After all that "Hard Stuff" maybe some cheesy Pop?

I like the new song of the Badly Drawn Boy, it's The Year Of The Rat, just click and download!

Ah c'mon, you don't really think I do not know Mike Patton, since I've seen Faith No More 5times live in concert! This man is a for sure a psycho.

His new music though is really weird and I must admit, I am probably too old for it now.. Let me simply call it "very loud".

Like this song, he has done with "The Dillinger Escape Plan": When Good Dogs Do Bad Things.

By the way, I bought today the new Beastie Boys-Album, and a phantastic album of catalan funkband "Ojos De Brujo" (Bari). Very nice.

hehehe, but it really isn't loud!!

It's just veeery different....very progressive and avantgard...but very good.
I ve seen Fantomas live last month, and even talked to Mike Patton a bit!!!

I was so thrilled!there aren't many people on this planet I admire that much, the concert was amazing.
I ve heard Dillinger Escape Plan, even have some of their stuff on MP3.

Yes, I ve listened to Gorgoroth, and a lot of metal bands, but I'm actually a catholic. Don't like the occultism sh*t.

I play the guitar for 4 years now, and like many metal bands(Death(Chuck RIP), Nile, Vader, Venom, Gorgoroth, Behemoth, MayheM, etc...)

I like Disciplin A Kitschme A LOT!!!

These new albums are actually even better than the old ones, Koja on the bass, this drummer, and a funk/soul vocal. a unique mixture of fusion/funk/d'n'b/rock/crossover/dance, great!!

I ve seen them live 3 times
np. Disciplin A Kitschme - Do Not Throw Concrete Blocks from the top of your houseeee, do not throw...

AM60, always music sixsty
Every summer and never except summer I listen to this record. The first half of the album is really good stuff.

Miami Sound, some funk and soul from miami 67-74

Hey Proud, I wanted to tell you,I ve seen Black Rebel Motorcycle Club in Zagreb last week...

They were amazing...they were ment to play before Lenny Kravitz's concert(which he decided to postpone due to "voice problems", but we all know it was because his management wasn't satisfied with tickets sell),and the guys from BRMC decided to play in another Club in Zagreb FOR FREE , and they even played around the city with some acoustic guitars...Great great move, and what a show...fantastic...

wow! Thats real rock attitude! 8) Must have been great watching!!

I have seen them once myself, some years ago, but unfortunalty they didnt have the best day then.

By the way, Is Zagreb busy in the summer? Last year it was so little things going on there when I visited. Or at least me and my friends went to the wrong places. We all asumed it would have been busier if the students had still been present. But they were at the cost (were we had been before Zagreb).

Well, I ve seen BRMC for the first time, and I must say we ALL agreed they were amazing!
What a vibe, the feeling can't be described...they even played a lot of the older stuff...
And they INSISTED on having the concert for FREE(with NO FEE, and no tickets!!) 8O
And I ve seen them in the city with a couple of guitars, I actually heard one of them saying "if we don't get to play in Mocvara(the club) we ll just play around the city all night

------------

About Zagreb...heh, during the summer you say? Most people are on the sea(coast, islands), and not much is happening, at least not for younger people...but you can still find great places if you know where to look...
Of course if you re there for the first time it's not as easy...

You should have PMed me!

Are you coming this summer?

P.S. Did you like your stay here in Croatia? Where have you been exactly?

I just wonder would it have been better that the whole rock open-air festival was organized somewere here in Dalmatia (Southern, coastline part of Croatia) ? No wonder it was postponed, just like Metallica few days after and as I read today Pink also canceled (not that I care though) & Santana is questionable, when half of potential attenders to that concerts are probably spread accros Dalmatia's coastline... and not to mention foreign tourists... I belive if the festival was organized here it would have been quite an invitation for more people to come here for summer holidays... not that we need mass-tourism here but if I were the organizer, I wouldn't think twice...

Not to mention that the last,REAL star concert that we had here in Split was Ray Charles (RIP) almoust 5 years ago... it was summer of 99...

Now playing : Caesars Palace - Jerk it out.mp3

And about Proud, he is well-known as "Croatia lover"... 8) ... he was here surely 'cause I remeber Roma - Hajduk thread when he said that Croatia is his favourite country for holidays in Europe... 8) ... and you can't say that unless you were here.

Btw. I noticed you've changed your avatar... Mario is really hot at the moment... another star from Split at Wimbledon  should I jump into tennis boots ?... no, I'll just stick to my clay court once in a year.
I don't know if you've heard but Goran "Genious" is going into football boots again  but this time in Hajduk's jersey at poljud... he is going to play testemonial match for Racunica...

Now playing : Dandy Warhols - We Used To Be Friends.mp3
