Default Germany, Lower Leagues, 14.-15.04.2018

1860 München - Eichstätt (RL Bavaria, Sat, 14.04.18, 12:30)
1860 is approaching promotion playoffs. Very unlikely that Bayern II can still catch up with them. Spring season saw the Lions return to full domination mode by winning last 6 games (last 5 by 2+ goals!) and the club is already preparing for 3.Liga, but ofc those stupid playoffs can waste a complete season in just two games (Bavarian Champion will face one of the Southwest teams). 1860 gonna play 5 games in next 15 days, but coach announced that the best possible lineup will start vs Eichstätt. Squad situation is very good. - Eichstätt started the season with euphoric but naive gameplay and paid the price for it by conceding tons of goals. They improved a bit in Sept, only to experience the highest defeat of the season with a 0:6 at Ingolstadt a bit later. That was the final wake-up call! They improved massively in defense afterwards and lately are even quite productive in attack, esp thanks to league-leading topscorer Eberle. Unfortunately Eberle (who scored 12 of last 22 Eichstätt goals) received his fifth yellow card last week, so he will miss the season highlight to play at "Grünwalder Stadion". Second best scorer Scintu is still longterm injured, ie 25 of 48 Eichstätt season goals are not available. Regular Schrauffstetter (dmf) isn't fully fit, but should be able to get on pitch. - Visitors will most likely play very defensive-minded and hope for some counter attacks or setpiece situations. Munich Lions are ofc used to this scenario because lots of teams try to park the bus against them (mostly in vain). Eichstätt is handicapped in attack w/o Eberle+Scintu and the team never played in front of a sold out stadium with 12.500 opponent fans. I think that 1860 superior quality and firepower will get another clear win here.

Röchlingen - Stuttgarter Kickers (RL Southwest; Sat, 14.04.18, 14:00)
SVR lost again last Wednesday and now they are done. Even good performances haven't been enough to win games lately, so drop back to Oberliga is inevitable. To make things worse, captain Weber (cdf) is again injured and that is really bad news: average of conceded goals did rise from 1,86 to 3,22(!) in the games he missed... Best offensive player Zimmermann is still out injured. - Stukis are still in danger and need points. Coach Vaz resigned one day before the game vs Elversberg (1:1). New coach Seeberger already had his debut as Kickers played regional cup three days ago, losing 1:2 after extratime vs 3rd div opponent Aspach. They should still gain some confidence from that game though after good, determined performance. Rotation options are limited due to lots of missings. - Pity that Stuttgart played extratime, but I still have to try them here after coach change. Hosts are tired as well, miss keyplayers and lost last hope for survival.

14/04/2018 18:30 Bayern Munich - G'ladbach
Type: 1 (-1.5)
Course: 2.04

Rate 8/10

I do not take the Bayern course with handicrafts in this meeting. Buki think that Bayern, if I have a foreman, will lie on the turf? The feta is being prepared and the title is celebrated at the Alianz Arena, which is why Bayern will want to provide spectators with a great spectacle.
Otherwise:
- I do not believe in the second weak Bayern match, just like he did with Sevilla
- Bayern order a rematch for the defeat in the autumn round
- Bayern did not cover the -1 handicap in only 4 out of 14 meetings at Alianz Arena
- several important shortcomings at the guests: Johnson, Stindl, Bobadilla, Hermann

Cottbus - Fürstenwalde (RL Northeast; Sun, 15.04.18, 13:30)
League dominator Cottbus is just 3 more wins away from securing promotion playoffs. Remarkable that they kept the good form and focus up all season despite some important longterm missings. New squad worries today: Startsev (rdf) is suspended (good replacement available with Baude) and topscorer Mamba is doubtful. - Fürstenwalde played a stellar first part of season, but then the offensive productivity of Gladrow, Atici, Siakam & Co faded, so they got only 2 wins from last 10 rounds. Defensive midfield duo Wuthe + Zurawsky is still out. - Cottbus already won two roadgames at Fürstenwalde this season, 3:1 in RL and 3:2 in regional cup. That cup game three weeks ago saw a clearly superior Cottbus team in first half, but they were only 2:1 up at halftime due to bad efficiency while Fürstenwalde scored from one chance. Second half was more balanced and both teams created several additional chances apart from the goals. Visitors are playing the 7th game in 22 days here whereas Cottbus had a bit less tight schedule. Thought about wether over is better choice but Cottbus' defense usually so rocksolid that -1,5 seems like right way to go.
