suqad problems for sevilla w/o stankevicius their defensive joker since sanchez (long term) ,konko , schilachi plus drago are out so if neither recovers they will again have to use a -quality- youngster ..also kanoute is a doubt wich woull leave only fabiano as striker but well sevilla has such a wide squad only navas and palop to some extent can be missed these days ..

soldado is doubtfull in geta wich would be a big blow ...

cracking cup game tonight with some dejavu factor and allready two games played between these two in last month when getafe surely looked not an inferior team in either one having irregular sevilla at their feet in some spells ,and we say irregular couse that it is one of main traits under jimenez with the team unable to have long runs of good play and not too strong personality game rather relying too much on their wingers specially superb navas plus their usual suspects upfront some of the best strikers in the league fabiano ,& kanoute plus negredo lately then zokora has boosted their midfield more as a cover than as a plus as teh ivorian can fil the gap between lines , for today sevilla has some doubts on important players like kanoute and drago (important as schilachi is out and they have anotehr 2 defenders out ) so specially the serb should play given teh importance of the game kanoute should be on bench .
In front geta has doubts on influential soldado that scored both in pizjuan at league game and is their best finisher tough this team has other good choices for goal like miku or moral plus leon , albin (doubt) or casquero , coach says he is not optimistic regarding soldado but it is probably mind games and he could make it ......

so host should start all guns firing and we know this team is able to take the ball from sevilla now the psich factor may as well take part as guest lost tie at same stage last season ag athletic and geta did a more dificult one to come back against mighty barca 2 seasons back having a inferior squad wich toguether with fact jimenez has some sort of cup yinx it could make host quest easier .

The rojiblancos traveled in Cantabria kinda relaxed as only a 'Waterloo' can cost them the place in the final (vs Sevilla) but Quique will not take any risks and is fielding his best XI possible. Only the physical conditions of Forlan, Simao and Reyes could cost them a place in the line up.

Racing are heading for the miracle! Mr Portugal who was suspended on Sunday evening when these two met each other in the league, is fielding a 4-3-3- attacking formation. Colsa, Lacen and Diop (excellent in his defensive duties on Sunday) will be the three in the centre of the field while wonder boy Canales, will be surrounded by Xisco and Tchité up frond! Canales is the revelation of the campaign and Real Madird have already booked a place for him, while Tchite is in great form. This means that two of the back bone of the team during the first round, Munitis and Serrano will start on the bench and this is a sign that Racing have some quality to show!

Racing were excellent on Sunday and got into the game to win it. The 1-1 final score should have been something like 3 or 4-1 with Atletico struggling once again (pathetic defense, thanks God that young keeper De Gea is doing great job). To tell you the truth Atletico didn’t try to win this (Kun started on the bench) and they were fielded to take the draw…

The surprise was Racing who played to win the three points and are now getting into the cup game aiming to turn things around!! We saw Getafe yesterday. Geta were eliminated but they were totally deserved of a place in the final! Racing will have Geta and last Sunday’s great performance in mind. They may lose, or take a narrow win, but I will trust them here to grab a great victory and wish them a ticket to the final…!

Hard to find any good bet for tonight ....

leaning towards under and overs in cards of course with atletico a failure can not be out of the question but after what we have seen last two games it looks quite unlikely that racing will score 4 w/o atletico scoring one ...actually it seems unlikely to see racing scoring 4 at all as they look a bit sharpless at times more a team that can edge oponents with meaningfull game under portugal pulling right strings ....
have to disagree here with the embassador regarding last game racing could have won it -ref did not help - but were not so overwhelming superior ....
acording to some sources host may field serrano on the left def side and the 3 midfielders probably with colsa on a freer rol and munitis as well free rol with tcite and xisco upfront wonderkid may wait ....
atletico scoring one and the game must be over hence unders look a distinct posibility ...
whereas whenever two teams play 4 times a season usually in the fourth all grudge and revenges unleash with nasty tacles and old timrs antics like radomir would say ...
but also fact the game may be over at some point and they have more important things to think about makes me wonder besides the ref is best spanish one undiano one that usually do not loses coolness wonder if they will some how benefit racing (or barca see madrid based press and villarato saga ) after failiure in first leg

imo racing will not lose simply couse they will want to keep good feelings and at least do not lose face in front of supporters that were very excited about cup final ...even for today local presss sells a big come back and stands will be full ... imo a lower profile would have been better ...

so i expect a game very tight racing will start strongly after 5-10 mins will go on like a steam with direct footie as portugal thinks perea is not good enough for crosses and dominguez youth may make him blunder w/o losing an eye to the back .... maybe score 1....2 .....3 ....but between 2->3-> and four atletico may nick one somewhat ....

lets remember racing allready trashed atletico last season in teh league tough that was one of those games from atletico not likely to hapen in a cup semis ...
