The Handicapper v1.4.2

v1.4.2 should fix latest issues. The Handicapper works well for most users and on most computers, but from time to time, and especially after some new features have been added, some users have encountered problems. The software is a constant work in progress, but I hope that after this update (v1.4.2), there will be no need for major updates in a while.

Soon there, v3 will be released in a few weeks time. Real-money betting (Pinnacle Sports) will be possible along with creating auto-betting rules.

The Handicapper v3

v3_beta is ready and tested by a few users. The final version will be published week 8. v3 has most features that v2 had and a few more. Biggest difference is a new (10x bigger) database, which feeds The Handicapper with daily updated data. The new database has made it possible to improve the simulation algorithm to hopefully be one of the better ones there is. With v3 it's also possible to make real money wagers if you have an account with Pinnacle Sports. Creating autobetting rules is also supported, which should give even the most sophisticated bettors something to cheer about. Stay tuned for the release sometimes during next week.

The Handicapper v3 released

After a long autumn and winter version 3.0 of The Handicapper is finally ready for launch. A lot of testing has been done but there might still be some minor flaws that have gone unnoticed. These will be fixed during March in addition with a few features that will be added before the MLB Regular Season starts.

With v3.0 you should be able to do everything needed for having a succesful MLB Spring Training as a handicapper. The basics are the same as in v2 but the user experience should be much more flexible and pleasant. A new database and an improved simulation algorithm should give you the needed edge to beat the market. Real money wagers with Pinnacle Sports and automatized betting makes this software quite unique.

MLB 2016 - Projected Final Standings

It took a while to publish this years MLB Regular Season projections. Now when they are finally here I have to admit I am pretty satisfied with the result. I understand how silly that sounds, because we are talking about projections (the result is unknown), but the reason to my satisfaction is rather that the projections are looking pretty logical without any "human interaction". What this means is that the projections are a result of a simulation process by The Handicapper without any smoothing in the end.
