Default A-League - 24-25 Feb

Brisbane Roar vs Newcastle Jets

Brisbane have been on and off this sesson, they haven't impressed. They are still in the fight for the play-offs and it comes as a boost to the team the fact that they signed up their former goalscorer Henrique.

The Jets have been amazing this season, they are second in the table and they have a great attacking line, having scored in every match this season.

Bet 1: BTTS and over 2.5 @1.90
Bet 2: Jets over 1.25 goals @1.88

Melbourne Victory vs Adelaide

Victory have been in poor form for a while now, with e consecutive defeats, and Adelaide jumped over them on the ladder to 4th spot.
They played 4 days ago in Shanghai in ACL and lost 1-4.

Adelaide have been playing well enough recently, having lost only once in their last 6.
Last round they came back from 0-2 and one man down to draw with the Mariners at home.

Bet: Adelaide +0.5 @1.73

Quill are you taking into consideration weather conditions when making an opinion of the game? I know listen to to comentary in Roar - Jets game and they are saying that it is really hot and that players are felling fatique . Therefore as i watched they had some really sloopy plays , can not finish good oporunities...

Just a feeling that Victory can run over Adelaide in first half and will try over 1.5 in 1st. Adelaide is playing really nice footy and Victory is not that bad in terms making oporunities but couldnt finish , maybe this is turning points at least for goals

There were heaps of chances in the match, they missed them unfortunately.

In Brisbane is humid most of the time, all teams are used to it.

Perth Glory vs Melbourne City

Glory lost two players this week and their squad us fairly thin now.
They will bring in several youngsters to make up the numbers.
Moreover, their play-off chances are slimmer now after they lost away to the bottom team in the league, Wellington.
As we all know their defence is like a sieve too.

Before losing 0-4 to Sydney last round, City were in very good form.
For this match they don't have major issues.
Last month City won 2-0 on this stadium.

Bet 1: City -0.25 @1.90
Bet 2: City over 1.5 goals @1.81

City looks sloppy and slow. They are too predictable even for Perth which defends in numbers today. Was hoping for an open game but looks bad, low quality passes, slow tempo. Maybe after first goal, if will come...
