Unlike most African leagues, this championship is not dominated by home advantage. We have Zoo who are a newly promoted team and Leopards who are one of the best teams in the league with good budget and players but lately were not having much luck. However, in last 2 games took a very important home win and drew #1 Gor Mahia as visitors.
I think visitors are by far the stronger team, despite that the table shows otherwise. Fair odds for away dnb are 1,90 IMO so draw seems quite liekly IMO.

Hertha Berlin finished 6th, won 12/17 home games last season. They are obvious solid home team. Interestingly, except Werder game Hertha found the net 16/17 games. It will be obvious revenge game for coach Dardai. Hertha scored first goals 13/17 last season and they are very confident to keep score in their advantage. Hertha was leading game average 40 minutes by match while Werder lead only averaga 21 minutes. Werder lost 6/9 games against Top-9 teams last season.
Hertha lost 2-0 to Dortmund, beaten Stuttgart 2-0 on first game of season whilst Werder lost both games 2-0 and 1-0 to B.München and Hoffenheim. Defender Moisander and captain of team Junuzovic will miss the game. Werder made very awful start last season and it looks like same habit may follow them this season too.

I have closely followed Croatia's games throughout this championship and they didn't offer anything spectacular. The whole game of Croatia's team depends on two players, Bogdanovic and Saric. Almost every game these two go over 15-20 poinst. The rest of the team are average players. I haven't watched Russia's game so far, but their win over Serbia speaks a lot. I think their group with Serbia, Turkey, Latvia was much stronger than Croatia's group. Croatias had a lot of problems winning over Montenegro which was trashed from Latvia. For me this will be one very easy win for Russia. GL

Although this is start of the new season, of course that both teams will try to win 3 points. There is no reason to play defensively, the winning points at the start of the season may mean too much for the final outcome after the season. I expect an attacking football in this game that will result in at least 4 goals scored on both sides. I think that this will be first match for both teams with minimum 4 goals for this season. Both teams for now have 1 win and 1 lose, but now for me only goals are important.
