    English Lower Leagues (1,2,N) 14/4/2017

    Date: 14.4.2017
    Sport: Football
    Event: England League 2
    Start time: 15:30
    Game: Portsmouth v Plymouth Argyle
Pick: Plymouth (+0,5) AH @2,50 or more!
    Bookies Offer: Pinnacle @2,52!
    Stake: 10/10
    Analysis:
OK, we are winning again and that is the only thing that counts. Five picks on this very eventful Friday, holidays coming and I wish you all the best!
The first match will be a South coast derby between Portsmouth and Plymouth. Both of these two teams saw better times, Pompey as you surely remember were Premier League team, but due to financial troubles relegated all the way to League 2. Plymouth had a long spell of Championship football, but again they too fell into financial crisis and ended in the same league as Portsmouth.
Now, these odds are not very clear to me. This is a very important local derby between two teams that can play without pressure. They are both inside promotion places (2nd Plymouth and 3rd Portsmouth) and they are both great teams for this level. Last season it was Plymouth who eliminated Portsmouth in playoffs (but suffered finals defeat) and this season they will both promote automatically (as it seems).
I did not find any important team news that would make me think twice. Yes, there are news in Portsmouth about rich investor, but that means nothing. This is going to be a real derby full of passion and it is impossible to predict a winner. Plymouth are uneaten against Pompey in the laast 4 games they played and both teams are in great form. Odds are ridicoulous and we must take this. My call is 1-1 draw!

    Millwall - Northampton
    Pick: Millwall -1 AH
    Odds: 2.03 @ Pinnacle

No alternative for Millwall but the three points this afternoon. With just four rounds left to be played the team made it to the top six and now it is up to them whether they will be able to keep their playoff status. This will be their last game against a club outside the top ten, with three really tough matches against Fleetwoord, Oxford and Bristol Rovers coming after this game, which makes the three points today even more valuable. And with the home form they are showing in 2017, collecting ten points from their last four league games at The Den, as well as still being unbeaten in 2017 at home ground in all competitions in fourteen games (11-3-0), I do not expect them to choke exactly today, in this really important fixture. Several players in the like of Archer (keeper), Craig and Ferguson (defenders) are doubtful for the game, but even if they are not able to make the squad, I remain quite positive for the hosts to take what they need from this game, which are the three points.
Northampton, currently six points clear of the danger zone and maybe just one or at most two good games would be enough for the club until the end of the season and I think that they should (and will) be definitely way more focused on the upcoming home game on Monday against Shrewsbury, a match, in which the three points would almost certainly mean keeping their place in League One for next season as well. Club top scorer John O***8217;Toole is still not 100% ready and would probably not be able to play in both games in this Easter period and I think that Edinburgh will keep him out of today***8217;s game, with the striker being fresh and prepared for the game on Monday definitely being more valuable. The visitors are also still without long term injured Zakuani and Hosking and adding to that the poor run in which Northampton is away from home in 2017, having lost six of their nine league visits (1-2-6), I cannot see a different result but a home win today.

      18-04-2017: Bolton vs. Bury

Bolton, second in League One, will host Bury tonight (20th in the league). Bolton is still full in the race for direct promotion to the Championship, which they will have when finishing 2nd.

Bolton has the home advantage, and despite the fact that they lost the last two matches with a minimal result (0-1), they are in a pretty decent form and will be looking for revenge for their home crowd tonight. They play against a team which is just above the danger zone and which hasn't won once in their last five matches.

I expect a strong home team, hunting the three points, and keeping the promotion dream alive.

      Tip:
Bolton to score over 1.5 teamgoals @1.61 (10/10)
Home team to win and bts @3.45 (3/10)
      Bolton to win (-1.5 handicap) @2.38 (6/10)
