Atlas failed to win all 3 points last night. They were in a must win situation because Cruz Azul are playing today and they can surpass them. Atlas had the lead of 1:0 for the whole game but conceded a late goal from Pachuca for 1:1.

Tonight Cruz Azul must win, they are hosting Veracruz that are at the bottom in the relegation table and they are the leaders to get relegated next Clausura at spring.

Atlas will also depend about Necaxa that are hosting Monarcas. Best player of Monarcas, Raul Ruidiaz was celebrating hard after his country won 2:0 and qualified for the World Cup after many years. Raul Ruidiaz also played around 60 minutes for Peru against New Zealand. He also got drunk and celebrated, so he won't be fit 100 % for today.

Necaxa needs 0:0 or 1:1 with Monarcas, that will put Monarcas on 25 points and they have better goal difference than Atlas with +5 compared to +4 of Atlas.

So, Necaxa needs a point against Monarcas that are already qualified for Liguilla and will play with tired Ruidiaz, and Cruz Azul must win against relegation side Veracruz.

I will write more info about other games soon...

      Cruz Azul - Veracruz

Last night Pachuca were a gift from God for Cruz Azul Why? Because Atlas failed to win at home, Atlas needed all 3 points badly to make the Liguilla chances higher, now Atlas are depending on Monarcas that are facing Necaxa, and Veracruz that are facing Cruz Azul. So basically Atlas are depending about 2 teams playing away from home, they need either for Monarcas to defeat Necaxa or for Veracruz to survive and avoid losing at Cruz Azul, that will keep Atlas in Liguilla because then Atlas will be 8th still and make the playoffs.

So Cruz Azul are coached by Paco Jemez, very well known coach to many of you that followed La Liga and his time at Rayo Vallecano. Jemez is a good coach and a very passionate one, but he became sort of a living 'meme' in Mexico, becauase he got the biggest 'meme' team of all time in Liga MX, Cruz Azul. Known losers in last few years, they so often had the lead 2:0 then lost 2:3 in dying minutes or had the lead for the whole game of 1:0 then lost 1:2 and so on, you get the point. There's even a term in Mexico called, "do you know what time it is? ", that's when you post the memes of "it's Cruz Azelada time", time when Cruz Azul will lose the game that they had in their palms all the time, they always find the way to fuk things up. And that was not an exception in the times of Paco Jemez in Cruz Azul, he's not too long in this club and Mexico, but he had already multiple chances to make the Liguilla and playoffs, and not once he managed to place Cruz Azul into playoffs, really embarrassing because they had high hopes for him.

So this is it, Cruz Azul either wins this game today and finally makes Liguilla, or they draw or lose and Paco Jemez leaves the club slash gets fired, whatever you like better. No way he is staying for the next Clausura andthe 2nd part of the season if he fails to win tonight.

Veracrzu are at the bottom of the relegation table and they are one of the worst teams in the league with financial problems, violent fans, violent players. Veracruz are left with 0 high profile players, they sold their best player Julio Furch in Santos Laguna last season, in my opinion they are the favorites to get relegated and they are indeed at the moment being last on the relegation table for the whole season, first part and the second part.

So, Cruz Azul must win this game, they were give a huge opportunity last night by Pachuca, it's time for the 'memes' to stop, it's time for Cruz Azul to finally make Liguilla playoffs, it's time for Paco Jemez to show what he can do in his first playoffs with this club since he arrived.

If they fuk this up, I don't know if I will laugh or cry, there's always a chance with Cruz Azul, this is a meme club and trust me, they ALWAYS find a way to fuk things up. But I'll trust them today, this is once in a lifetime opportunity, facing shitty Veracruz and Atlas failed to win all 3 points, Cruz Azul and Paco Jemez must win today, I will trust them.

      Main Pick:

Cruz Azul to win @ 1.35 (Pinnacle)
      Stake: 10/10

      Side Pick:

      Cruz Azul -1.5 AH @ 2.05 (Pinnacle)
      Stake: 5/10

        Necaxa - Monarcas

What was supposed to be a "comeback to reality" Apertura for Necaxa after they sold their best player by far, Chilean Edson Puch to Pachuca to replace Hirving Chucky Lozano that went to play on PSV and dominate the Europe, Necaxa were expected to finally start playing like they really are a team that just few years ago arrived in this league from Ascenso second division, but that did not happen.

