Default Norway Eliteserien 11-14 Aug

Sunday 13.08.2017 Haugesund - Stabæk:

Both teams are using natural grass at their home stadiums.

Game start: 17:00 CET (18:00 Local time)

Haugesund (7-4-6) had a 1-0 lead away against Sarpsborg 08 for along time, but lost 1-2 in the end after a final minute goal against.
Haugesund lost 0-2 at home against Molde in the Cup on Wednesday.
Haugesund are 4-3-1 at home, with goal score 9-5.
Key midfielder Filip Kiss (Mid 16/2 - Al Ittifaq) has left this summer.
Key midfielder Haris Hajradinovic (Mid 14/2) was sent off after the Cup game against Molde ended, and will be out here.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------

Stabæk (7-4-7) lost 1-3 at home against newly promoted Sandefjord this weekend.
They are 2-1-2 in their latest games.
Stabæk will play at home against Aalesund in the Cup on Thursday.
Stabæk are 3-2-3 on the road, with goal score 12-17.
El-Hadji Ba (Mid 11/0 - Sochaux) and Alex Nimely (Mid/Att 13/2 - Released) have left.

Haugesund - Stabæk ended 3-1 in 2016. (Stabæk - Haugesund ended 0-3 earlier this season)

Haugesund had a really good period when they were undefeated between late May and mid July, but they have 3 straight defeats now (league+cup+europe), and there are some changes in the squad.
Key midfielder Filip Kiss (Mid 16/2 - Al Ittifaq) and Erik Huseklepp (Att - loan deal to Åsane) have left this summer, and Captain Troost-Ekong (Def) and top scorer Agdestein have yet to really be replaced since last season.
Add that key midfielder Hajradinovic got suspended for this game, due to a red card after the Molde game was finished, and it becomes clear that Haugesund may not be a top side in the final parts of the season.
Stabæk lost 1-3 at home against newly promoted Sandefjord last round, and coach Ordinas will get a tough job to replace their key midfielder Ba imo.

- Stabæk may be more focused on defense, after their poor 1-3 performance at home against newly promoted Sandefjord last round.
- Haugesund have played 7 straight home games that have ended Under 2.5 goals in Eliteserien 2017.
- Haugesund are missing Kiss and Hajradinovic at midfield, that pretty much have been Haugesunds main creative force the latest seasons.

Pick: Under 2.5 goals, 9/10 stakes, odds 2.25@SBO. Good luck!

Sunday 13.08.2017 Strømsgodset - Lillestrøm:

Strømsgodset are using artificial pitch at Marienlyst. Lillestrøm are using natural grass at their home stadium.

Game start: 19:00 CET (20:00 Local time)

Strømsgodset (5-7-6) won 2-0 in the chance bonanza at home against Vålerenga last round. They are 2-2-1 in their latest games.
Strømsgodset are 5-3-1 at home, with goal score 18-10.
Tommy Høiland (Att 5/0 - Viking) and Marco Tagbajumi (Att 13/3 - Lillestrøm) have left.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------

Lillestrøm (6-5-7) had a 2-0 lead at HT away against Viking, but the game ended 2-2 draw in the end. 1-0 victory at home against Tromsø in the Cup on Wednesday.
They are 1-3-1 in their latest league games.
Lillestrøm are 2-4-3 on the road, with goal score 15-17.
Aleksander Melgalvis (Mid 14/2) is out.

Strømsgodset - Lillestrøm ended 3-1 in 2016. (Lillestrøm - Strømsgodset ended 2-0 earlier this season)

Strømsgodset were back at the winning track in their 2-0 victory at home against Vålerenga last round. 5-3-1 at home so far, and they have been one of the best home teams in the top division the latest seasons.
Lillestrøm were not at their best when winning 1-0 at home against Tromsø in the Cup on Wednesday, but it was enough to advance to the Quarter Finals.
Lillestrøm have played 3 straight draw games in the league, and they rarely give up without a fight.
Strømsgodset showed signs of the energy we are used to see them play at home against Vålerenga, and its just a matter of time before players like Tokmac Nguen really get their break-through in the top division.
If Strømsgodset have focus on defending against Knudtzons speed at counter-attacks, they should have a good chance to claim their 6th home victory, and climb many positions in the league on Sunday.
Strømsgodset have won the 4 latest mutual games at home.
Rare to see odds above 2.20 for Strømsgodset victory at Marienlyst.

Pick: Strømsgodset (-0.5 AH), 9/10 stakes, odds 2.21@SBO. Good luck!

Saturday 12.08.2017 Molde - Rosenborg:

Molde are using artificial pitch at Aker Stadion. Rosenborg are using natural grass at their home stadium.

Game start: 17:00 CET (18:00 Local time)

Molde (9-4-5) won 2-1 away against Tromsø last round, and they defeated Haugesund 2-0 away on Wednesday. They are 4-2-0 in their latest league games.
Molde are 5-1-2 at home, with goal score 16-7.
Eirik Hestad (Mid 16/0) was injured against Haugesund, and will most likely be out for this game.

