Perth Wildcats vs Melbourne Utd

These two teams are sitting at the top of the ladder on the first two spots.

They met two times this season and the Wildcats won both matches, home and away.

Melbourne are on a 6 game winning run, however the Wildcats are very hard to beat at home, and Melbourne's away wins in this stretch have been at teams currently outside the play-off spots.

Prather is out injured for Melbourne.

Bet: Perth -4 @1.80

Both teams have great scoring capabilities, while at the same time they have two of the best defences in the league.

I'm tempted by an over, but many times it happened that Perth scored high and the visitors scored low.

I'd go for team total Perth Wildcats over 82.5 pts.

When teams (like Melbourne in this case) are in good form (six wins in a row) everyone expecting them to lose at some point, especially from strong team (like Perth in this case). But, based on my experience they never lost a game from strong opponent! Usually they lost when nobody expect.

Last example were game between GS and Boston. Boston had 13 wins in a row and didn't lose that game, beside everyone except them to lose.

It doesn't mean that Melbourne will win today, but I rather skip the bet when opponent is in such a good form, or I bet on opponent and try to catch some good odds.

Well done!

However it's not that I expected them to lose because they had a long winning run, but because the teams they beat were outside top 4.

Also, like most basketball people here know, the Wildcats are hard to beat at home by definition, so to speak.

Well... Wildcats lost this time and you were spot on to place your theory

Illawarra Hawks vs NZ Breakers

The Hawks are a fast paced high scoring team.
This is the first time that these two teams meet this season.
The Breakers have been in a slump of form recently and they need to step up, so that their play-off chances do not suffer.

The Hawks lost at home to Melbourne last round, by two points, so they have to bounce back in their chase for a play-off spot.

Bet 1: Hawks @1.78
Bet 2: Over 179 @1.92

Brisbane Bullets vs Perth Wildcats

The Bullets are on a 5 match losing streak. They hardly have any chance of making it to the play-offs, if at all.

The Wildcats lead the H2H series 2-1, and they are coming into this match on the back of a home defeat two days ago to Melbourne, 80-82.

The Wildcats missed many shots in that match and gave away easy balls.

The players are eager to bounce back.

Bet 1: Wildcats -2.5 @1.86
Bet 2: Over 161 @1.83
