It is getting dangerous for the Chiefs. This is such a huge game for the Bengals who can put themselves on the NFL map by ending KC’s dream of a perfect season and make Dick Vermeil cry.
It’s a true game of one team playing at playoff intensify, with the huge road favorite having the bullseye. Over their last five games, the KC defense is allowing 5.0 yards per play against foes averaging a pedestrian 4.6. Meanwhile Cincy is averaging 6.2 yards per pass against teams whose cumulative average is a half-yard less during that span.
KC’s last three road wins have been by a touchdown or less. The Bengals have won their last three road games including against Baltimore and Seattle. They are averaging 25 points per game in their last three overall and 5.9 yards per play.
There is even a possibility of Corey Dillon returning for Cincinnati and he will come motivated now that Rudi Johnson has stolen his spotlight.
Considering the Bengals have not had a winning season since 1990 and they are finally showing signs of life, we look for this to be an unprecedented home field for them.
