Default Norway Eliteserien 22-23 Oct

Sunday 22.10.2017 Stabæk - Tromsø:

Stabæk are using natural grass at Nadderud. Tromsø are using artificial turf at their home stadium.

Game start 17:00 CET (Local time 18:00)

Stabæk (9-7-9) impressed by coming back from being 0-2 behind, to claim a 2-2 draw away against high-flying Sarpsborg 08, with the top scorer in Eliteserien, Ohi Omoijuanfo (Att 23/17) out with injury.
Stabæk are 6-2-5 at home, with goal score 22-22.
Ohi Omoijuanfo (Att 23/17) is most likely out for the rest of the season.
First choice keeper Mande Sayouba (Kee 21/0) has been ruled out for the latest games with injury, and is doubtful.
Ronald Jose Hernandez Pimentel (Def 5/0) has only played 5 games, but hes already suspended (3 yellow cards)

----------------------------------------------------------------------------

Tromsø (6-7-12) lost 0-3 at home against Rosenborg last round, and the red and whites are holding a relegation spot with 5 games remaining. Its is very close between the sides in the relegation zone though, and they will be equal points with Aalesund at the playoff spot with a draw here.
Tromsø are 2-2-8 on the road, with goal score 9-25.
Magnar Ødegaard (Def 25/1) is suspended.

Stabæk - Tromsø ended 0-3 in 2016. (Tromsø - Stabæk ended 0-3 earlier this season)

Meeting between a mid-table Stabæk side and a Tromsø side in clear need of points to avoid relegation.
Stabæks 2017 season have been a story of highs and lows, and with top scorer Ohi out, Stabæk seem to end in nowheres land in the middle.
Tromsø showed solid signs of improvement under new coach Valakari before the Rosenborg game, and the guests have two good opportunities at home to climb above the relegation zone at the end of the season.
Tromsø should be well aware of Stabæks missing star up front, and a draw here could be the difference between relegation or not for the Northern side.
Under 2.5 will be my call in the rain.
10bet offer 2.45, Unibet 2.50, Pinnacle 2.61, while Marathonbet offer 2.66 for Under 2.5 goals.

Pick: Under 2.5 goals, 9/10 stakes, odds 2.66@Marathonbet. Good luck!

Sunday 22.10.2017 Sandefjord - Strømsgodset:

Sandefjord are using natural grass at Komplett Arena. Strømsgodset are using artificial turf at their home stadium.

Game start 17:00 CET (Local time 18:00)

Sandefjord (10-3-12) lost 0-2 away against Haugesund last round, and the newly promoted side are 2-0-3 in their latest games.
Sandefjord are 7-2-3 at home, with goal score 19-11.
Facundo Rodriguez (Att 6/2) is out with injury.
Pau Morer (Mid/Att 24/3) is suspended.

---------------------------------------------------------------

Strømsgodset (10-8-7) won 1-0 at home against Odd last round, and they have 4 straight victories in the league.
Strømsgodset are 2-5-5 on the road, with goal score 7-15.
No suspensions.

Sandefjord - Strømsgodset ended 1-2 in 2015. (Strømsgodset - Sandefjord ended 1-0 earlier this season)

Meeting between two mid-table sides, that need some more points to be secure from relegation.
Sandefjord have dropped in form lately, but the newly promoted side have really impressed looking at their performances this season.
Strømsgodset started the season way below their expectations, but they have been playing like a top 3 side since the summer break.

- 4 of Sandefjords 6 latest Elitesere games have ended Under 2.5 goals.
- 5 of Strømsgodsets 6 latest Eliteserie games have ended Under 2.5 goals.
- Strømsgodset have kept a clean sheet in their 4 latest away games

Pick: Under 2.5 goals, 9/10 stakes, odds 1.909@Pinnacle. Good luck!

Sunday 22.10.2017 Brann - Rosenborg:

Both teams are using natural grass at their home stadiums.

Game start 19:00 CET (Local time 20:00)

Brann (11-7-7) got a 5 minute overtime goal against them in the 0-1 loss away against Molde last round, and the bergen side have 3 straight defeats in the league now.
Brann are 7-3-2 at home, with goal score 26-10.
Key defender Bismar Acosta (Def 23/1) and top scorer Kristoffer Barmen (Mid 22/7) are suspended.

--------------------------------------------------------------

Top side Rosenborg (16-6-3) won 3-0 away against Tromsø last round, but lost 1-3 away against Zenit St Petersburg in the Europa League on Thursday.
Players like Jørgen Skjelvik (Def 18/0), Marius Lundemo (Mid 16/0), Milan Jevtovic (Att 22/8) and Pål Andre Helland (Att 18/6) started on the bench against Zenit, and should be likely to start in Bergen tonight.
Rosenborg are 8-3-1 on the road, with goal score 23-7.
No injuries/suspensions.

Brann - Rosenborg ended 0-0 in 2016. (Brann - Rosenborg ended 0-2 in the Super Cup final in Bergen earlier this season, Rosenborg - Brann ended 2-1 in Trondheim)

Brann have yet again played a solid season overall, but they have 3 straight defeats in the league now, and their key players seem a bit worned out. 2 key players out with suspension here, and several players have been out with knocks, even though they are reported clear to start the game.
Rosenborg lost 1-3 away against Zenit in the Europa League on Thursday, but they have been very solid in Eliteserien the entire season, and they can claim their 3rd straight league championship with a victory tonight (depending on the results from the Molde and Sarpsborg 08 games).

- Brann have lost 3 straight games in Eliteserien.
- Brann are missing a key defender, and their top scorer with suspension here.
- Rosenborg are 8-1-1 in their latest games in Eliteserien.
- Rosenborg have 5 straight victories on the road in Eliteserien.
- Rosenborg have won 4 of their 5 latest league games by 2 goals or more.
- Rosenborg may claim the title with a win (depending on the other results this round).

Brann are very capable at home, but Brann have not seemed close to top form in their latest games, and they will miss two key players when facing the top side Rosenborg tonight.
Rosenborg have been a level above the rest this season, and they have a wide squad to handle multiple games per week.
They are 8-1-1 in their latest league games, and I cant see Brann stop Helland, Bendtner & co at the moment.
Rosenborg have won by 2 goals or more in 4 of their 5 latest league games, and Ill go for Rosenborg -1 AH here.

Pick: Rosenborg (-1 AH), 9/10 stakes, odds 4.10@Unibet. Good luck!
