Default Wimbledon

I won't be able to write much long before the day starts, in general, because of work commitments, but here it goes.

Based on how they performed at the recent warm-up tournaments and in general at Wimbledon, I see the following players going far in the tournament:

Tsonga, Kyrgios, Pouille, Querrey, Nadal, Cilic, Raonic, Federer, Gasquet, Lopez, Murray, Djokovic.

A Zverev doesn't seem to be there yet. The way he lost to Federer in Halle was disappointing, he went down with a whimper. He didn't show the level of maturity required to win such a tournament. Maybe next year if he grows some more.

Cilic with a good chance to go all the way.

Querrey from last year 3-0 , Querrey current time it s posible even to lose against in form and growing Fabbiano . I ll take a set for italian player. Also Lu will have hard times against Bolleli wich is concentrating better in grand slams, and this year the Tai Pei player showed that he should retire at the end of te year.

Someone must be laughing. How the hell Radwanska is 1.4 against Petkovic 3.0 ?
Radwanska is useless these days, especially this year.

I had a great start.
Most of my bets arrived, certainly the big ones, Anderson delivered and Cilic is the man to watch.

Indeed, very good job!

By the way, fantastic Wimbledon day overall. In betrush so many tennis bets today were winners. Hopefully the positive trend goes on.

Edmund vs Ward

Ward was underestimated in the qualifications and he is still underestimated.
Heís been struggling financially and because he was injured for like 6 months, he fell in the rankings to 855. He made the most of the Wild Card entry to Wimbledon Qualifications and after he beat Gabashvili 3-1, he is now in the main draw.

If there is one player to bet on, well, I think there is no bigger motivation than the money he makes to pay out his debts, which getting into the main draw certainly did for him.

Edmund hasnít had good results on grass, heís got 3 defeats this year, while in the past his results have been terrible.
Ward is certainly in with a big chance in this match.

Ward +2.5 sets @2.14
Ward +7.0 @1.81 or +6.5 @2.15
Ward to win @6.44

M Zverev vs Tomic

One week ago in Eastbourne, Tomic beat Zverev in 2 quick sets, losing only 5 games, with an utterly dominant 2nd set.

Tomic has had good performances in general at Wimbledon, always going a few rounds in this tournament, and played a quarter-final here.
M Zverev hasnít performed well at Wimbledon in general.

Tomic @1.91

Thompson vs Ramos

Thompson likes to play on grass, while Ramos has got very bad results on this surface.

Thompson played the final in Surbiton 3 weeks ago and then beat Murray at Queens.

Thompson -2.5 @1.85

Chardy vs Berdych

They met at Wimbledon 2 years ago and Berdych won 3-1 in a match with 3 tie-breakers.

Over 36.5 games @1.90/ Over 3.5 sets @1.83

I'll take the following as winners in various multiples:

Gasquet
Monfils
Djokovic
Djoko 3-0
Dimitrov
A Zverev
Raonic
Sugita
Rublev
Baghdatis
Kukushkin

Tomic indeed should prevail in 4 or five sets against M Zverev.
I would add some picks:

Escobedo to win
Haase to win , small stake Haase 3-1 corect score
Travaglia to win a set
Jarry to win a set
Berankins to win a set
Tsitsipas vs Lajovic over 3.5 sets
Thompson vs Ramos over 3.5 sets
Ofner to win a set

Girls :
Vadeweghe win
Andreescu win
Martic to win a set
Han vs Dyas first set under 9.5 games

Combo for big money :
Vandeweghe, Muguruza, Mattek S to win a set, Sugyta win,Dyas win, Flipkens to win a set, Tomic to win a set, F Lopez

Kukuhskin - Daniel 1 at around 1,40

Clear surface advantage as Daniel doesn't have a good serve and has never won a match on grass.

Zverev - Tomic 2 at around 1,95

Played 10 days ago Tomic destroyed Zverev , he has better results on Wimbledon and a better game on grass for sure.

Linnete - Mattek Sands 2 at around 1,65

Linnete really doesn't have game for grass , while Mattek is a good server , a good doubles player so she knows how to play on the net and volleys and she had more succes on grass throughout her career.

And does anyone have any info on Sloane Stephens ??

yes for sure , but still I thought Tomic has a better serve and forehand he should be in advantage.

But I forgot that Tomic is an idiot. He is just dragging himself on the court and he has 0 chances of taking a set here. 3-0 for sure for Mischa. Idiot player.

Hi Quill!
It's a pity that Djoko and Federer finished their games earlier by having their opponents retiring.
What about today?
I thought about this combo:
Medvedev + Halep + Williams + Svitolina @ 2.1

Djoko and Federer would have been some winners, indeed.

Medvedev is a very good pick.
Not much into WTA, but the picks seem to be good.

My winners for today, and I will take various multiples with them:

RBA, Khachanov, Tsonga, Medvedev, Anderson, Cilic, Murray, Nadal.

Rosol vs Muller

Over 37.5 @1.91

Nishikori vs Stakhovsky

Stakhovsky beat Nishikori two times, in 2011, 3-1 at the French Open, and 2-0 in Paris Indoor tournament.
Nishikori lost to Khachanov two weeks ago in Halle, and Stakhovsky is in good form, with 8-2 W-L on grass this season, and he beat Benneteau in the first round here.

Stakhovsky +2.5 sets @1.85
Stakhovsky +6.5 @1.80

Tsonga vs Bolelli

Tsonga had a dominant win over Norrie. With his form right now, I can see another dominant win.

Tsonga -6.0 @1.90
Under 35 @1.87
Tsonga 3-0 @1.73

Murray vs Brown

Murray -7 @1.81
Under 32.5 @1.80

Janowicz vs Pouille

Pouille had 7 tie-breakers in his last 7 matches, while Janowicz had 5 in his last 4.

Over 39 games @1.83

Mayer vs Cilic

Cilic -6.5 @2.00
Under 35 @1.84
Cilic -2.5 sets @1.85

Nadal vs Young

Nadal -8.5 @1.99
Under 32.5 games @1.90
