Two For The Money

It really is a must see for all sports bettors.

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0417217/

Something like Devil's Advocate, just with sports betting instead of law and without Keanu Reeves (thank god).

P.S. This is not my favourite movie, it's just a must see for BA members.

"The machinist", from 2004. With Cristian Bale. Stunning performance, he had to loose 30 kilos for this part. Almost unrecognisable, like a skelet.. 8O Great mouvie..

I saw it some two weeks ago. Indeed it's a good movie, but not the one I would like to watch often. Once is enough

well, kamei I'm not one of those whose favourites are "Crossroads: A Britney Spears story" or "American Pie 8", I dislike most of Hollywood modern productions, but I simple dont recon this movie as a classic. Good for watching, but I forgot about it 2 hours after the movie finished.

Do you rember Dennis Hopper talking about sicilians orgin with Christopher Walken in True Romance? Gary Oldman was great too in this great film (Tarantino wrote the script).

Hm, hm.. I think I know the scene. When they come to Walken's house or whatever, and Hooper talks to him..trying to intimidate him or something.. Right?

I don't know, if this movie was there, but here is my obvious choice:

U-Turn

The best film I've ever seen... Maybe I'm not a cinema maniac, but it's amazing black comedy for me.

Just watch it, if you hadn't...

I liked it alot and mainly because Bale performance. But since " The Salten Sea" no other movie thrilled me in such way. Maybe because everybody see in some particular movie something from his reality.

" Good Fellas " - words are pointless. One of the best movies ever.

No, Walken, who represents mafia, investigates Hopper about his escaped son (who accidentally took mobs cocaine).Hopper knowing that it's his end, asks for a cigarette and slowly starts to explain that historically, sicilians orgin from african warriors who systematically raped sicilian women. Very strong and unforgetable scene.
Two other good scenes are: Gary Oldman's one mans show as a pimp in fight with Christian Slater and three parts shout out in the hotel suite.