---------------------------------------------------------------------

Rosenborg (11-5-2) won 4-1 at home against Kristiansund last round, and they won 2-1 away against Jerv in the Cup on Wednesday (even though many regulars were rested from start). They are 4-1-0 in their latest league games.
Rosenborg are 4-3-1 on the road, with goal score 13-6.

Molde - Rosenborg ended 1-3 in 2016. (Rosenborg - Molde ended 2-1 earlier this season)

Rivalry between the reigning champions, and a in-form title candidate.
Ole Gunnar Solskjærs young, but talented, Molde side have really turned into a title candidate lately. Experienced players have returned from clubs abroad, and the squad doesnt only consist of a U-21 side anymore.
Rosenborg failed to reach the Champions League group stage, and the reigning champions will have their main focus on winning the league, and defeating their main rivals on Saturday.
Molde and Rosenborg have scored quite often in Eliteserien of late, both sides rested key players in the Cup games in midweek, and I dont think any of the sides will hold much back when the rivals meet Saturday night. Over 3 goals, money back if 3 goals scored.

Pick: Over 3 goals, 9/10 stakes, odds 2.33@Unibet. Good luck!

Friday 11.08.2017 Sandefjord - Sogndal:

Sandefjord are using natural grass at Komplett Arena. Sogndal are using artificial pitch at their home stadium.

Game start: 18:00 CET (19:00 Local time)

Newly promoted Sandefjord (7-3-8) won 3-1 away against Stabæk last round. 3-0 at home against Tromsø before the break. 8-0 away against 2.Div side Fram Larvik in a club friendly last week.
Sandefjord are 4-2-2 at home, with goal score 12-8.
Crescendo Van Berkel (Def - Telstar, Netherlands), Carlos Javier Grossmuller (Mid - loan deal from Danubio, Uruguay) and Facundo Rodriguez (Att - loan deal from Penarol, Uruguay) have signed for the blue and whites, and did all play in the 3-1 win against Stabæk last round.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------

Sogndal (5-5-8) lost 1-2 away against Odd last round, and they havent won on the road (0-2-3 league/cup) since mid May.
Sogndal are 1-3-5 away from home, with goal score 6-17.
Stanisa Mandic (Mid/Att) has been signed on loan deal from Serbian side Cukaricki.

Sandefjord - Sogndal ended 2-0 in 2008. (Sogndal - Sandefjord ended 3-2 earlier this season)

Meeting between two teams that both were rated relegation candidates in front of this season.
While Sogndal have signed players on free transfer, cheap signings from lower divisions, or talents from other Eliteserie sides reserve teams, Sandefjord have signed 3 players that may take Sandefjord to the next level, and keep clear of relegation this season.
Sandefjord may not only get a boost in points from their new signings, the ticket sales are up, enthusiasm have started to grow in the Sandefjord region, and people will be eager to welcome their new signings in their debut at Komplett Arena.
Carlos Grossmuller (assist as substitute) and Facundo Rodriguez (scored as substitute) were both involved in the 3-1 goal against Stabæk, and we may see more goals from the Uruguayan duo tonight.
Sogndal can be very tricky to score against at their best, but they havent showed form in a while, two straight defeats in the league now, and I rate them as the weakest team in the league at the moment.
I believe Sandefjord are the better side right now, and they rarely stop by one goal at home. Money back if Sandefjord wins by one.

Pick: Sandefjord (-1 AH), 9/10 stakes, odds 3.35@Unibet. Good luck!

Game start: 18:00 CET (19:00 Local time)

Vålerenga (6-5-6) lost 0-2 away against Strømsgodset last round, and the Oslo side are 1-3-1 in their latest league games.
1-0 victory at home against the newly promoted OBOS-Liga side Elverum on Thursday.
Vålerenga are 4-3-1 at home, with goal score 12-6.
Former Follo and Bodø/Glimt striker Fitim Azemi (Att) has been signed.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------

Tromsø (3-5-9) lost 1-2 at home against Molde, in Simo Valakaris debut as Tromsø coach on Sunday.
0-1 loss away against Lillestrøm in the Cup on Wednesday.
They are 0-1-6 in their latest Eliteserie games.
Tromsø are 2-1-6 on the road, with goal score 7-19.

Vålerenga - Tromsø ended 4-0 in 2016. (Tromsø - Vålerenga ended 2-4 earlier this season)

This will be Vålerengas final home game at Ullevaal Stadion, as they will play their home debut at their new stadium (Vålerenga Stadion) the September the 10th.
A tough first week in charge for Tromsøs new coach Simo Valakari, with 1-2 loss at home against Molde, and 0-1 loss against Lillestrøm in the Cup.
Tromsø havent won a league game since 16th of May, and Vålerenga have 6 straight victories at home against Tromsø in the league since 2010.
Home win, money back if Vålerenga wins by one goal.

Pick: Vålerenga (-1 AH), 9/10 stakes, odds 2.28@SBO. Good luck!