Instead Necaxa brought another strong season and they are so close to making it into another Liguilla playoffs again, who could expect that without Edson Puch? Not many people. For today Necaxa will have to face Monarcas, this is the last round for both teams and Monarcas already are in playoffs. Given Morelia's somewhat limited squad of players and not having too many subs at all too replace the main guns in Raul Ruidiaz when needed, I don't know how much they will invest in this game tonight. Monarcas already are in playoffs, they far enough away from the relegation overall table not to worry too much, and Liguilla is just around the corner for Monarcas.

With their limited squad that does not have enough subs, and Liguilla playoffs about to start any moment, Monarcas should not waste their best players for full 90 minutes tonight. They can't risk playing Raul Ruidiaz, their best player by far, to play full 90 minutes against defensively aggressive Necaxa that will fight hard to keep that 1 point and make Liguilla. Not to mention that Raul Ruidiaz was recently injured and Monarcas had to figh without him for a good period of time in Liga MX.

Also Raul Ruidiaz of Monarcas was celebrating hard after he beat New Zealand with Peru few days ago in 2:0 win to make the historical day for Peru and qualify for World Cup after so many years again. He for sure got drunk and celebrated hard as did the whole Peru. Now he needs to play full 90 minutes against Necaxa that are going to be extremely aggressive in defense and "break bones" just to make Liguilla and avoid losing, while his club Monarcas are not even in danger of relegation and they already did make the playoffs, and Liguilla is starting soon and they need him 100 % to have any chance there? Yeah, that's not gonna happen.

Necaxa bought the veteran goalkeeper (when they got promoted) from Argentina that won trophies many times with his past clubs, he is the best goalkeeper in the league by far for last few seasons, Necaxa also have one of the best defensive tactics and records in the league, they can't lose today and Monarcas are with smaller motive + some tired players. Also for Necaxa defensive back and full on physical beast Ryan Beckeles will be available tonight. I can't see them losing and I see this finishing with under 2.5 goals as well.

        Main Pick:

        Necaxa -0 AH @ 1.50 (Pinnacle)
        Stake: 10/10

        Side Pick:

        Under 2.5 @ 1.88 (Pinnacle)
        Stake: 5/10

I'm not sure about any other bets so I won't write picks but I can give you my info and predictions, there are so many good games today, here it is:

          Queretaro - UNAM Pumas

UNAM Pumas are going through the biggest depression in recent times, they are in big crysis this season, biggest surprise. Queretaro are great team for overs, always scoring plenty but their defense never holds well enough. They also need points for relegation battle going into Clausura, I would lean towards hosts and over

          Queretaro to win
          Over 2.5

          Monterrey - UANL Tigres

Battle for the top place in the league and the "title" of finishing first in the regular season, means nothing really. Playoffs mother, not this. So this is the hardest game to predict, it can go over if a goal comes early it can finish 0:0, it all depends, impossible to predict, literally. Best for live betting. Monterrey's Hurtado played for Colombia, Pabon and Morti just played few days ago in Copa MX against America, they had a huge tiring game in Copa with 0:0 and heart shock penalties, but they've won in the end. Tigres are Tigres, but how much will Tuca invest here? Does he really wants to risk the best lineup when Liguilla starts? Tough call, draw is possible.

          Leon - Guadajalara Chivas

Chivas failed to make the playoffs after winning the title in Clausura just months ago, really embarrassing for Almeida and his boys, lol. They are also out of the Copa cause Atlante a team from second division knocked them out, lol. Horrible season for Chivas after winning the title in last one. Leon are with Mauro Boselli, the highest scorer and one of the best strikers in the league. But how hard will Leon try? They are in playoffs and they need to save energy, Chivas also doesn't care at all here, they'all attack they don't give a damn anymore, this is the last game before new season, no need to play defensively. But they will try and win the game, they are a very proud team and Almeida will want to finish on a high in Clausura. Leon must save energy for playoffs.

          Chivas -0 AH
