13:15 Plymouth (2.38 Draw (3.25) Derby (3.2)
Tough weekend as usual in the championship, the bet that stands out here to me is Colchester at those odds are massive, maybe even covered with a draw double. Wolves are a vastly over-rated side and colchester are on a great run of form, bit of value here.

Southend welcome back striker Matt Harrold, after an injury.
Sodje and Ricketts should be involved, but Bradbury (thigh) and Wilson (calf) are out.
Striker McKenzie may return for Coventry, but Trinidad and Tobago duo Stern John and Chris Birchall are ruled out because of international duty, whereas David McNamee returns following suspension.
Tough game, very important for both teams, so the best advice is NO BET here. If a pick is absolutely needed, draw or UNDER 2,5 are my choices

Preston v Sunderland
Preston have really got a run going now after a slow start to the season, although the same can be said about Sunderland. The two sides meet however with Preston with no losses at home so far, and unbeaten in 8.
There is no doubt Keane has helped somewhat to turn things around at the Stadium of Light, but he is now faced with a big test as a manager, a few shakey performences, and a really long injury list. He will be missing Ross Wallace and the impressive Liam Larwence who were both injured in training this week, along with absences to Liam Miller who had to withdraw from the Ireland squad, and at the back the ever solid Kenny Cunningham will miss out.
Preston are not without their own injury worries, with Brett Ormerod still out, as well as Calum Davidson and Adam Nowland, but other than that they have no real concerns.
Deepdale is always a tough place to go, Preston have been consistently good in this division for a few seasons now, and I think this price stands out abit to be honest, and worth trying small stakes.
Picks
Preston -0.25 (2.05) @bet365 3/10

PNE is good but once Keane is installed, the Sunderland team look very different. The have better understanding, better formation and the team look solid now.
I dont see Sunderland losing this game.

2.5 points Southampton level ball Asian Handicap at Leicester City @ 2.0 at Bet365
Those who read the blog regularly may know that I really rate the Saints. The fact that they are in touch with the league leaders despite what most at St Mary's would consider an aveage start to the season, speaks volumes. In the last game before the break, they suffered their worst defeat of the season - losing at home to QPR. While it was a bit of a shock defeat, QPR were buoyed by their new manager, and these things happen in football. The last time the Saints lost a game, was away to Ipswich and they followed that up with three consecutive wins - two of which were away from home. While the Saints were poor away last season, they appear to be a more solid side this term.
They have received a huge boost through the international break, with the return of club captain Claus Lundekvam. If there was one thing this Southampton side had been lacking, it was leadership - and in the coming weeks, Lundekvam's return will no doubt provide Southampton with a bit of extra impetus.
Reading through some comments before the game, the Saint certainly appear to be up for this one. Chris Makin's comments are indicative. I quote "This time we have had a fortnight to think about it. Normally I try and switch off at home but this defeat really got to me and I have not been able to get it out of my mind.
"Maybe it is because we had the chance to go second and to have made a statement to the rest of the division but it has really bugged me.
"But it just shows in this league you can never take anything for granted and you have to work hard for everything.
"I went back to Manchester during the break and you would not believe the number of people who came up to me and said we had wrecked their bet. They all had us down as a home banker in their accumulators.
"Looking at it beforehand, you would have thought that was the case but football does not work like that.
"If we do end up winning promotion then maybe we will look back on that game as being a turning point which gave us a kick up the backside - but right now it does not feel that way. It just hurts."
"Now we have to go and try and put that right at Leicester which will be a tough game but we have done well away from home recently.
"We have scored a few goals on the road. Teams have to come at us a bit and maybe we get a bit more room to play.
"At St Mary's, visiting teams know we have a good team and they come and shut up shop to try and hit us on the break."
With levels of motivation like that, better quality all around and no fresh injury concerns, in addition to the return of Lundekvam I like Southampton' chances here. The Saints haven't lost to Leciester in their last 7 encounters - and the two games last season - Saints won at home and drew away. They are a much better side this term. Leciester are without a win in 5. I think there is significant value on Southampton here.

Ipswich-WBA
I`m no expert in this league but the prices on away win look very good in my eyes.
team news from BBC:
Ipswich midfielder Gavin Williams misses the game as he serves a one-match suspension.
Defender Alex Bruce is available after ban, while full-back Fabian Wilnis is fit following a thigh injury.
West Brom skipper Curtis Davies has recovered from a broken metatarsal and could come in for fellow defender Paul McShane, who is suspended.
Nathan Ellington is fit after a thigh injury but midfielder Nigel Quashie is a doubt with ankle ligament damage.
I don`t rate Ipswich that high and as WBA is still one of the best or the best team in this league I`m tempted to go for them. Also WBA has played really tough away games to this day as they faced Cardiff, southampton,Sunderland,Preston and Luton.O
pinions from anyone?
