Default Norway OBOS-Ligaen 16-22 May

Wednesday 16.05.2018 Viking - Sandnes Ulf:

Both teams are using natural grass at their home stadiums.

Game start 17:00 CET (18:00 Local time)

Viking (5-1-1) played 0-0 draw away against Levanger last round, and ended a 4 game winning streak, with 14 goals scored.
Viking are 2-0-1 at home, with goal score 7-3.

-----------------------------------------------------------------

Sandnes Ulf (4-3-0) won 4-0 at home against Florø last round, and the guests have only allowed goals against in 1 of their 5 latest league games.
Sandnes Ulf are 1-2-0 on the road, with goal score 5-4.

Viking - Sandnes Ulf ended 2-2 in 2014.

Local derby game on 16th of May, between two promotion/playoff candidates in OBOS-Ligaen 2018.
These teams have really turned things around this season. Viking are often involved in high scoring games (they have scored 14 goals in their 5 latest games), while Sandnes Ulf have only allowed 2 goals against in their last 5 games.
Recent results and defensive tactics are soon forgotten when these teams face each other though, and this is the one game of the season both sides will give their all to win.
Both teams have several players that can score, and Over will be my call.
Money back if the teams stop at 3 goals scored.

Pick: Over 3 goals, 9/10 stakes, odds 2.29@Pinnacle. Good luck!

Monday 21.05.2018 Åsane - Kongsvinger:

Both teams are using artificial turf at their home stadiums.

Game start 17:00 CET (18:00 Local time)

Åsane (3-2-3) impressed with a soild 4-1 victory away against promotion candidates Sogndal last round, and former Eliteserie strikers Dennis Antwi (Att 8/6) and Erik Huseklepp (Att 8/3) are producing goals up front.
Åsane are 2-1-1 at home, with goal score 9-6.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Kongsvinger (2-1-5) won 2-1 at home against HamKam last round, and they climbed above the relegation zone for a while.
Kongsvinger are 0-1-2 on the road, with goal score 4-8.
Captain Adem Guven (Att 5/1) is out.

Åsane - Kongsvinger ended 2-3 in 2017.

Meeting between two mid-table sides, Åsane however can fight for a playoff spot this season though, if they keep their key players Antwi and Huseklepp clear of injuries. Kongsvinger can absolutely give Mjeldes men a real fight in Bergen tonight, and they should be well aware of the many high scoring games at Myrdal. Money back if the game stops at 3 goals.

Pick: Over 3 goals, 9/10 stakes, odds 2.02@SBO. Good luck!

I was very close to pick Sarpsborg 08, and yes they should have a good chance away against Sandefjord. Under can also be a alternative here, Sandefjord have two straight 0-1 defeats at home against top 5 sides like Brann and Vålerenga, and teams often shape up after a 0-5 defeat.

Regarding Stabæk - Odd..Stabæk with 5 straight Unders (league+cup), and runner-up top scorer in Eliteserien 2017, Ohi Omoijuanfo (Att 10/4), has yet to show the same form as last season for the home side. 19 year old Ola Brynhildsen (Mid/Att 9/3) is the main player to watch for the home side at the moment, and his forward runs from midfield position have proved to be one of Stabæks biggest threats so far in 2018.
Odd have impressed a lot at home, but they are 1-0-3 on the road, and only scored 3 goals.
Stabæk - Odd ended 2-0 in 2017.

Ola to score @ 3,10 bet365
Thinking about Stabæk over 1,5 here as Odd allow two or more on his road games. Only Molde is anomaly as Odd won 1:0

Tuesday 22.05.2018 Viking - Aalesund:

Viking are using natural grass at Viking Stadion. Aalesund are using artificial turf at their home stadium.

Game start 18:00 CET (Local time 19:00)

Viking (6-1-1) outclassed Sandnes Ulf 5-2 at home last round, in front of a full Viking Stadion at 16th of May. 3 straight home wins in the league.
Viking are 3-0-1 at home, with goal score 12-5.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Aalesund (6-2-0) disappointed with only a 2-2 draw at home against Strømmen last round, but two key players were injured early in first half then.
Aalesund are 3-0-0 on the road, with goal score 8-4.
Bjørn Helge Riise (Def/Mid 3/0) and top scorer Torbjørn Agdestein (Att 7/6) are out.
Daniel Gretarsson (Def 5/1) and Holmbert Fridjonsson (Att 8/6) are doubtful.

Viking - Aalesund ended 1-2 in 2017.

Battle between two of the promotion favorites in OBOS-Ligaen 2018.
Viking have been involved in many high scoring games this season, and the Stavanger side have got many goals already from capable players like Tripic and Høiland.
Aalesund have also played very well, but one by one their key players have picked up knocks and injuries lately. Top scorer Torbjørn Agdestein is reported out for this game, and the other key attacker Fridjonsson is rated doubtful.
We might see a Aalesund side trying to park the bus here, due to their many missings, but they rarely succeed with this tactic.
Another good chance for the in-form Viking side here.

Pick: Viking (-0.5 AH), 9/10 stakes, odds 2.11@SBO. Good luck!
