Aris-Ergotelis
Ergotelis +1 (AH) @1.84 (Pinnacle) 4/10
Is Aris so hot favourite against Ergotelis to be priced at 1.54 (average market odds for the HW)? Is Ergotelis actually less motivated than Aris for this match? Two questions that I hesitate to answer "yes". Ergotelis is keeping a 7 points distance from the relegation zone right now but is facing Olympiakos and AEK in the next two weeks so a defeat against Aris may mean problems in the near future. On the other hand, Aris, after surviving the cup game against Xanthi (with a last minute goal) during midweek, has to play again Xanthi the following days in order to reach the cup semis. And the Greek cup is the biggest aim of Aris this season, even bigger than their participation at the league play-off, I dare to say. I'm not sure whether Hector Cuper is going to rest any players in order to have them fresh for the cup game but sure thing is that important midfielders Nafti and Camel Meriem are unavailable. These missings weaken Aris' midfield and I guess Ergotelis' packed midfield (reports claim they're gonna use 3 defensive midfielders, Orfanos, Beto and Junior) has some nice possibilities to block the opposition. After all Aris is a side with big scoring issues, especially at home where they usually face packed defensive lines. Take in account, Aris at home has made it by big margins (winning by 2 or more) only once this season, against Iraklis (4-2). To conclude, Aris is facing fatigue, lack of concentration and his regular scoring issues. If they win this game it would be after a hard fight, so I can't really get why the asian line is at 1 goal, instead of 0.75. Initially I had no intention to get involved in this game but after seeing the odds I'm willing to spend 4 units for this Ergotelis +1.0 (stakes are returned in case Aris wins by 1 goal) that is priced at 1.84 by Pinnacle. Just for the value of it.

The thing is that the expectation of the sports reporters is that Cooper won't rest anyone, with the exception of Calvo that is a "maybe" right now with Adu for the AML position.
Reading everyone insisting that Cooper won't rest anyone makes me start believe that, however I won't be surprised to see some rotation inen the end. The thing is that new transfers have not yet adopted fully to Aris and if Aris actually plays with best 11, then they are favourites against this Ergotelis. I still rate the visitors a good side, but they lack the enthusiasm they had in the beginning. I have to admit I'm more tempted to a low scoring affair, rather than backing the +1 asian handicap on them, but most possibly I'll skip any suggestions in this game, mostly due to Aris.
They get back full crowd to back them, they got a miraculous draw in the Cup to end a bad streak of results and they seem to be confident again. However, strikers have seized to score and that is always bad. They need Campora's goals, let alone Calvo's or Koke's and if they don't have them, they are in trouble. If Calvo starts, that will be great news for them. With Roumpakis out for Ergotelis, Calvo would have a big advantage over experienced but slow Kordonouris. Then again, it's the pitch. In terrible conditions vs Panthrakikos, now expected to be better, but not as good as it should be. Too many unpredictable factors here...

I think today Oly win, away team have new coach, last game win against Levadiakos 5:1, and today most win, maybe not win (5:1,or 4:0 because is not realistic), but 0:1,0:2,1:2 is very realistic.
Home team have two lost game in row.

Panionios began the game with unpredictable lineup and some bizarre choice if players in the midfield. Where Nicolaou and Castellione were a real force in first round, now Paraschos used ...Omo and Maniatis, a central defender and a right back. Paraschos thought that they need to improve the defence, which was the weak side of the team all season. However, this is the 2nd consecutive 0-0 for Panionios after the midweek draw vs Kavala. Panionios lost huge chances to win the game, but 0-0 it is.

Definetely better, but hasn't found the way to the net so far. Team already thinking about Roma. One way or the other they should prevail. And they are a team that can score 2 goals in 5 minutes, once they score. But if this goes all the way to the 80th minute, then they would be of course in trouble...

I expect them to win tonight. However if the stakes in the combo are low/medium, I think it is good to go.

Unfortunately, it is not. Panathinaikos seemed uninspired by the game in front of a huge game for european cups and now they seem that they can pay that indifference with a very big price, costing them some points. Let's see what happens...

I think I'll try Olympiakos away win high stakes under those circumstances, it's an unexpected opoetunity for them to recover some ponits.

Now this is getting very very interesting.Olympiakos allready winning 0-2 and Panathinaikos lost to kavala 0-2 and now playing Thursday vs Roma and Sunday at PAOK who has 9 wins and 1 loss(by olympiakos) at his home and they still have to play together.Uber fun.

Panthrakikos-AEK
Both to score @2.07 (Betoto) 4/10
1-2 FT. 4.28 units won
Easily won, after 56 minutes of game. AEK could had scored more but Panthrakikos scared them in the final minutes.
Panionios-Iraklis
Panionios @1.91 (Eurobet) 6/10
0-0 FT. 6 units lost
Panionios missed really big chances in the 2nd half but they didn't make it.

Not the best Sundays for me as well, the chance for a profit is a good lesson learned and this is not a cliche,
I'm expecting delayed profits next week. See you all in the upcoming midweek cup games...
