    Germany 3.Liga, 29.-30.07.

    Rostock - Aspach (Sat, 29.07.)
Fans hope that "Hansa Kogge" will finally sail to some success under experienced coach Dotchev. Well, at least he knows how to promote (done it with Paderborn and Aue). And seasonstart wasn't bad, winning 2:0 at Lotte with a solid perf eventhough the lead was bit lucky (doubtful penalty) and situation at Lotte might have helped them (SFL team wanted to get rid of coach Corrochano). Many squad changes during summerbreak: 7-8 regulars left and I'm not convinced yet that replacements are of same quality right now. Evseev (cmf) is missing today and captain Bischoff rated doubtful. - Aspach changed the coach as well and lost 5 regulars, most notably topscorer Röser, who went to Dresden. Last week they won 4:1 vs Magdeburg, which wasn't exactly deserved, at least not by that margin, but they did show a deadly efficiency with setpieces. Thermann (cmf) is injured, Sané (fw) doubt. - Rostock's "Ostsee-Stadion" was surely not known for being a homefortress in last couple of seasons and Aspach usually are no total mugs on the road, so I consider this a 50:50 game. Aspach +0,25 @1,99 (3/10).

    Zwickau - Lotte (Sat, 29.07.)
Ok, I have to admit that I initially skipped this game, but recent events at Lotte (and the betting market) changed my mind. - Zwickau played an awesome spring 2017, but failed to do the final step at seasonend, so they finished 5th instead of 4th, which would've brought them a DFB Cup start in 17/18. Three regulars left, esp two of those departures hurt a lot: wintersigning Acquistapace, who stabilized the df, returned to Lotte(!) and offensive keyplayer P.Göbel is gone, too. Last week bit undeserved 0:1 defeat at Chemnitz. - Lotte's coach Atalan left for Bochum late before seasonstart and got replaced by Corrochano, who stayed in charge for only 13 days! Apparently the team had problems with him, so clubboss decided to do another coach change after only one game... New coach Fascher demands aggressive, fighting performance today, and I guess that the team has no choice in the matter; they just have to show up now and deliver! According to last training info, the team looks a lot more motivated than under Corrochano. - Lotte odds did rise and I think the market overreacts to that coach change. SFL squad is none of those juvenile boygroups, it is one of the oldest teams of the league and didn't experience a lot of changes before this season. Those guys won't forget how to run, kick the ball and play as a team because of the situation. Besides, it was "player's decision" to change the coach, so that shouldn't disturb but rather liberate them. Lotte +0,5 @2,04 (3/10).

    Magdeburg-Erfurt

First Home Game for Magdeburg and they where trashed last Weekend by a 1-4 against Großaspach. But fairly must say Lotte have shoot some good Goals and Magdeburg was´nt that bad. But now they will face today Erfurt. Magdeburg last Season very Strong at Home and they want to play for Promotion-Places this Year. Erfurt on other Side with solid Draw against Muenster last Week. But for me they will be Big Relegation Candidate for this year. They have not enough money and loose some important players in the Summer. Tyrala, Erb and Aydin all left the Club. Also they bought not so good Players i think. Also they fact is that they will today miss Moeckel in defensive by injury. Another big Blow for Erfurt. If Magdeburg can be such strong like last Year at Home - i think it will be a Win for them today.

Totally agree with Neubs here. Home win for Magdeburg should be the best bet of the round in this league. To add another Argument for the tip is that guests from Erfurt had big Problems to prepare for the match due to flooded Training grounds in Erfurt.
