And today's letter of the day is the letter b. Interesting week of games this week, top two clash in forest v bristol city, upcoming sides yeovil and oldham, bradford v scunthorpe, carlisle v tranmere, eight viable contenders battling.
At the bottom leyton orient v cheltenham is already a huge relegation clash.
Brief preview
Bournemouth v Rotherham: Kevin Bond will hope to turn around the cherries season, while Rotherham who have clawed back their points defecit will look to get out of trouble, a real coin flick game, that unlike a coin, unless it's a magic one, could go three ways.
Bradford v Scunthorpe: Scunthorpe beat them in midweek and both teams have had surprising defeats in recent home games. On the fact that there is little in these sides, scunthropre's greater goal threat and in form strikers makes me see them as value for the away win.
Brentford v Gillingham: Brentford have gone off the rails and gillingham were never on them, avoid like the jeremy kyle show.
Brighton v Northampton: Northampton tend to travel better and Brighton are slowly finding their feet under new manager, one to avoid.
Carlisle v Tranmere: Both sides started well and have sliden badly, maybe a draw, maybe carlisle to shade it, but can't see any value here.
Crewe v Blackpool: Crewe should win here, but their highly unpredictable nature means anything less than 2.00 can never be considered value.
Doncaster v Chesterfield: Probable home win, but they draw too many to take any comfort in backing them.
Leyton Orient v Cheltenham: Both sides are really playing badly and this should be a very close passionate affair if a little short on quality.
Forest v bristol city: I'm taking forest on here just because I believe this is a fifty fifty call and city are being undervalued here. Home advantage doesn't even sway it as the weight of expectation on forest can often be a burden for them rather than a help.
Vale v Huddersfield: The league's two most unpredictable sides meet and who could call it.
Yeovil v Oldham: An interesting match that could go all three ways, and one that seems priced about right.
Swansea v Millwall: Big value in the away win here, millwall are firing under their caretaker manager don't get me wrong swansea are a good side with goals in them but they can blow both hot and cold and millwall seem good value here in taking them on.
Millwall are my gold bet of the week, bristol city silver and scunthorpe the bronze, the strategy this week is to look at close games and try get the value in away teams.
