Mate you MUST keep record. How they hell would you know how you're doing without record...

It's the absolute basis of everything else. You would start with simple blog/excel sheet, and in the end you will end with multiple excel sheets on almost everything related to a match

It's incredible how few people keep a betting record.

I think because few see betting like a job or a business. For many is a hobby and don't need an extra work.

Has anyone here tried our tool to track bets?

Smart Bet Tracker was created in 2013 to help arbitrage bettors but evolved to support any type of bets and I must say most subscribers are now straight bettors. We have been online for more than 3 years and we keep adding features based on customers feedback. This week we added 'each way' bets. It's free (lifetime) or paid, depending on your betting volume.

Just a few features: any number of bookmakers and wallets, tipsters management, tag bets (to analyze different betting strategies), multiple currencies, single and multiple bets, surebets, money transactions (deposits, withdrawals, transfers, bonus, etc), reminder notes, many reports, live markets information (from Betfair), automatic or manual bet settlement...

Give it a try and ask me anything.
Regards,

It should fit all bettors. Professionals will probably need to pay, to track all their bets. Most bettors will be able to use it for free, unless they place more than 5 bets every day. It's easy for everyone. Regards

It's good to keep track of your betting. So you get painfully aware how much you lost and maybe you get cured from gambling.

Whether you win or loose, it's always good to know. At least you have the chance to decide. If you don't know, you probably think you are a winner. Every time you hit a high odds bet you believe it covers your previous losses, and it's usually not the case. If you track and analyze your bets you can stop betting or change strategies.
