A pity, Chinese players let me down today, Bingtao 3-4 but oveall 6-3 for the day, with good odds, would take any day!

The first QF that is coming up is Neil Robertson vs. McGill. I think Neil Robertson will edge that one. He's looked the more convincing player in this tournament so far and he's got a great h2h against McGill. I am quite confident that he will win and will also take the HC. My call is for Neil Robertson to win 5-2 or 5-3.

I was not able to do research on first two matchups, again I dont trust Neil, if he is behind he can crack. In the first round he played shitty, later he started to play better but I dont trust him.

I like handicap wins on White and O`Sullivan but I dont like the odds...
A tough round, early rounds are a lot better to bet on than these later stages...

Neil came back against Li H. and was able to turn that game around. I doubt he'll crack. McGill had some narrow victories against players he should easily have dispensed with. He's mostly advanced due to a favorable draw. I think today will be the end of the line for him...

As you noted, however, at this point - there really are no juicy odds out there. The players are pretty much known quantities now and the odds seem to be priced right...

So Robertson will also be my last bet for now.

I like Ayouri and think he could get past Wilson but undoubtedly Wilson is very strong and in great form. So no bet for me...

I also like Lisowski and think that he's got more potential but I won't be betting against the rocket man. I'd peg Lisowski's chances at approx. 20-25% which is more or less where the odds are at...

White versus Ursenbacher could go the distance but I won't be betting on that either.

Lisowski is an uncut diamond and until it is so, he is no bet against players like Ronnie. He will make silly mistakes or try to play with his right arm in the wrong moment and at the end lose 2-5 or similary.

Yup, that's why I will be staying away from that one. He's prone to doing silly stuff although I don't think his nerves will fray against the rocket man. They have never played against each other in a tournament but they've practiced together quite a bit. Nonetheless, the rocket man has the experience and the form to see this through. I won't be betting against O'Sullivan.

Be careful, Lisowski and White are cancers (horoscope) and we crack under pressure when we are not 110% sure in our abilities and that is all the time

Joke aside, horoscope helps a lot iat individual sports, I follow this for 30 years and there are differences in temperamet.
It is no real surprise that in 30 years you had not a single cancer in the top of Snooker. Nerves play great role here.
We are better in team sports.

I also failed with Robertson today. McGill versus Robertson was really poor and scrappy - O'Sullivan should beat him comfortably. I also doubt Ursenbacher will get past Wilson.

Yes, it looks like Wilson v Ronnie finals.
Perhaps the wisest bet for the semis would be a double of these two...

Exactly my thinking.

I'm usually not a combo player but I've taken a combo for tomorrow:

- Kyron Wilson to beat Ursenbacher @ 1.33
- Ronnie O'Sullivan -2.5 @ 1.75 vs. Anthony McGill

There is little doubt in my mind that we'll see Kyron Wilson and Ronnie O'Sullivan in the finals. And there's a pretty big gap between these 2 and their opponents... Tomorrow they will play 11 frames, so you need 6 to win... Ursenbacher may draw confidence from the fact that he's beaten Wilson in their only previous match. I can see Ursenbacher getting a couple of frames and he may well keep it tight but I don't envisage him beating Wilson right now... Ronnie O'Sullivan has encountered McGill five times and beaten him on every occasion by varying margins. I expect this to end 6-2 or so. I really doubt that McGill will get beyond 3 frames. He's just not at the same level as the rocket man.

The first match looks ok, after a phenomenal start by Ursenbacher (2-0) Kyren took over and he now leads 5-3.. one more frame needed and I expect him to do so.
For the evening I took Ronnie -2,5 AH, should be done. Ronnie won this handicap on all matches so far, with exception of the "derby" against Higgins. My call there is 6-2!

Ronnie with fantastic start, as expected.
2-0 up and on his way to three.

Damned, 4-1 up and missing an easy black on his way to 5-1. Still, Ronnie leads 4-2 now and should win us a handicap!

McGill is so tough, now he is rocking and it is only 3-4 now and McGill on the open table. So a winning bet is turning to a losing one as it seems.
At least a double at odds @1,70 or about is still alive, but I must say am dissaponited with how easily Ronnie let his advantage slip away. Almost so angry that I hope McGill to win...

Now a handicap is lost and as it seems, Ronnie will win 6-4...
That is why these stages are so tough to predict, the finals will be the same, but it will be played to 9 wins and that means even greater advantage for Ronnie. Still, Kyren Wilson is playing some rock solid snooker, too so we will see what the odds will throw at us.

Incredible Ronnie O`Sullivan.
He looks might motivated and I think he wants to taka that 1.000.000 GBP for a winner of all 4 Home Nations tournaments.
If he plays like this, nothing is impossible!

Ronnie had 98% pot success in the finals and only missed 6 shots in 11 frames they played, finished with 132 century break.
This man is a genius and that is incredible, never seen before... at 42 yo!!
