Jorge Wilstermann vs. Deportivo Cuenca (1.6 - 4 - 5.5)

The first leg in Cuenca ended 2-2 after a nice comeback by Jorge Wilstermann who were 2-0 down. Cuenca played that game without their star striker who will feature in the return leg. The game will be the first game to be played in the Estadio Felix Capriles for 9 months since the stadium was under renovation and the work still hasn't been quite completed. So that might cancel out the home advantage just a little bit. The biggest advantage of Bolivian teams of course is the altitude (Cochabamba is at more than 2.500 meters) but that should not have much impact here because Cuenca lies at more than 2.800 meters... Wilstermann won the Bolivian championship but have stuttered a bit since the season has resumed. Cuenca were in the bottom half of the table until Richard Paez (el Profesor) took the helm and have not lost a game since then. They currently lead the Ecuadorian league and are in better form than Wilstermann. They have the better players and also strike me as the better team. I don't see why Wilstermann should be favored here because the their traditional advantage (altitude) is cancelled out. I am on Cuenca X2 at 2.3 and Cuenca DNB at 4.

The odds on Wilstermann keep on dropping - Bet365 now offer Cuenca DC at 2.6. To me that really doesn't make much sense at all.
