    Sunday 4 June
    FF Jaro - FC Haka
    - Both teams have plenty missing players. Haka with only 14 players in this game. They have a good starting 11 but I doubt they can keep a clean sheet. Jaro also missing some defensive players so thinking goals. Jaro to win with both teams to score.
FT: 2-2 pick lost, gutted as Jaro was leading 2-0 with 10 min to go.

    GrIFK - Gnistan
    - Relegation battle where neither can afford to lose but both must win. Small bet on both teams to score.
    FT: 2-1 Pick won

1 game this Wednesday 7 June
      FF Jaro - OPS
      - The odds are way too low for the hosts. Jaro won their opening game but have since gone 4 games without a win. They are a good team but injuries and suspensions have caused them points. In their last game, they were leading 2-0 with 10 minutes to go but the match ended 2-2. Now they meet the surprise team of the season OPS who have a lot of individual talent with some good experienced foreign players.

Jaro should be the favourite here BUT a team that has not won in 4 games, is missing their main goalkeeper, their main central defender, their main midfielder and a key forward, should not be such a favourite. They get back one of their normal CB´s to this game, BUT they are missing their best player Katidis who is suspended. Some of you might remember him as the AEK Athens player who got fired for giving a nazi salute. He is in Finland trying to redeem his career and he is of to a good start. As you can imagine, he is way too good for this league and now he wont play do to suspension.

OPS can get something from this game but best bet here is with handicaps. Even a +1.5AH for them give 1.70 odds which to me sound good.

Great comeback from OPS. 2-0 HT and 2-3 FT. I would have understood the odds for Jaro if they had all their best players available but not when missing 4-5 normally starting players.

The bookies keep underestimating OPS all the time. They see that they are a newly promoted team with a shitty pre-season. OPS was not focusing though in the pre-season and bookies do not know how to set the odds for a team that basically got all their foreign players a week before the league started.

And those foreign players are quality for this league. I still do not think that they will be fighting for promotion but they are a top-6 team for sure.

Ykkönen though is a very tight league (with the exception of Honka this season) where anyone can beat anyone. This gives good odds like OPS yesterday and I am absolutely loving it.

4 games today Saturday 10 June

                FF Jaro vs AC Oulu
                - Home win with Jaro scoring at least 2 goals. They get Katidis back and Oulu still missing some key players.

                EIF vs GrIFK
                - EIF is a good home team and GrIFK not so good away team so home win

                FC Haka vs KPV
                - This is a tricky game. I would have liked goals but Haka might be a bit defensive here. Draw or KPV win. I might leave it to live betting.

                TPS vs Gnistan
                - An in-form TPS vs probably the worst team in the league. Clear home win by at least 2 goals.

Haka Valkeakoski vs. Kokkola - Kokkola is missing 4 players out of which 3 are key players for the team: Rauhala(5/0), Schwalenstocker(5/3), Cozar(4/1) and Heirmann(1/0). Haka has won both of last 2 mutual matches (3:2 and 1:4). Haka DNB 2.00 Pinnacle

                    Tuesday 13 June:
                    OPS - Honka
                    - Honka big favourite again but I dont want to back them with those odds. Away from home after a very long travell from Espoo. I prefer both teams to score. OPS is a decent team that can cause problems.

                    Gnistan - FF Jaro
                    - Gnistan was totally outplayed against TPS in the last round but at home they should be better. Also striker Rexhepi is a bit more match fit and can score. Jaro is the big favourite here and are the more quality team BUT they have not won a game since the opening round and this will be their 4th game in 9 days. I just cannot see them as such favourites. I like the both teams to score option here also.

Comment : Early pick:Hometeam GrIFK(9th) lost last round at home against KPV 1-3,that was their 2nd loss a row when they lost 4-1 away against one of bottomranked EIF.Out of this game from GrIFK are suspended duo defender Ilomaki(7/0) and midfielder Stevens(6/0) also longterm injured forward Faton Seferi and in last game injured Matrone(7/1) are out.Awayteam FC Haka(5th) come into this game with win at home 1-0 at home against KPV after totally dominating game by hometeam.FC Haka have played draws in their last 2 awaygames, but both games was against topranked teams TPS and Jaro.FC Haka`s forward Kalle Multanen have been in very hot form with 7 goals in 8 games so he is at least same form what he was between season 2013-15 when he scored totally 61 goals in Finnish Ykkonen,no important missings. Its really difficult to see that weakened GrIFK get anything from this game against FC Haka that showed great performance in last game against KPV.

                          Analysis:
Finally a good, confident pick on one of the strongest teams in Finnish second division. This is a perfect situation for a winner: TPS started the season poorly, they needed time to adjust, but now they are on a winning streak and it will take a good team to stop them. For sure, Ekenas can not be considered as such...
Ekenas are a small Club from Raasepori. Currently 8th they are expected to relegate and at the moment it looks rather poorly for them. Two wins in first 9 games played and 6 losses overall, they must be taken seriously. Their wins came at home. But on the other side, when they played serious teams, they have lost without scoring (0-2 against Jaro, 0-1 against Honka). And another very important fact: these two played against eachothers only two weeks ago, in Turku. It ended as 6-0 win for TPS! So, they will have huge psychological advantage.
TPS of course were not expected to play this league in the first place. But they had one poor season in Veikkausliiga and they were relegated. In the beginning of this season, they looked shocked, but things turned and Turku are now on 4-1-0 streak.. and the only draw came away against leaders Honka!
For me there are no doubts about the winner here, my call is 0-2!
                          GL all!

                              19 July - Full round

                              AC Oulu - OPS
                              - Derby game but ACO more fans and are in better form. AC Oulu 1 (-1AH)
                              FC Haka - Gnistan
                              - Gnistan just changed their head coach and I expect an improvement. Gnistan +1AH
                              EIF - Honka
                              - Ekenäs is a difficult place to play, Honka beat them 0-1 earlier but it could have also gone the other way. Now EIF is in form so EIF +1AH
                              TPS - GrIFK
                              - TPS is so good at home and GrIFK is not so TPS - 1.5AH
                              Jaro - KPV
                              - Derby game and the odds for the visitors are too high. Normally Jaro should be quite even but their performances have been below par. KPV is really strong and have almost all players available here so away win.

                                Saturday 22 July
                                FF Jaro - TPS
                                - Two big teams battling it out. TPS is undefeated since they lost their first 2 games. They are really fighting for promotion. FF jaro was supposed to be fighting for promotion also but have been poor and inconsistent. They already changed their head coach and their last match against KPV was already promising. I see this being a tight game with TPS having that excellent defense of theirs. Under 2.5 goals has value.

                                Gnistan - EIF
                                - Difficult match to predict. EIF has the form but Gnistan just changed their coach and their performances have not been awful. Many 1 goal defeats. I can see a draw possibility here but not enough or me to put a bet on this game.

                                OPS - FC Haka
                                - I love the home win odds here. OPS already beat them in Valkeakoski and OPS can play good football. Haka will miss their top scorer Kalle Multanen which is a huge loss. He is basically their entire offense. Great odds on home win.
