences and i think +1 Thun @ odds 1.60-1.70 looks not bad for me.

Well i never back this crappy Basel. Maybe they can win at home but for me Nobet.

Good Luck...

Grasshopers team spirit is down... struggling, they lost last round with Aarau.. now playing with Young Boys, which are doing pretty well recently..

The value is on Young Boys' side to beat broken Grasshopers at odds about 4...

Young Boys' play with full squad.

Grasshopers play without: Langkamp , Salatic, Schwegler , Pinto is doubt

FC Thun vs. FC Zürich: There are many many missing players for both teams. Defenders Schönenberger, Sinani from Thun and Silva, Stucki, Tihinen, Schneider, Stanic from Zurich are 100% not going to play today. And it is still not clear that Gerber, Friedli, Bettoni, Hämmerli from Thun and Alphonse, von Bergen from Zurich will play or not. Both teams are going to play with many substitute players today. This makes this game very open-end in my opinion.

If you still ask for a prediction with so many missing players, I would say Zurich will get at least 1 point. A draw is also possible. I could say 0/2...

can anyone translate it for me? thnx

Before somewhat more than four years, on 17 August 2002, the FC Luzern was last opponent of the FC Basel in the domestic Joggeli. The play was lost at that time unfortunately with 2:3. It was also the evening of the parting from Massimo Ceccaroni. Only days later then the legendary play followed 11 against Celtic Glasgow, when itself the FCB should qualify for the champions League.

Speeds passati. The FC Basel is European from the champions League far to Luzern and fights after three years Challenge League as Aufsteiger against the descent. Still in fresh memory the 0:2-Niederlage of the red-blue on the common land surely is well two months ago. The FCB has thus much reason to the revenge.

With Basel and Luzern two table neighbours meet one another. The FCB slipped meanwhile to rank 6 and is only one rank, but nevertheless 8 points, before the Luzernern. With three points the Bebbi could push itself again at YB past onto rank 5 and shorten the arrears on the zweitplatzierte pc. Gallen on 5 points.

Beside the long-term-hurt players also Zdravko Kuzmanovic, which saw the fourth yellow map against Zurich, will be missing. We hope thus for a good last appearance of the Bebbi in the Joggeli.
