General picks: Al Ahli (Saudi Arabia) vs. Teractor (Iran)

I expect these odds to go down, Al Ahli are one of the better Saudi teams, actually one of the giants. They are one of the 4 teams that were never relegated from the top flight and have won many titles.

Their oponents Teractor are not among the elite teams in Iran though and this season they are rather poor. As result their bottom place in the Champions League group A is no surprise.

The first match between the two ended as 1-0 away win for Al Ahli and Teractor scored only once in 4 games so far.

For Al Ahli this is a match they need to make qualification to eliminations sure. Their form is solid enough, they have lost the title in Saudi Arabia so focus is all one Champions League. I have no doubts they will win, my call is 2-0!

I fancy Al Wahda at home tomorrow. Especially at these generous odds.
Tashkent are bad travellers (3-1-5 in their last 10 games as guests, 4 losses in the last 5), while Al Wahda are quite convincing at home. They are 8-1-1 in their last 10 home games.
They are in much better shape (5 wins, 15-7), while Tashkent have only 1 point in their last 5 games with a GD of 4-9.
Besides, the second place is still in Al Wahda's reach in the group. And I would count on the revenge factor as well, as they were spanked profusely in the reverse game (0-5).

I would like to place a bet on

FC Shanghai vs Kashima Antlers

over 10.5 corners @2.25 from hkjc.

Antlers have the highest number of corners in J-League, average 12.60 per game.

Shanghai is a bit low though, average 8.75 per game.

But in order to be alive, I think Shanghai will attack from the start. Hopefully they will get 5-6 corners and Antlers get 6-7.

Well, anything but goals here would be a huge surprise. Shanghai are an ultra attacking team and without pressure and against a very vulnerable team, that will need to open, we can expect some goals.

Shanghai of course are trying to take the throne in China, they have fantastic financial background, great team and this season they look very strong. They have started the League with 4 clear wins (17-3 goal difference!). Both Champions League home games were overs (4-1 and 2-2) and of course if you have Oscar and Hulk in your team and also best chinese striker Wu Lei (scored 8 goals in 4 games so far!), you must be considered a scoring machine.

On the other side, Kawasaki are almost out: the only hope would be a win against Chinese, but I don`t think they are able to produce that. But for sure they will try, so they will need to open their defence.

For me a clear home win, my all is 5-2!
